Description of Work: air conditioner malfuntioned-called parker. tech arrived and checked equipment and told us we needede a new motor and capacitor. we told him to go ahead as it was very hot. next day it malfunctioned agaqin-we clled back. man came back out and said that the register in the one bedroom wasn't open wide enough and that shoulde fix the problem. it operated in a mediocre fashion for the next few days and then began to malfunction again identical to the first time we had called. we then called another company. they caqme out and checked it and told us that we needed a new expansion valve and that had been the problem all along. we put it in with this company and it has worked fine ever since. i feel i was ripped off by parker for work i didn't need-i would never call them again!!!
