Description of Work: I paid for a water heater flush and a comprehensive Plumbing inspection. What I got was a young gentlemen shows up and I suggested that we start at the hot water heater drain because I already had a hose connected and the electric to the heater turned off. He looked at the Whirlpool unit and stated it was a very nice unit with a 12 year warranty and asked me the last time I had it drained. I stated 4 years ago when it was installed. He told me there would be such a large amount of sediment he could not drain because it would clog up the drain and then it would not be able to get turned off and I would have a garage full of water from the leaky faucet. I asked him my options about purchasing a new drain, etc. and told me there were none because Whirlpool makes a special faucet that cannot be purchased so you just throw away the water heater after you pump the water out of it. So 1 of the 10 items could not be done and he left after telling me you need to drain water heaters a minimum of twice a year. So a complete frustrating experience. I doubt I will get a refund from Angie List because they will probably back up their contractor who showed up. I will have to pursue with the BBB and the ROC. HArd to believe since they carry a A+ rating with the BBB but I am sure if the gentlemen does a few more of these attitudes towards customers that rating will drop quickly.

 + 0 moreOf the four or five service providers we called, Tim was the only one who would come out and look at our water heater issues without charging us. Everyone else wanted to charge to come out or have us order a water-heater installation over the phone. Time came out, was very professional, accurately assessed our needs, and gave us a bid. The bid was very reasonable based on what we were hearing from the other providers, and he was far better at customer service. He was also on time (even early after calling ahead) for the install the next day. Again was very professional and the install went smoothly. We called him back after a hissing noise materialized the next day, and he came straight back and took care of it. Very reassuring and we would use One Stop again with no reservations.

 + 0 moreThe plumber was on time and finished faster than I expected. He had the tools, equipment and knowledge to complete the job professionally.
Description of Work: Hot water heater was leaking. Called One Stop about 10:00 and they gave us a price over the phone and came out when promised at about 2:00. The plumber evaluated the heater, started draining the old heater and got a new 50 gal gas heater. The Plumber got back before the old heater was drained. The installation went smoothly, everything was cleaned up and the price was exactly as quoted on the phone.
