Mr. Electric of Phoenix Metro

I had initially called regarding an electrical outage in my family room. Jim Davis, of MrElectric, came out to do an estimate. The house was built in 1977 so I had a number of apprehensions regarding old wiring, "handyman" fixes, etc. Jim did a great job of checking the house and the panel and showing me what wasn't current code and what was grandfathered into the house inspection. In the end, the wiring was copper and in good shape; however, one breaker was cracked and all of the switch plates and sockets had the wires pushed in. A number of the sockets were falling apart. Jim did such a great job and was professional and pleasant even though it took almost two days to get the job done and he had to crawl through the attic. Jim was a please to work with.

Work was performed well. The guy estimated about 2 hours to do everything, and it ended up taking almost 4, but they stuck to their quote and did a good job.

Robert Facio came out to do an estimate within a day or so after we called, and he came back the following week to do the work. He showed up when he said he was going to and performed all the work in the 2-day time period he had estimated -- working 11 hours on one of the two days to get the job done. As this is an old house, he ran into several unexpected problems and was able to figure out a solution. And he did more than he had to: he replaced the wall board pieces he had cut out to install the wiring and outlets. So when the wallboard company came out to patch the holes all they had to do was tape, mud and sand the hole areas. This probably saved us a few hundred dollars. Mr. Facio was thorough, very professional, and easy to work with. We're really happy we elected to use Mr. Electric to do the work and grateful to Angie's List for the recommendation.

Corey was the consummate professional, punctual and courteous. The company's customer service was responsive and timely with scheduling. While I initially thought the price was a bit high, after Corey had to spend 6 hours, 2 supply trips, and several road blocks in our attic/walls diverting strategies to accomplish the job, I felt he had earned it. He was sensitive to my anal retentiveness regarding the aesthetics and maintained a (realistic) "we can do that" attitude at every roadblock. Would definitely call them again.

Arrived on time after they made several pre-date calls to confirm--so good there. the electrician was neat and clean knew his stuff, spoke English as a first language--another big plus, as I have a slight hearing impediment. Very professional, cleaned up after himself. Thought the quote was a little high--maybe $100.00 or so, so not really happy there. But love the work. Only thing is he did not have 'cord covers', and made no comment as to if he would send them or not. Thought that that should have been made clear, and if they are part of the job, I should have been provided them--which is why I only gave 4 stars for 'professionalism'. Still, happy I called--I've been debating for a year to have this done. It looks great, and my husband is in heaven that he didn't have to try and do it himself.

Tim was EXCELLENT. It was a complicated problem, he figured it out and fixed it. No problems ever since.

The technician, Corey Hightower, arrived exactly at the time he had promised. He was professionally attired, and had all the necessary tools to complete the work. He also patiently explained to me all the features of my new ceiling fan and then carefully cleaned up the installation debris, including removal of the old ceiling fan. The cost, including installation of a ceiling fan, was $125.00. In this day and age when service persons seem to be grumpy and cannot wait to get out of the home with your money, Mr. Hightower was a breath of fresh air.

Technician (Jim) did an excellent job from start to finish. Very polite, listened to our needs, very professional and a professional installation as well. We would definitely recommend this company to family, friends or complete strangers looking for punctual, professional, quality work.....with a smile ! Geez ! The tech even wore "booties" and swept up after himself ! Very impressive and we give them an A++. This particular tech is a true asset to Mr. Electric ! Thanks !

Very nice work.....very professional ! The job turned out exactly as I had hoped that it would with no surprised from the original agreement. The tech was very informative and very professional with his approach to his job. Would definitely use them again....and have, in fact <g> ! "Two Thumbs Up" !!

Overall good. Luke was supposed to arrive between noon and 4pm. At 4pm, we left for the community pool. Came back about 5pm to find Luke sitting in front of the house. He apologized and said the previous job took longer than expected. I understand that but he did not call us and their office is closed on the weekends. Left us in the dark and disappointed in the service. He did what he did quickly and gave us a discount. I would use them again.

He was excellent, polite, knowledgeable, and did not rip me off. I would recommend him to others.

Lights in our kitchen and bedroom were going on and off by themselves. Fearing fire, we called an electrical contractor, but after 2 days of "no-show", we turned to Mr. Electric. They responded promptly and their electrician arrived that same day, precisely at the time we had agreed on. He was polite, courteous and professional. He gave us a quote and proceeded to diagnose the problem. He quickly found several receptacles that had not been installed properly. He even found and repaired our "mystery switch" - the one that doesn't turn on ANYTHING when you flip it. We weren't even thinking about that one. It hasn't worked since we bought the house over 15 years ago. Now it turns on the lights when you go in the bedroom! (Hooray!) My husband asked him to check the wiring in the in the attic, since he (my husband) is disabled and no longer able to do such things himself. (This was on a 90+ degree day in Phoenix, just after noon, and our attic is pretty dusty!) He climbed into our attic and inspected it, and found everything in order. He came out covered in dust. I felt sorry we had asked him to do it, but he was very good natured about it and said he didn't mind. Boy, was I surprised when he told me there was no charge for that service! Such a nice guy! He even laughed at my husband's silly jokes (hubby's such a card!), and was very nice to our pet cat, Tripper, when she strolled in and offered to help him. He cleaned up after himself in all the areas where he worked and the price for his services was just what he quoted and very reasonble. It was a pleasure having him work on our home. I certainly will call Mr. Electric for all my future electrical needs and will highly recommend them to my friends.

The entire job required two separate trips. All in all everything went well. The person doing the work was a personable young man who was very professional. We are very satisfied.

I wasn't really happy with their service. They did what we needed they to do as far as replacing a wire on a grill. He installed used product on the light switches in my children's rooms. They are really terrible looking. I wish he would have shown me the product before he installed it because I would have said no to those and bought new ones for him to install.

Mark arrived on time and gave us an estimate of time and money, he stood by his estimate. It is nice to find a company that stands by their word. We would use them again.

Husband said service was good and technician very professional, but overall we thought services were expensive.

I'd bought a new ceiling fan from Home Depot and they suggested I use Mr. Electric for the installation. I called them and they sent out James Oth. James couldn't have been more helpfull or professional. Not did install my new fan, but when I told him that at some point I'd like to add extra lighting in the kitchen, he let me know that he could do that too and we could do it while he was still here. In no time at all he was able to install the new lights. I will be using Mr Electric again.

They were excellent and could not have been better. A very nice person came to the door, he worked hard and cleaned up after himself.

If I would have not pushed to have him stay he would have just left without fixing the system correctly.

They did a good job and I have used them before.
