He did a good job getting the unit working. He was here for maybe one hour or maybe 1 1/4 hour. Put 1.5 pounds of freon in the unit and charged me $285.00. I didnt get an itemized bill put I feel he charged about $100 too much.

Very responsive great customer service

You cannot trust this company, they will rip you off. I was told by Salty, the owner, my AC had leaked out all its Freon and I needed a new AC. Found out too late that my AC was completely full and I only needed to replace a bad capacitor! Salty sold me what I believed was a brand new Trane, however, the unit I got did not come directly from Trane. It was a defective used or second unit and it was not even the size I ordered. The 4 ton unit was way too big for my 1200sf house and would have meant my electric bills would increase significantly. Salty, of course, told me the oversized unit would cost less. The unit quit working shortly after it was installed. Mechanical Brothers would take days to respond back and only after I called repeatedly, another day to schedule a service call which was always late in the afternoon and too late to repair that day so they would schedule another day to do the repair. Never the next morning which would have been the only responsible thing to do. They ended up having to order a legitimate new Trane, which is when I found out the original Trane I received was not new. The new 3.5 ton Trane was installed incorrectly and it took them over a week to correct their poor installation which was the cause of the new AC not working. I went 20 days without a working AC in August when AZ temperatures were 116à °.

Did the job correctly.

Knowledgeable technician, scheduler got him out quickly. Our system is 16 years old and on its last leg. The tech was able to diagnose the trouble and provide a path to keep the system up and running a bit longer! Will be coming back to them for replacement of the unit when the time comes!

Steve know exactly what the problem was. He fixed the problem very quickly. The system is now working. Steve was very professional and courteous!

Matt from MBHC was excellent. Quick, efficient and most of all had the heart of a teacher. Found additional potential issues for the future, explained ratings and swapped out the capacitor with ease.

I have now been hit on by not 1. But 2 employees from this company. After already telling the owner it was inappropriate to conduct from the 1st guy. He sent a different person who did the same thing. I ordered an ac install not a boyfriend.

Wonderful communication and scheduling! Mechanical Brothers was able to make it out within a couple hours when the company that sold us a lemon of an AC unit canceled and wouldn't schedule us for 2-3 days.

Scheduled between 3-6, but came by 9am, had system back up before 10am, will go with them for any future work

Mechanical Brothers are real dynamos. At first there was a miscommunication but then they MORE than made up for it!! ! I repeat, they MORE than made up for the snafu and I appreciate them very much, and their services, and their concern for the customer! I really appreciate Sarah in the office, and Matt the technician, and the owners. I will for sure use them for future AC needs. Thank you, folks, for your professionalism and courtesy!

Left a mess outside just dragged the old unit out and left a trail all the way. The chipped framework inside now needs to be replaced or put and repainted. Said they were coming back the next morning at 7:30 am did not get here until1:45 pm.
