Maids of Honor has been in business since 1991 with a field staff of 15 and an full time Operations Manager. Many of our employees have been with us anywhere from 10 -4 yrs which I believe shows our relationship with our staff.

Services we offer

Maids of Honor is primarily a residential housecleaning company providing excellent customer service, professional staff and detailing that most services don't do. We provide weekly, bi-weekly, 4 week service, one timers and occasional callers. We do not have any contracts for you to sign as we believe you should be able to choose by our efforts if you want us to come back.

Services we don't offer

We don't do ironing, dishes, laundry as we give flat rates based on repetition of duties. When these things are added it is too hard to put a price or time on the task. We do have a list of "special projects" we can add for an additional cost as in plant shelves, windows (on smaller homes), ovens and inside of refrigerators.

Description of Work: They were totally inconsistent and their prices are way too high. On several occasions, they had one or two people to clean a 3,000 sq ft house and they were in and out in an hour and a half... they werent changing the water in the pails when washing the tile floors, just wiping with dirty water. If I need to change an appt, the office would lecture me, saying that I needed to stay on schedule so they could keep the same crew coming. I stayed on schedule and the same crew never came. Sorry, this company is not for me. Price too high!

Description of Work: They vacuumed and mopped my floors, changed sheets, took out garbage. cleaned bathroom, dusted furniture. My house is very small - under 800 sf and I live alone so usually 2 workers appear and finish in under 2 hours. They are very professional and pleasant. I'm very satisfied with their service. I've been with them for 3-4 years.

Description of Work: I have used Maid's of Honor on and off for the past 10 years. I have found them to be professional, thorough, and attentive to detail. I like that they have a management staff that I can talk to and they work with their employees to meet my needs. They are not the least expensive option for a cleaning service, but IMO they are worth the extra cost because they don't cut corners and consistently deliver week in and week out. I have also used them for move-in/move-out services on my rentals. I have been very pleased with their services over the years.

Description of Work: They were not easy to work with. In order to be a customer, they wanted me to keep on a rotating schedule. If i were having company and wanted to change appiontments, they were not happy - even with a few weeks notice. They promised the same crew each time - never happened. The person I liked was alway sick or had a child sick. My house is over 3,000 square feet and sometimes they would be in and out in 1 1/2 hours (2 person crew), not enough time to clean thoroughly. I had to keep reminding them to change the water in the buckets as they continued to mop the floors with dirty water. I was paying them too much money for only OK work. I found someone else who is $50. cheaper and does a great job. I wish I hadnt waited so long...

Description of Work: They clean my very small house and have done so every two weeks for about 3 years. They dust the floors, mop the floors, dust furniture, clean the stove top, change the sheets (1 bed), clean the bathroom thoroughly, wash the patio doors/windows, clean the kitchen counters and sink, and take out the trash. They "spring clean" rooms on a rotational basis and work from a check list so they don't miss areas or items. They usually send two workers who easily finish the work in about an hour. They arrive in timely manner and get right to work. It appears that they have a low worker turnover so I think they must be treating their staff well. Management is conscientious about training new people. A newbie always works with an old hand. Management has always responded promptly when I have requested changes or special services. I'm very happy with the firm and the staff. They're really first class.

I love the way my house looks when they are done and always look forward to their next visit! I would highly recommend using this company for your house keeping needs!
Description of Work: Detailed cleaning of our house. They come and clean our house about once a month! They have a very detailed way of cleaning and are trained to clean a certain way. They even fold our rolls of toilet paper into triangles like a nice hotel. I love their special touches and attention to detail!

I had been threatening to get a house cleaning service and chose Maids of Honor after reviewing The List.I put off calling because I was embarrassed to have anyone see how dirty my house was. Cathy met with my husband (retired) and me to describe the service, discuss what I wanted done, how to handle certain things (do not throw out left over coffee), don't try to clean stacks of papers, mags, etc in bedroom for now. She mentioned what products were used for certain items and said she didn't think I needed every week that every other week is enough. She was very professional, had a written list of duties to be performed and made notes. The price is based on size of house, number of people and pets: we have two adults (husband retired) and six cats. They have been back once for the bi-weekly cleaning and "spring" cleaned the family room. I did not give it the white glove test, but seems to be fine and I can report later on the maintenance cleaning. Bi-weekly cost to be $150/$165 and I need to firm this up,I made check for the $150, but statement said $165 so I need to follow up on that.
Description of Work: First visit "spring"cleaned the kitchen and two bathrooms plus regular cleaning of master bedroom, family room, living room, dining room, laundry, entry and back hall. Floors are tile except wood in bdrm plus a number of area rugs. Kitchen cabinets have raised rim that collects dust & dirt. These sparkled better than when we moved into the house. Floors were very dirty and these too sparkled. They seem to do all the things I did when I was being a good housekeeper. I skipped back three bedrooms due to clutter but will add these later. I am very satisfied that they lived up to their promises. I would recommend to anyone. I did not shop around so do not know how price compares but I certainly received my money's worth, I considered my house a disaster at the time. They were here about four hours. Regular cleaning is about two hours per my husband.

It went very well. They called to ask if they could stop by early (which I of course said, yes) and got right to work. The only thing that was difficult was the fact that my girlfriend was present for the entire cleaning and felt like she was in the way as the crew wasn't very friendly in the way they asked her to move to a different area of the house.
Description of Work: Full housecleaning to prepare for family coming into town for my Master's graduation. The house hadn't been deep cleaned in several months and they did a top to bottom cleaning.

They started off working really hard but after 2 hours they were not even close to being done. They lady in the kitchen did a very great job in the kitchen. They never did the front porch like it said in the welcome package. There was dust still on my head board. They left in a hurry after the discussion of how long they should actually be there. The price that they quoted me was actually higher then it should have been. It ended being discounted $60.00. Still not sure if I am going to have them back due to some personal issues.

Their work was exemplary overall - the only slight complaint we had was a bit of streaking on the windows, which they immediately took care of. Not cheap, but worth it - the house is gorgeous and now ready for the new owner to find it and buy it!! We will be using them again on our next fix-&-flip if it is within their service area (and we hope it will be !!).
Description of Work: Maids of Honor did a pre-marketing final cleaning on a house we have been renovating - they cleaned the kitchen, bathrooms, ceiling fans, insides of the windows, and all but the tile and grout which we had done separately.

Very well. Have used other services before but either missed spots, pictures were crooked etc. Was nice to have crew that speaks English! Did very good job. Office manager very friendly and easy to set up appts. with.
Description of Work: Twenty three hundred foot home hadn't been cleaned for a few months and very dusty from desert landscape and lots of dust from flagstone patios being added. Bamboo floors, and sort of unique Frank Lloyd Wright like open design. Two gals did nice job in 3 hours. Plan to use every 4 weeks at about $165 per quote.

I recently switched to this company. While they are more expensive, their quality, professionalism, and attention to detail was beyond my expectations. They will work with your scheduling needs. They are also very professional and quiet. They have a system that they go by and although they might have different employees that come out, they all follow the same system every time. I will continue to use this company for future house cleaning.

I can say that they did good work. I did not have to go behind their work at all and they made sure everything was done according to my request. They have really good workers and I would recommend their service.
