Love Pool Care

Because of some recent medical issues with my son, I requested additional service to my pool in order to keep it in perfect condition. Love accommodated my request at a reasonable cost and has kept the pool sparkling clean. They leave a written analysis of the pool condition at every visit and notify me of any pool equipment work that may be necessary. Most recently, they gave me a bid to fix a long-standing issue with my pool plumbing and update my control system. They worked around my schedule and even worked on Memorial Day to finish the job.

They have been great so far. The person that comes out, Mike, is young, so I was a little concerned at first. But he really knows his stuff, and I feel he takes care of the pool as if it were his own. The last guy I had was good, but I really didnt get a trusting relationship with him. So overall, I am please with his work, knowledge, quality, and timliness.

It took them over two months to bill my credit card. They also stuck two months of maintenance charges on our credit card when we had specifically asked them not to. They change the dates they come without any warning. I am not particularly satisfied with them. I don’t think they are good at what they do .I have two pit bulls so they can’t keep coming in my backyard without us knowing, because they could let the dogs out. Whenever we approach them it is our fault; they don’t take any responsibility. I am planning on going somewhere else.

We sold our home and moved out and needed a pool service to repair/replace equipment and maintain the pool while the home was on the market. They evaluated the equipment and were able to replace the pump, equipment pad and pool sweeper. The weekly service keeps the pool sparkling and beautiful. I never plan to own a pool again, but I would recommend Love Pool Care to anyone needing service!

Very professional, prompt, free estimate. Turned out the problem was a part that I replaced myself. I will use them in the future for more serious problems that require a professional repair.

The pool was inspected in a very professional way.

They said they would come out on a Wednesday to give an estimate. They did not show up. I called them, and they said they scheduled the estimate for Thursday by mistake. They said they would come out Thursday at 9:00 am. they were 15 minutes late, no big deal at this point. They quoted me a price for the work and said they would check the pool operation when it was cleaned and operational. They said they could do the work on Monday. they told me they would send an e-mail with an invoice for me to approve and start Monday. I never received an e-mail from them. i called them on Monday. They did not seem to know what I was talking about when I called, and said they would check and call me right back. They never called back. I had to call them the next day. They did send the invoice and said they could do the work on Thursday. After draining the pool. They sent someone out the next week to clean and acid wash the pool. That person appeared to be a sub-contractor. He did a good job cleaning the pool but broke the fill float valve. Luckily I was home and saw the valve was broke and turned it off before the pool over filled. They never called to tell me when they were going to come back and clean the filters and do the start up chemicals. I had to call them again the next week to get them to come back out. They came back on Wednesday and added the chemicals and cleaned the filters. They left before i got home. They did call me and tell me the filters were bad and gave me a quote to replace them. I am not sure why you would put bad filters in and start up a pool, but they did. This caused most of the de put in to leak into the pool. The quote they gave me to replace the filters was high. i could do it myself for less than half the price. Over all their customer service was not very good. I had to call them about 8 times to find out when they were going to come out. It took over two weeks to get the work done. They really seemed like they could care less that i was giving them my business. I should have stopped doing business with them when they forgot the original appointment. Next time I will use someone who does want my business.

This is a very professional company and the owner immediately responded to what issues I had over the service. Plan to continue to use them.

We were having trouble with our pool's pressure--The barracuda was not working. Jeremy came out and was friendly and professional. He looked at the situation and ascertained that the valve was simply turned the wrong way. Instead of it shutting off the skimmer, it was shutting off the cleaner. He easily could've been dishonest and charged me for "fixing" the problem, but he did not. He explained everything and even had a suggestion on how we could prevent clogging up the barracuda by getting an inline canister. I was extremely appreciative, especially since he didn't charge me a thing for educating me and coming all the way out to address the problem.

I like Love very much, they are the only ones who took the time. The repair was very cheap as well. He was a nice guy and gave me a lot of information. He told us we needed to empty the pool and told us what to do about that, he gave us some good pointers.

Responded promptly to my call. Jeremy was out within a day and provided a detailed estimate and explained all options. Michal Love was very responsive to questions. There were a couple slight delays in completing the work but nothing major. Overall the experience was very good. Courteous and conscientious service, quality work and competitive prices. I would definitely use them again.

The repairman showed up the next day. Very professional and knowledgable. Replaced the entire plastic pipe rather than just the area leaking. Gave us a larger sturdier gauge, explained why. The leak was fixed right there. Not only that, the pump now runs quieter, because there is less shaking in that area where the new pipe is. We were very pleased with the overall experience. As well being able to pay by credit card is an added bonus, rare in comparison to other pool repair companies.

Everyone from the office girl to the sevice man was very polite, and prompt. Called one day and they were out the next. The office quoted me a lower price than what it should have been but they honored the price they quoted me on the phone.

I am happy with their service and recommend them. Since I am not always available to sit home and wait, and have 5 dogs, I was grateful someone was able to come on such short notice and willing to enter the backyard without my being there. Again, pool is blue, clear, and swim-ready.

He put the Jandy valve on backwards. We called the next day on the service man's cell phone asking him to fix it. No response. the next day we called the company and they said they would have him call us that day which was a Friday. Again no response. On Tuesday we called again and reached the owner. The repairperson called us back and said he would be out that pm. Called later and said he would be there next day. He arrived and put valve on correctly. The pump was then making the noise and he said we would need a new one. He said a quote would be emailed to us--never rec'd one. Paying the invoice today but certainly NOT happy with experience!

I am "torn" about this company. The workers were punctual, polite, professional, and helpful (John the service mgr answered some questions about the pool at house we just bought). On the other hand, I believe the communication was not crisp (some misunderstanding around timing on follow-up visits), and I paid a premium price (other companies quoted green pool service at $325 vs. $495 for Love's) but got less than I expected (ex.1 when other companies have done an acid wash for me, they have brushed the pool surface but Love's techs did not, even when I asked about it; ex.2 quote included "chlorine wash," but when I asked techs about it, they said it was not necessary as acid wash was more aggressive treatment than chlorine - I don't know if this is true or not but would have felt better about things if they would have done the chlorine wash too). While the pool definitely looks better than it did prior to the service, there are still discolored sections that perhaps would look better had the techs brushed during acid wash. Lastly, when the techs came out the 2nd time (after pool was filled again), they did a DE filter clean that I do not recall requesting. Since they came out 3 times in total (once to drain & acid wash, once to check pump & do DE clean but found pump to be inop, and 3rd time to complete chemical load once pump was working), I paid for the DE clean without raising a big fuss (I assume usual green pool service normally only requires 2 visits, but, in my case, the pump motor was dead, which necessitated the 3rd visit). Overall, my experience was mixed bag, which is reflected in my ratings.

We were in need of immediate pool service due to negligence by the former pool company. Michael Love responded to my email on a Sunday afternoon (Easter) and had his team out the following Tuesday. The cause of a leak was identified and fixed, as well as a full pool service. As a result of our positive experience, we selected Love Pool Care for our weekly service. We are very pleased with their service and responsiveness.

They responded ver quickly, did all the work per their estimate and were extremely professional and efficient. Overall a great experience.

They are very good. They were very, very fast - they came out within a couple of days. They seemed very honest and I would highly recommend them.

I had contacted several pool service/cleaning companies to perform weekly maintenance on the community pool at our condominium complex. We live in a mid-century community in central Phoenix. As with all unremodeled vintage structures, our pool is a challenge to maintain and clean. I did alot of research to find out what was actually needed before I began calling contractors. Love Pool Care was the ONLY company that said YES to ALL of my requests at an incredibly competitive price. They actually bring in special equipment once a week to make sure that we will have a beautiful and sparkling pool. Stephanie takes care of things in the office and always extends an exemplary level of customer service. The entire staff is conscientious and works with the belief of doing it right the first time. I have never had to call for a 'redo'. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Love Pool Care for any residential or commercial pool needs. We immediately liked the service guys and felt very comfortable with them providing our weekly service. They have been very punctual and helpful at each visit answering any questions we have.

Excellent experience! I contacted the company via email, they responded promptly that they do provide service in my area (which most pool companies do not). I was contacted by phone to schedule a time, and was assured that I did not have to be there, which is difficult with my work schedule. Jeremy made a number of visits, keeping me informed as to what he was doing and what I could expect. The pool is now beautiful! When I received my final invoice I felt there was a discrepancy from the estimate I'd been given and sent an email with my concern. Michael, the owner, responded immediately and resolved the issue fairly. My "B" rating for price may not be fair as I didn't price shop the repair work, but you know how it is...nothing ever seems cheap. But I would absolutely recommend this company and will use them again.

Had a very green pool & company coming. They came out & drained, powerwashed & refliied pool. They also had to replace pool motor, filters & skimmer. All work was done in under one week before my company arrived. Terrific service & very professional. I now use them for weekly service.

Michael Love was very professional, personable and easy to work with; we had some unusully difficult staining and deposits; he put in extra effort to make sure he did the very best he could. His cool-deck and grout assistants were very skilled, did excellent work, and did more than asked for.

Their service fee is too too expensive. For example, to replace the cleaning modulator with 6 ports. They asked for over $400. I talked to another company, they asked for about $220. Realizing the big difference, I decided to fix it by myself. I bought the part from the store for $170 and replaced it with 10 minutes. It's working now. I'm still curious how LovePoolCare came up with the lousy price. Please, please compare with other providers before using LovePoolCare.
