I was lucky in that Mark was able to come the next business day due to a cancellation. He showed up a few minutes early that morning. Given the magnitude of the job, that was welcome. Mark performed the installation alone. He worked diligently. The charges were quite reasonable. The results were excellent with the exception of the conduit coming out of the pannel which is not quite vertical. Nevertheless all in all, Mark did a very good job. I have more electrical work to do in a month or so and I will call on Mark again.

Contractor forgot about the appointment made for 11/1/2012. Rescheduled for 11/8/2012. Contractor arrived and replaced the ceiling fan and one light fixture. Said my other fixture did not fit the existing receptacle, and was just nasty about it. He apologized latter. I believe it was more work than he had in mind. Have never received a credit for the unfulfilled portion of the deal I purchased.

You guys got to love Mark. He's professional and very personable. When he came in to put a ceiling fan in foyer he was amused because he?d never seen a ceiling fan used in that manner. I explained about air exchange in house and he got right on board with it. Mark went out of his way to change over the box from just a light fixture to ceiling fan with remote and light. Secondly he fixed an outlet on my patio that seems to go out with dust stores and installed a new safety light with sensor motion. His prices were very reasonable and he did strong ones work. I would use him again. In fact he's in my Q to put up more lights outside.

Mark was very timely and responsive to my request for an estimate. When I provided additional information that I thought would affect his estimate, he was very prompt in communicating the numbers. He was easy to communicate with and, although I ultimately went with another provider, I definitely would consider him should the need for electrical services arise in the future.

Mark pulled the permits, arranged the disconnect and reconnect with the utility as well as getting the city to sign off on the permit. Mark came by shortly after I contacted him to look the job over and give me a bid. He followed up a day before he was scheduled to do the work, and arrived early the day he was scheduled. They also cleaned up after their work.

The work was done well. Care was taken to prevent damage or to any part of the house as well as care taken to not make a mess or dirty the house in any way. The work was done very well with a very satisfying outcome at a reasonable price.

Mark saved me $$ by fixing a light fixture that I had thought needed to be replaced and helped resolve several other small lighting problems that I hadn't expected as part of the deal. He knows what he's doing and is very friendly and professional.

Mr. Kelso arrived on time, installed the fixtures very quickly, left the area spotless. The best part is that he spent extra time answering my questions about a cable connection, and even inspected old work done by the cable company. As a result, we saved money - he helped us find a cable outlet we didn't even know was there! We are delighted with this company and will definitely use it again.

This guy (Mark) was awesome. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone surfing around for some electrical work. Not only did Mark work w/me on the price (since the deal expired before I was able to get the coupon), he was EARLY to his appointment and wasn't put out when I rescheduled on him for later than originally booked! I became somewhat disenfranchised w/local service providers thus far on Angie's list and Mark restored my faith that there are a few good companies out there. He's now in my electronic rolodex and will be my "go-to" guy for all my electric work.

All jobs were done timely and very professionally. Mark made sure the whole kitchen was draped with plastic sheeting so the debris from the ceiling cutouts did not get all over my appliances and countertops I will definitely reccommend him to others looking for electrical work tone done. I contacted Kelso Electric to install recessed lighting in our living room. Marcus coordinated a date and time that the inspection and installation could take place. He arrived exactly on time and was ready to make the job happen. What complicated things was that I was out of state yet Marcus was willing to go the extra step and work the entire transaction and job over the phone and pictures. When he finished the job he took a picture, sent it and I was delighted with the job. He cleaned up and locked up my home. THe work was beautifully done and we will definitely be using his electrical services again. Highly Recommended!!!

Mark was great. I called him up and he was there within an hour. He was very friendly, and professional. He identified the problem and fixed it in no time. It took a lot of pressure off trying to find the right electrician.

He arrived on time and was very responsive to my needs. In evaluating my ceiling fan situation, he told me that the fan was fine but it was the foundation it was resting on that was not sturdy and causing the clicking noises I was hearing. He recommended against putting up the new fan with concerns that to do so could be a danger to me. He did what he could to reinforce the current installation and balanced my original fan. As a result, the fan is running better, without the noises, and I feel more confident that it is safe and effective.

Mark is very responsive and professional and did a great job installing my fans. He kept the job in the 2 hour time limit for the purhcase I had made of two hours of labor. Very good deal.

Last weekend someone stayed and was using the room. The fan and light had been running for a few hours when all appliances in the room began flickering and we smelled smoke. The fire department checked the attic wiring, breaker box and room outlets, concluding that everything was fully up to code and the problem was in the fan or the light-box wiring. I then called a different electrician to check the installation, and that second electrician advised that the fan wiring had burned out due to faulty installation by Kelso. I now have a brand new fan that's burned out and I've had to buy/install a second new fan. I've spent the money and time twice to get a fan installed in that room. And if the fan had been running with no one home, it's also possible I would have come home to a house fire.

THEY CAME IN AND LOOKED AT IT AND DECIDED WHAT TO DO RIGHT AWAY. tOOK CARE OF BUSINESS AND LEFT. i WAS VERY SATISFIED.

Mark, the owner, called within days after I purchased the coupons to try to schedule the ceiling fan installations. I appreciated this proactive approach, as it encouraged me to use the coupons right away. They were accommodating of my schedule, and arrived on time. Mark brought his twin brother, Scott, who helped install the fans and provided entertainment through their banter. They brought all of their own equipment, worked efficiently, and provided helpful feedback on some lighting changes we wanted to make. They did an excellent job and we will definitely call them again for electrical or lighting needs.

Installation went well-no glitches....

Mark Kelso responded to my call very quickly and was able to get out to our home in Chandler within a couple days - this was during a holiday week. He was very courteous and professional over the phone. He arrived on time and did a great job. We originally planned to replace 3 ceiling fans but had a change in plans because we only had 2 ready to go. But Mark accommodated us by adding some light fixtures to the front of the house as well as an additional one for a nominal price. He also discovered that our new ceiling fan's box was not functional, so he replaced it with the original fan's box, which I know took some extra time. We're also in the process of remodelling our kitchen. We had an electrical issue in the island, which he quickly looked at for us and sealed off for safety. He was very helpful with random electrical questions we had. Also, took a look at electrical in our backyard as we were uncertain of how power would get to an island grill/refrigerator. He made some recommendations for us that was helpful, we'll definitely use Mark again. Electrical makes me nervous and for things that would take us forever to do, he was able to do in a couple of hours. We really appreciated his insight and recommendations.

Mark was punctual, polite, dressed professionally and answered my questions. He brought parts for one Ballast, but was able to run out and procure an additional one when he discovered 2 bad ballasts. The vanity outlet required 2 squares drywall be removed. I suggest allowing yourself time for finish cleaning since most workmen leave area pretty clean but sweefer and mop help minimize tracking.
