Mark and his team were wonderful. I had a run in with an unprofessional contractor that I fired after they started hanging drywall. I called Mark Kelso and explained to him that I was now in a tight spot. He was able to remedy the prior work and pick up where they left off without any issues. I made sure Mark knew how anxious I was after the first contractor and he assured me that my anxieties were warranted and he would hope to change that. My need were definitely met and I plan to work with Kelso again.

Mark was very friendly and professional. He was able to advise me on how to determine if interior wall is load bearing or not. Highly recommend this company they are very responsive as well and very knowledgeable.

Mark did an excellent job in following through and making sure the quality of the work was good on our home addition. He has been very responsive to any issues that came up during our construction project and communicated well. Mark is enjoyable to work with and always available to address and/or resolve questions or concerns arise.

It went great. They kept the workspace clean every single day. If you've ever hired contractors, you know that's not very typical. Mark was great at communicating with us and answered our questions promptly. We had quite a few changes throughout the project and he was very accommodating with all of them.

Left a message. Never called me back. I even took the time to visit the website and leave a request for service. Still no response. I left a detailed explanation of the problem with my ceiling fan light. Apparently, my job was too small for them to respond. My overall rating is really an "imcomplete" rather than a D or F.

I highly recommend the services of Mark Kelso of Kelso Electric Inc. We had a failure of a breaker in our outside electric box?one that powered our air conditioner! He gave us fast response, accurate problem analysis and rapid repair, which is much appreciated in our 110 degree weather. In addition, he is honest and very pleasant with which to work. I give Mark my very highest recommendation.

He arrived on time and spent the whole day at my house. He was nice, professional and brought in two other workers to do the drywall repair. Overall, I felt like my house was in a shambles, but at the end of the day, these guys cleaned up everything and I was quite satisifed with the work. I would absolutely use Kelso again.

Mark was fantastic. I needed to replace an old & dangerous Federal Pacific electrical panel. I also was remodeling my kitchen and was in need of new outlets, circuits, and lighting. I reached out to five electricians. Mark surveyed the work right away and got a bid to me within a day. When I reviewed the estimate with him he was honest about what I needed (and didn't need). He spent two days at my property doing the work and everything was done well. I'd highly recommend using Kelso Electric.

We were so pleased that we had him come back in Oct 2014 and hand 2 outside lights for us. I would have this company do any wiring for us.

I've worked with Mark a number of times over the past 1.5 years and have found him to be very thorough, efficient, and always does a great job at a very reasonable price. He runs his own business and I find we are able to connect after one or two phone calls. While doing laundry over the weekend my dryer stopped in the middle of the cycle and completely died, no power. I went to the breaker panel and sure enough the breaker was tripped, so I reset it and still the dryer would not start. Electricity scares me and I really don't like something as simple as resetting a breaker, so when the dryer still didn't work I figured it was either the breaker going bad, the outlet, or my dryer. I gave Mark a call and left a message and he gave me a call back the next day. Mark was able to come out and after opening up the panel he discovered the breaker was loose and coming out of its connection. He verified the breaker itself was still good and was able to reset it securely. Mark checked out other aspects of the breaker panel to make sure there were no other issues or safety concerns, and since my home is nearly 30 years old he was kind enough to tell me what to watch out for as signs that my panel may be wearing out. I appreciate the time he takes to explain the details to me and his interest in helping me understand more about my breaker panel. My dryer works great now and the breaker is no longer tripping, thank you , Mark!

Never ever heard from this company! On Angies List looks like there were others with the same lack of response reviews,

Are they still in business? I have called them for about 10 days and not received a phone call back.

I contacted 3 Electricians to request estimates on a rather large electrical job at our house. Two of the electricians were from Angie?s List and the third a referral from a friend. Two of the 3 electricians (1 Angie?s List and the other an outside referral) were able to make it over and give us estimates. Both electricians came within a couple hundred dollars of each other cost wise. After meeting both electricians and going over all online reviews for both companies I was leaning towards Mark Kelso?s company. It was important to me that the person doing the work at our house was the person that is certified and holds all the licensing. With Kelso Electric, Mark Kelso is the owner and the electrician that would do all the work. Mark was the higher of the two estimates but was willing to match his competitors estimate and we were thrilled to hire Kelso Electric for the job. The job touched every room in the house and went 360 degrees around the outside: · Install pigtail switches and outlets to copper keeping old switches and outlets · Install motion sensing flood/coach lights on the front garage, front entry back yard and both side yards · Install GFI outdoor outlets at front of house, patio and two at the back yard. · Install GFI TV outlet on patio · Install 2 florescent lights in garage · Install 3 additional outlets in garage for water softener and work bench. · Install 2 new ceiling fans and correct mounting brackets on 3 others · Install 4 can lights in living room with dimmer switch · Install 1 can light over computer desk with dimmer switch · Install additional power/USB outlet behind computer and separate outlet for the alarm · Install 6 can lights in kitchen on motion senor switch · Install 2 additional power outlet in kitchen · Install a circular skylight dome in kitchen · Install HDMI connections and additional power outlets for wall mounted TVs in 3 rooms · Install exhaust fan with timer switch in main bath · Install another GFI outlet in main and master bathrooms · Install additional power outlets in all 3 bedrooms · Upgrade electrical panel to new 40 space 200 amp panel Mark was always on time, professional and personable. He was always willing to listen to any concerns and answer all our questions. He was wonderful about working with all our changes as they came up. Mark did a fabulous job with all the work, meeting deadlines and keeping us up-to-date on everything as we went along. Mark was very thoughtful in prepping the areas he was working in and cleaning up after himself at the end of each day. One of the most important items that factors into my final decision to hire any service provider is other customer?s reviews of how the provider handles issues or any problems. We ran into an issue with the location of our front entry light and its ability to function as a motion detector. Mark installed and tried 3 different style lights and when we were still having issues came back a month later to install a timer switch as an alternative so we can still use the light in the way we were trying to. I couldn?t be more thrilled with our decision to hire Mark Kelso as our electrician and would rehire and or recommend him again for any future work.

Mark had already tightened up all of the loose connections in our electrical panel by the time he rang the doorbell. He determined that was not the cause of our dimming problem so he went to work checking behind the wall plates in the bathroom and bedroom to determine if anything there was causing the dimming problem. He found a bad wine nut behind the wall plate in the bedroom. After replacing the wire nut, everything worked perfectly! He was friendly and nice and very professional. We would definitely call Mark again for any electrical work that needs to be done in the future and highly recommend him.

I called Mark and asked for some help on short notice, I was working on a project in my guest room and was pressed for time. He showed up as promised, performed all of the work, and provided a reference for a drywall contractor. Great service, would definitely use him again.

I am going to call them in the future. Although I can't remember the cost, I do remember thinking it was reasonable.
