Prompt, professional service and Mark is very personable. I think it speaks for itself that we've called him a second time to do electrical work, and we will not hesitate to call again.

Mark originally came out and gave me a quote for several electrical jobs I have been wanting to get done around the house. Afterwards, he e-mailed me the quotes and we set-up an appointment for the following week to get some of them taken care of. Mark arrived as scheduled and replaced the one faulty GFCI outlet in my downstairs bathroom, then proceeded to install two exterior GFCI outlets powered off interior outlets. He did a clean job with no visible damage to my interior drywall, as can sometimes happen; likewise, the exterior outlets are snug and straight on the stucco. He finished in about 1.5 hours. Mark conducts himself professionally and and his work reflects his attention to detail. I will call Kelso Electric again when it is time to do the other jobs that I need as part of my home updating.

That turned out well. I purchased 3 of these Big Deals. They did the work, the service went a little over and they honored the plan and price. They worked hard. They installed 2 fans and an outside light fixture for me.

I called to get an estimate on electrical work. No one answered their phone, so I left a message. They never returned my call.

Mark was very polite and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend him.

Mark did a great job! He came to our home, gave us an estimate and answered all our questions. He installed recessed lighting with 3 way switches with dimmers. He made sure the area was protected with tarps and plastic. He cleaned up after himself. The room is an unusual shape, which caused the job to take a little longer. Mark worked through all the minor problems. The lighting is great!! We are very happy with the result! We will definitely call Mark for any future electrical work..

Mark, the owner, is very professional, pleasant and hard working. He kept to his estimate even though he ran into some complications and it took him longer than anticipated. Any other company would have tried to charge an upcharge. He was very clean and kept the dirt/dust to a minimum covering all my nearby furniture and carpet with plastic. His rate was reasonable and he was on time. I will definitely use Mark again.

Mark Kelso is very professional! He took pride in protecting our goods from the dust, and not tracking dust throughout the house. He cleaned up after himself (what a well trained guy!). He was very patient with my husband acting as his "Apprentice for the Day". He returns calls promptly and completed our project right on time. We hope to have him service us again in the future.

Extraordinarily professional craftsman. The day I had asked him to come over for an estimate, I had a dental emergency and could not be there. He sent me his estimate that afternoon, and I was pleased it was within my budget. He arrived right on time and installed the lights within in 2 hours. The lights really set the house off and look great. Cleanup was very complete and the lights work as advertised. Thanks again, Mark!

Completed the work exactly as requested. Mark did excellent work, very professional and prompt. I felt the price was fair for work performed. Will definitely use again when needed.

Due to busy schedule, had to email service request. Responded quickly and set an appointment for next business day. He was right on time; I wasn't but he was able to get started without me. He quickly checked all the issues, found the problem and fixed in less than 2 hours. Also advised of some potential issues that may arise. Highly recommend and will definitely call Kelso Electric again.

The job went very well. They were efficient and professional all the way down to their uniforms. They realized they would not be able to rewire the lights on the circuit causing the problem without cutting into newly painted walls/ceilings. We talked about lighting options including the simple fix of changing from 60 watt incandescent bulbs to lower wattage LED lighting. I am not a fan of LEDs but am now eating my words (Mark, feel free to say "I told you so."). Mark also assisted by checking work which was to have been done as a condition of sale after an issue was reported in the home inspection. We found that the work was not completed and he fixed the problem. His patience as I went through the electrical information on the report was appreciated.

When I attempted to change the bulb, it was stuck, and forcing it caused the fixture to turn as well, braking off the wires. The fixtured needed a replacement socket. I called, and Mark arrived in 45 min., picked up the socket at Ace, and was completely done within an hour! Affordable, efficient, friendly and professional!

Service was excellent. Timely scheduling and service time. Work was performed promptly and well.

If you are thinking of going the 'handy-man' route for an electrical project, DON'T! I did with the intent of saving money and in the end paid twice as much because I had to have the work done twice. Mark was a life-saver. The previous handy-man resource had improperly wired some recessed lights and even left live wire loose in the ceiling. I am so thankful Mark was able to address all the problems that existed and get everything wired correctly. If I had only gone with an electrician to begin with I would not have had to pay twice for the same job, so do it right the first time and use someone licensed! Mark is quick, to the point, gets the job done, licensed, and knows what he is doing. I highly recommend him.

Mark was professional and efficient. He was on time, answered phone calls and was well qualified for the electrical work he did for me.

It was fine. They completed the job, they came when they were supposed too and it was a painless transaction. They were good. I would use them again.

They were prompt and courteous. The job was completed in less than 1/2 hour. They cleaned up their mess and were on their way! GREAT JOB! I am planning to replace 2 more fans with their help in the next few weeks.

Kelso electric arrived approximately twenty minutes early than scheduled appointment and quickly got to work on ceiling fan in Living Room informing me the fans motor was the problem. New fan installed. The Ceiling Fan in bedroom however only needed the screws tightened. I was completely satisfied with the work done.

I tried calling them once, left a message for them and they never gave me a call back. Like I said, I was not able to speak with them personally so I cannot speak about the quality of their work and I do not know the circumstances of why I did not receive a call from them.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went pretty good. The owner of the company was a gentleman named Mark. I called and made an appointment and he came out within a couple of days. He was on time, was appropriately dressed and was very neat. He told me that he would be here at 8 and was probably actually here 7:45 AM but he did ask me if it was okay to come early so I appreciated that, too. He's just a pretty nice gentleman. One of the things that I actually appreciated was that he showed me a different way that he could replace the lights that would give me more lighting in my garage. I was very satisfied with him. He did everything that was on the deal. There were no surcharges, he didn't try to sell me anything else. He did a great job.

He did do as advertised. He did not like the fans we purchased. After installing a couple of fans he said it was the motor going out. I had to return 2 fans and repurchase fans for him to reinstall. Really, the fans needed to be balanced better. Probably didn't have to go through repurchasing the fans. Very tedious and slow. Spoke of receiving a bad review.

Mark from Kelso was very polite and accomodated me with scheduling the service. Mark was also the electrician who came to install the lights. He arrived exactly when he said he would and was clean and neat in appearance. During the install there were a couple of issues with the structure of the house that had to be addressed and Mark was very good at keeping me in the loop.

I can usually tell if a provider will be good or not....by them actually answering their phone. Two rings, phone is answered politely, I tell him my problem, and to my chagrin...I go check the ONE outlet I forgot to check to reset. Instead of just taking my money for 5 seconds of work, I now know which company I will go to if I need an electrician. Thank You!

Lights were installed AFTER I requested a refund on the Angie's Deal, and I paid him at time of service the same rate, as I had already requested a refund. To date, I have no refund, so I've paid for the same service twice. Not a deal.
