Description of Work: They called and asked about my project. Then informed me that they have a minimum cost for any projects. I've never heard of this with any landscaper and he really didn't seem to want to waste his time. Not interested if they aren't in helping with smaller projects.

Description of Work: I needed an inspection and troubleshooting of my irrigation system. As a do it yourselfer I just needed guidance from a pro so I could learn and fix the systems problems by myself. The service guy took his time and walked me through everything and explained things thoroughly. He asked me several times if I had questions which I did and he patiently gave me detailed info. I now feel like I know my system well and the various leaks and problems I have since fixed. Highly recommend Hawkeye!

Description of Work: We just bought a big beautiful custom home with an acre lot. We wanted to update the landscaping, it seems a bit overwhelming. We asked the representative to come out to give us advise and a quote. When speaking to him, he insisted on knowing how many plants we wanted before he came out to our house. We have no idea of what to plant, where to plant, hint the reason why we are hiring a landscaper. If we knew what to do we would go to a local nursery and they would plant it for free. He refused to work with me unless I could tell him how many plants. We use Angie's List for all of our services like this. We will not use this company. We will continue to look for someone else.

Description of Work: After buying a home, we found the pre-existing Rain Bird system had at least one bad valve and the system needed to be inspected overall. Hawkeye showed up on time, inspected our system and gave us a complete report on what was needed. Hawkeye had all the necessary parts stocked on the service truck, and the repairs were made promptly in just the single visit. Their representative gave us some useful tips on using and expanding the watering system. We will definitely call Hawkeye again when we need service or repairs to our watering system.

Description of Work: Kelly and his crew were punctual, courteous, and very neat, even hosed down the patio when they were complete. Project took two days and our backyard looks amazing. Kelly's suggestions and insight were exactly what we wanted. Great job.
