Description of Work: He did some repairs to my irrigation system. It was a bit of a process, but they finally got it done. It really was an odd thing that ended up being wrong. The guy was patient and he kept coming back until he fixed it.

Description of Work: Pulled out tree and built a BBQ area with built in grill and bar area with built in cooler, cabinets and burner. Removed hill ~ 3ft high along back wall and built a planter ~ 3 ft. high and 60 ft. long across back wall. Replaced all plants. Extended patio to bar area with pavers. Bricked off grass from gravel area. Redid sprinkler and drip system. Laid sod in the new grassy area. Stuccoed and painted the entire backyard fence. Replaced old gravel and built walkway and platform for trash cans.

Description of Work: Hawkeye Landscaping and Gordon in particular were the kind of professionals you would hope to work with. All communications and work were prompt and timely. They built a retaining wall and two sets of stairs. They repaired the irrigation system in my one plus acre yard and readied it for the second phase which will be in about a month.

Description of Work: The Hawkeye folks had some pretty good ideas and I think did a good job overall, but in my opinion they were overpriced and lacked in attention to detail. Specifically, I had a defunct accent lighting system that I wanted removed. They forgot to remove it, and when I called them on it they came back, but only removed part of it. I had to do the rest myself. Several of the plants they put in died, although after the 90 day warranty period so I couldn't do anything about it. I think they know their stuff but if you want to use them I'd press them on price and make sure they complete everything they agree to do.
