They worked very quickly and efficiently but we're also careful with my belongings. The crews were very friendly, professional and helpful. I needed help moving some extra appliances around, and they happily helped. They also helped put my bed back together and moved the furniture until I was happy with it. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to a friend. They were recommended to me by a friend who liked the company as well.

They said that there would be additional $145 traveling fee and minimum of 2 hrs. I am getting a refund.

Movers were on time and wrapped everything to make sure there was no damage. I was a little sticker shocked, but I got over it because they did such a good job. I guess to get what you pay for.

I have used Get Your Move On twice in the past month. The two movers I had on both occasions were 100% professional. They treated my belongings and my home with with care and compassion. And they were very respectful towards me and my wife.

Company is an absolute ripoff. Surprised they are even able to be on Angie's List. Quoted me 400 to move 2 couches and a bed 5 minutes away. Company did not perform job because I did not allow them to rip me off.

10They did a great job both packing my grandmother's items but also moving them in a very efficient manner. They did not seem to waste any time and were able to complete the move in only 5 hours, three hours faster than expected. Definitely the best movers I have ever worked with!

Get Your Move On was very accommodating when I found it necessary to change the moving date. Impressively, they asked for email confirmation and sent me an email including photos and general information describing the two men scheduled for the job! They arrived about 10 minutes early and we're ready to roll. They were very friendly and professional throughout the experience. In fact, there was good natured laughter between them. I really appreciated the sense of humor when my dad got adamant about NOT taking an item with him directing his frustration at me. GYMO men offered suggestions to make things easier for us and didn't mind that we added items to be moved. They were careful of Dad's things and careful of our home. The job was done quickly and efficiently. They helped move some items in Dad's new room for better positioning. GYMO may have been a bit more money but they more than met my expectations!

Although I did not actually go forward with using this company I must say they are very professional and responsive. I had Sammy come out and give me a quote. He was in time answer all of my questions and provided me with the written quote the same day. I wound up going with another very reputable company from angieslist as they were a bit more competitive with their pricing. Get your move on was willing to try and earn my business by matching the other companies pricing but unfortunately it was a little late. I really did not know that this type of stuff was negotiable.

These men were again, professional and wonderful with which to deal. We called them on a Friday and were able to move us on Sunday morning. We were so grateful. Glad we found this source!

The team that showed up was professional and courteous. They took great care in wrapping the furniture to make sure it would transport safely and be safe in their warehouse.

The 3-man crew arrived a few minutes early, checked on my Mom's needs, and got her moved without any issues at all. All 3 of the crew were exceptionally polite and well-mannered, a huge plus for my 92 year old Mom. The guys were very efficient. I would not hesitate to use them again!

I spent about $1700. They're not a cheap moving service but you don't have to worry about the move at all.

Our experience with Get Your Move On was positive from beginning to end. They responded quickly to our request for an estimate. Pablo provided a knowledgeable, realistic estimate. We have a lot of books and were being moved down three flights of stairs and so we knew the move would involve a larger crew (4 men) and more hours (the estimate was 8 hrs. but we were able to move quite a few boxes and small items ahead of the move, so it only took 6 hrs.) than it would otherwise. The crew -- neat, clean, personable, and helpful -- arrived about 15 minutes early (the better not to be late) and immediately got to work. They went the extra mile throughout the move (for instance, moving our large plants into the bed of our pickup for safer transport to our new home and uncrating a new piece of furniture we had delivered to our new house the day before), made sure everything was done to our satisfaction, and did not waste one moment. We could not have asked for a better moving experience.

They called first thing on moving day to let me know that they would be running a bit late and would have 2 rather than 3 movers. They then arrived when the said and immediately got to work. They were very friendly and professional. They carefully wrapped and packed everything, loaded the truck and off we went. At the condo, they unloaded everything and placed the boxes and furniture exactly where I wanted them. The only things broken were those that I packed. I would recommend them without any reservations and will definitely use them again. They made a stressful day much easier.

They were great. I have never seen a moving company operate like that. They were trained and all their men were professional and helpful. The move was grueling and the crew was outstanding. I had no damage from them at all.

Great experience! Arrived early, started early (didn't start the charge until the agreed upon time), worked fast, three -man team was dressed professionally and was very personable! Asked questions along the way to make sure they did exactly what we wished. Robert was team lead and he was a pleasure to work with-communication was great. Happy to recommend them to any and all!

All things considered, it went very well due to the fact they were extremely professional beginning with Pablo Ramirez. Pablo is the first person that I saw and I found him to be quite personable and truly an asset to Get Your Move On! On the actual moving day, James, Chad and Sam were punctual, professional and they all had a great sense of humor! I have a very long couch that was very difficult to get into my apartment when I moved in but on this move, Chad figured out how to get it downstairs much easier than the previous move! I was very concerned about getting it downstairs. They were awesome! Most of my stuff went into storage but some went to my son's home. The move took longer than expected due to the fact that I have a lot of "stuff" and James, Chad and Sam helped pack quite a bit of stuff that we were not able to finish. Pablo stopped by to see how everything was going and he too helped with the move. They all went above and beyond and I can't say enough good things about them. I hope everything is in good shape when I take it out of storage.!

The movers were professional, courteous, upbeat, and efficient. The total job was completed in 2.75 hours. Amazing!!!

Getting an in-person quote to start out made me much more comfortable going with Get Your Move On. Pablo, who came out for the quote, was able to answer questions and was very friendly. He also took down a note on a fragile, valuable item (a large framed poster). He also let me know that even though I did my own packing, they had wardrobe boxes so I didn't need to pack away my clothes. The day of the move, they showed up fifteen minutes early and got moving. As their website says, these guys have hustle. They finished an hour under the estimate. I highly recommend Get Your Move On.

I had a good experience with them. They came on time and did their job. There was no damage to anything. The items stayed in storage for a few months. Everything was handled very well. I was very happy with their service.

I couldn't be happier. This is the first time I've tried Angies list, and prior experience with movers (both part time and professional) left me wanting more assurance than a Craigslist ad. I called around 8am with an emergency situation needing lots of moving help, and they delivered, arriving by 12pm that same day. I know that it was pure luck they had availability but still, Derrick promptly called me back after confirming an available crew, just like he promised. 3 professional guys showed up, were friendly and helpful, and worked their butts off for 4 1/2 hours. I wanted half my things moved into storage and the other half to a house. I had lists put up for them and without complaint, they made short work of packing the truck in perfect order to make the quickest unload possible at both locations. There were several instances they could have padded the time, or sold me on extras. I knew this wasn't a "budget mover" but I wasn't on a splurge, so it was very helpful for me. The price was good, a little on the high side but it was exactly as estimated which is all anybody can ask for. For what I got, the price was very good. They have new and plentiful equipment, expert movers, and were prepared for even an heirloom quality custom made wine/humidor cabinet. It arrived without a scratch. I would not hesitate to call them again for any moving help. I've moved over 30 times in my life, and this is the first time I would ever use the same service again if I could.

They arrived on time, introduced themselves, and got to work. We had two moving trucks and two 3-man crews. They were friendly, professional, and accommodating of special requests, "can we add this" etc. They finished within their 6-8 hour estimated time frame, and under the estimate. We estimated $2500, and added a $50 gratuity per crew member to the total, which was still under the $2500 estimate. We found them through Angies List, and I would have to say, if you want a good experience with your move, hire the best company you can find. It's worth it in the long run. We were very pleased with Get Your Move On from initial contact phone calls to estimate day, to move day. All went smoothly, and as promised. We would recommend them highly.

The crew of 3 showed up on time. We did a quick walk through and agreed on what needed to be moved and what didn't. They were very professional and wrapped every single piece of furniture in moving pads and plastic wrap. They even put pads on my doorway to protect it as they moved things through it and laid runners on the floor for their dollies.. They were quick and efficient and there was no damage to anything. Once we got to the new house they made sure to put everything in the proper room and they rebuilt the beds and furniture that they had to take apart to move. I would highly recommend them and I plan to use them myself again in 6 months when we move from the current rental house to our newly built home.

Get Your Move On moved us from our current rental home into our newly purchased home. Our move isn't the hardest but we had some factors that add difficulty/additional cost and time to any move. We have the usual 'stairs' in our move, but beyond the stairs, we have a extra long driveway that you can't bring any large vehicles/trucks down. So, you either have to transport everything from the house to the street manually, as the previous corporate relocation movers did (at least the length of a football field/100 yards...my guess) or you can do what Get Your Move on did and use a auxiliary vehicle (pickup truck) and shuttle items from the house to the street.....GREAT idea from Roger! We have used corporate relocation movers for our last two moves (AZ to TX, TX to AZ), due to work relocation and Get You Move On was not only PAR with using big, corporate relocation movers and the services they and relocation provided, (Van Lines, etc.) they were better and did better than our past two moves! They wrapped all our furniture (no hidden costs and everything disclosed upfront during the estimate/proposal that Roger does IN PERSON), and wrapped and protected it was! Again we have moved twice with corporate movers and have had something (if not multiple somethings) break with each move and this was with THEM wrapping, boxing and handling packing up the house. Well, as we had time on this move and wanted to cut down some of the costs, my husband and myself packaged and boxed our stuff. We moved the majority of the personal stuff and kitchen stuff to our house prior to the official 'move date' with the movers. BUT, the boxes that they did move that I or my husband packaged (and so I've been told, us non-movers don't pack as well as the professionals) not only arrived in one piece with nothing broken, but nothing seemed 'roughed' up during the move. No boxes we torn, ripped open, etc. and everything arrived in the same condition that it left our previous home in. Nice Job Guys! Everyone was knowledgeable, friendly and professional! A huge thanks to the team that helped us with our move; Roger (awesome in person quote with LOTS of knowledge and experience), Kevin, Brandon, Parrish, Donovin and Clemente. Again, nice job everyone and we will definitely us this company again! They did awesome and I would recommend Get Your Move On to anyone who will listen to how great their service and experience was.
