The Get Your Move On Crew arrived on Wednesday at 8 am to pack the house. They packed everything they way we wanted, working efficiently all day long. The crew returned at 8 am on Thursday and moved us to our new house. They made three trips back and forth to the new house which is two story so there was a lot of going up and down the stairs with lots of boxes but carpets were covered and the walls of the stairs protected so everything was perfect. It was a long day but they never lost their great attitude or helpful manor.
Description of Work: The Get Your Move On Crew arrived on Wednesday at 8 am to pack the house. They packed everything they way we wanted, working efficiently all day long. The crew returned at 8 am on Thursday and moved us to our new house. Again, they were hard workers with great attitude, a great bunch to have in our house.

Outstanding! Roger Greene and his crew were wonderful. Communication was precise from the get go. Roger was patient with me, corresponding via email and telephone frequently during the quotation process, as my moving plans were chaotic and changed daily. He was able to provide service within 7-day?s notice. The day of the move, they were on time meeting me at the Penske location to drive the trucks to my home and unlatch the car transports for them to load the two trucks. I got my money's worth. They worked 6 hours straight, with hardly any breaks and no lunch. His crew was polite, clean and wore matching polo shirts. Quote was exact? 3 men, plus Roger, total 6 hours. I provided $150 in gratuity. Wish it could have given more but moving expenses were piling up. When the movers at our final destination opened the trucks, we found our items neatly packed and in one piece. The only snag, and this is very minor, was I would have preferred to have two pieces wrapped... the weight machine and decorative Birchwood branches. The weight machine was rubbing up against the wheel of our bed frame making a black mark on the steel. A couple of the Birchwood branches broke at the tip; therefore I would have preferred them wrapped to keep them sturdy. These two items are miniscule compared to the amount of work preformed. It is just a note to the customer to have items wrapped that you may take for granted. Finally, Roger was very good with providing advice on a rental truck provider, how to drive the trucks (considering this was our first time), what to look for and having his guys latch the auto transport when done. I am happy to say my husband (driver #1) and I, a friend (driver #2), two cats and one dog drove 23 hours (one stop for the night) with 2,400 sq. feet of stuff, and made it in one piece!
Description of Work: To wrap all furniture and load onto two 22 foot Penske moving trucks with auto transport. My husband and I drove two moving trucks with auto transport for a 1,400 mile move to Texas.

They were amazing. I would give them a top rating. They were willing to work with me and don't normally do cross country moves. They custom tailored the job just for what I needed. They were willing to discuss options and were very accessible. They were very fair priced. They was lower than some others, but was not the lowest. However, all of my items were really well wrapped, packaged, and loaded.

I cannot over-express my satisfaction with the company's performance. When they got to Durango, the city had just been buried by a major blizzard and they had to deal with it. They got my goods into the house through the snow with no problems and they exhibited good humor about the whole mess. No whining - they were great. It could have been real bad and I appreciate them for how nicely and efficiently they handled it.
Description of Work: Get Your Move On (Derek Greene) moved my household from Phoenix, AZ to Durango, CO. I did most of the packing but, although he was not required to under the deal, Derek help out when I didn't know what to do. They pad wrapped everything and then wrapped a plastic cling wrap over that to hold it in place. They also privided all boxes and packing materials.

Two men and a truck arrived on schedule, loaded the things too heavy for my wife and I to handle, and delivered them to our new home. The men worked hard, were very careful with our belongings, and had the whole job finished in two hours. They were very professional and courteous. We would use them again if the need arises.
Description of Work: They moved small amount of heavy furniture from our apartment to our new home 5 miles away.

They telephoned while they were on their way and arrived early. They walked through my home and garage and listened closely to my plans for what needed moving. They methodically followed my plan. They were very careful in laying down the pad and rugs - aligning all and smoothing out the rugs. I have never been so pleased - I've had the rugs for 25 yrs in various homes and no one has laid them down as this company did. They moved the furniture very carefully. They used a dolly to carry the heavy furniture. They pointed out hooking up problems of my computers and telephone that I had not thought about. I was very thankful for their help and thinking outside the box. They were attentive, followed instructions, and "gentlemanly" Thank you Get Your Move On LLC for a job well performed!
Description of Work: Unwrap and lay down 3 oriental rugs and 1 rug pad that were srored in my garage. They arrived punctually and went to work. They were very professional, wrapped all of our furniture, and carefully handled each piece. Everyone we dealt with was professional and great to work with. This was, by far, our best move ever. I would have no hesitation using this company again.
Description of Work: They moved us locally....from Scottsdale to Gold Canyon. The actual price was a little less than the estimate and we were thrilled with how well everything went.

Good. They always did what they said they would do, they were all professional and responsive. They mis-estimated the amount of household goods and ended up using two trucks instead of one, but they kept their word and got it all moved on the promised date with no extra cost to us. Breakage very minimal for a move of this size and they are handling, nothing major. They did overpack (too much paper) some items and underpacked others- I gave them a B in quality for the packing job they did. I am a hard grader. I would add that Derek and Roger Greene are conssumate gentlemen and professionals. My wife had surgery a couple weeks before they moved and they checked in to wish her a speedy recovery. I would use them again in a heartbeat simply because of these two and their staff, who are outstanding.
Description of Work: We hired them to move our entire household from Peoria, Az to Fort Collins, Co-954 mile move. We had four bedrooms of furniture.

They were okay. I thought they kind of bottlenecked the job; they said they would be fast but in my opinion they were not. They had one guy in the truck and two guys loading to the truck. All the stuff was out in front of the truck and one guy is loading it. I just think they could have done it quicker but they did a good job other than that. They came when they said they're going to come. When they billed me they tried to add another hour on to it. I would probably not use them in future.

Dear Angie's List Member, We are very sorry for the experience you had with us. I also apologize that we did not get a customer follow-up call to you the day after your move. That is my fault and I take responsibilty for that. Had I followed-up, I would have addressed these issues directly with you right away. We will be contacting you shortly to attempt to rectify the situation. We had one of our best crews there that day and I have spoken to each employee independently about your move. I also pulled your file with our call sheet from the conversation you had with Roger as well as your invoice. I would like to address the speed at which our movers work. We are firstly concerned with the condition and care of your belongings. We pad wrap each and every piece of furniture top, bottom and sides. We secure the blankets to the furniture with tape and/or shrinkwrap prior to loading them onto the truck. We remove these protective pads once your furniture has made it to the destination room in your new home. This at times, may seem to take longer to a customer as it is a bit of a procedure. However, looking back at the scarcity of damage and repairs our company causes, we are committed to our Pampered Wrapping Process. Please note that there is no mention of any damage on your move. We cannot control customers perceptions of the speed at which our movers work. We can employ movers who work hard and in a deliberate and efficient manner. This is not to say it is impossible that our movers simply had a bad day. That will happen from time to time as this is a very physically strenuous business. Being a mover myself, I certainly remember long weeks where fatique set in from time to time. We feel our virtually pristine review history with Angie's List, BBB, and other consumer groups are testament to our focus on customer service. To address your statement, “When they billed me they tried to add another hour on to it.” I looked at your signed invoice and the Start Time was listed at 8 AM and Completion Time was listed at 1 PM. It is my assumption that this was a simple mistake. I would like to add also that per your discussion with Roger, at the time you booked your move, he told you that based on your description of the move, the move should take about 5 to 7 hours. Actual time of the move was 5 hrs. The largest failure that I will learn from here is that I have to be more militant about customer follow-up calls. I am usually very good about calling the next day but when one slips through the cracks, we can lose a customer for life. Having moved 13 different times during military service, this was a joy! The movers were friendly and professional. The cost was about as close to the estimate you can get without being exact.

Our call was handled very professionally, we had furniture to pick up at 1 to 4 different stores. We were quoted a range of prices depending on the number of pick ups they had to do. Turned out to be only one pick up and the price came in under the lowest quote. Great service, our furniture arrived even a little earlier than we expected. Sure happy with our choice of movers...

Called and spoke with Roger to get pricing. He thoroughly explained all the charges and discounts and availability of possible dates for the move. When we knew the closing date, called Roger to set day and time. He was in the middle of a move, and said he'd call us that evening which he did.The guys arrived on time, went right to work, using care to wrap items that needed protection, and completed entire move in 4 hours. The workers were professional, efficient and courteous. We highly recommend this company, and would most definitley use again if needed.

Movers got there at 7:00 AM and was completed with the job by 9:45 AM. In this time they moved everything in my fully furnished second floor apartment and moved it 15 miles to my new single story home. They wrapped everything to protect it and placed everything in the room to which I wanted it in. All were very nice, trustworthy, and professional. I would not hesitate to use these guys over and over again. Ask them about their Monday Move Special. You'll be glad you didn't take this on yourself!

Please see the above note. What a great company! I had heard so many scarey stories about movers. These guys are pros and they are nice too. One of the movers said that the price was less than the estimate was because we were able to organize our small items into taped boxes. We also chose to move dishes, wall pictures and delicate things ourselves, although I am positive that this team could have done a really nice job.
Description of Work: The movers arrived ten minutes early and began to wrap furniture and secure dresser drawers right after assessing how to organize the move. The three men quickly loaded their truck with all of the items from my home. I boxed and taped small items so the truck was loaded in three and one-half hours. This was a move across town (35 miles). Once the movers arrived at the new address, furniture was carried in and placed in the correct rooms. Movers put beds together and noticed the labels for specific rooms. The job began at 7:00 and was completed by 2:30. The price was less than the original estimate.

The experience was great. Derek, the owner, was very polite and very responsive to all my questions, phone calls, emails and requests. Although he was dressed casually (like a mover, of course!) for the estimate, he was very professional, thorough, friendly and efficient. And very nice! He let us know a day or 2 before the move, as promised, who our movers would be, and provided bios of each one. They took most of one day to pack (as I said, we had A LOT of stuff) and most of one day to move. The moving team was friendly, organized, upbeat and nice to have around. Each was take charge and could answer our questions. They were efficient and very careful; nothing was broken, nothing was lost. After the move, Derek followed up to make sure we were happy. And then a month or so later, we got another communication from them to make sure we were still happy. We were! I'd highly recommend this company for their professionalism, friendliness, and care.
Description of Work: This was a downsize move from a 3,000 square foot house to a 1,000 square foot condo. Although we ended up moving lots more than would fit into 1,000 square feet.

Everything from the estimate to the move went smoothly and made the whole moving experience much easier. Owner Derek Greene arrived to survey our apartment and quickly gave us a detailed estimate that was very reasonable. On moving day, a fun and courteous crew of three arrived and had everything pad wrapped, organized, loaded and unloaded in about 5-6 hours. I'd highly recommend this company to anyone. The pads they use to wrap the furniture protect everything nicely, too.
Description of Work: They moved us out of our 1200 square foot, 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment and into our house (4 miles away).

It went great from start to finish. We followed their recommendations and they did all that was promised, packing, moving, storage and return. The wrapped some antiques that we stored in our garage. They wrapped them, boxed where necessary and moved them all very well.
Description of Work: They were just great. They packed a lot of glass and antique dishes and pictures with care. They stayed on the bid even though they ran over on time a bit. They were nice, prompt. I would definitely recommend them and move with them again. We had an odd kind of move (packing up for carpet and paint and then storage for a month). They worked with us on that and were very responsive.

It went well. They were careful, polite, actually kind of quiet. They showed when they said they would. It took about the time that was quoted. Most of the time we expect a quote to run over, not here. My only regret is that we did not pack all of our small stuff into boxes and have them move that too. They did in 3 hours what would have run us 3 evenings. We were both very pleased, and have/will recommend them to others.
