Three guys and a truck showed up 5 minutes early to our scheduled time - perfect! The guys, Ben, Jose and Manny were delightful and lighthearted. They almost made the move a fun thing. I have had other movers in the past from other companies that hated their job, hated me and hated my furniture. These guys were efficient, quick, careful and clean. The cost was a little higher than I had anticipated - but they do take extra care to wrap everything well. They come well stocked with everything they could need. Overall, I could not fault the price. It was a fair price for a job well done. No wonder they are rated tops on Angieslist!!

We decided to use Get Your Move On based on reviews listed on here and a recommendation from another person that recently used them. Initially, I was a bit worried since they were 15 minutes late because the truck required gas. The rest of the move was perfect except for an issue with the elevators that required extra time for the move. Even with that setback the guys immediately started using the stairs until the elevators were functioning again. They really do care about pleasing the customer even when there are roadblocks. The final price was in the range originally quoted. I highly recommend Get Your Move On.

The estimate went extremely well. It is clear that Roger has a lot of experience in this business. He quickly went around the house and got an idea of how much space all would take. He offered various options to lower the cost of our move and was flexible on the schedule, leaving time for us to travel to the destination by car and be ready for their arrival. Based on the estimate and professionalism, I would feel comfortable using their service for any type of residential move.

I chose this company based on their positive reviews on this site. My experience was a bit rocky and I had originally given them a poor review, but as soon as the owners read it they contacted me immediately and wanted to address all of my concerns. And indeed they did -- quickly and professionally. This company does stand behind its work, and in the end I am satisfied with how things turned out.

The moving crew themselves were fantastic. They were on time, super fast and packed their truck just as fast. They did bring too small of a truck and ended up having to call in a 2nd truck with 2 extra movers which we were charged for. The original estimate of $700 jumped to $1500. Tried to explain to the gentleman who took our request that we had a ton of stuff but he insisted the truck size would be fine. Once we got to our new house they unloaded super fast. Some of the boxes didn't make it to the correct location. Not sure if they were trying to unload so fast so we wouldn't get charged another hour or they got lazy? Overall the crew was amazing but I'm not sure I would use them again just because of the resulting cost and underestimating the truck size. Derek reached out to us after hearing of our dissatisfaction with the under-estimate of our move and refunded us a portion of our payment within a few days of speaking with him. We are extremely grateful for his responsiveness and the partial refund. He was very pleasant to work with and because of his response we will definitely be considering his company in the future.

The movers we used were too tired and too nervous to move this heavy piece and simply left it in the garage. I called Roger, and he came out to look at the armoire and our staircase and was very confident that he would get the piece upstairs. He came as scheduled with his helpers and they did a great job.

I wanted a small moving company and didn't need a cross-country mover. The crew was first rate. They were really good guys. They were nice, very careful and very thorough. They really took time to get things right. My issue was with the estimator. He had estimated $1500-1700 if I packed most of the things myself. I did and I packed like crazy. I had most of the house done so that when the guys came to pack they didn't even have half a day's work but the when I got the bill it was still $2,200. He way underestimated it and he is one of the principal's of the company. That kind of ticked me off. It was one-third the cost of the move from the estimate. The estimator should have been experienced and he did a terrible job but the actual movers were very good. The price was very reasonable. They wrapped and unwrapped all the furniture and they were very good about putting things where I wanted them. They also helped put a motorcycle on the truck. I wouldn?t have worried about the price if he hadn?t quoted it lower. They sent me an email the day before introducing the crew and they were very punctual. I can?t say enough about the actual crew. I think I would use them again. I would just grill them about the price. I don?t think I ever received the estimate in writing.

It was great. It as a little pricier than we expected but they did a fantastic job.

Overall, this was very positive experience. One of the 5-man crew did not show up for some reason (other guys said he was usually very reliable...) so they called a backup guy who showed up about an hour later. Not ideal, but these things happen, and I thought they handled it well. The workers were great - they hustled, were polite and professional, and careful with our belongings. There were a couple of incidences of minor damage, which, to some extent, is to be expected whenever there's a move, but these incidences kept me from giving them a "5" for quality. Overall, however, I was pleased with this work, would definitely use them again, and can recommend them without reservation.

They were exceptional. They communicated when they would arrive, were very careful with the furniture, and were very professional. I will definately hire them again.

I couldn't be happier with the move! This is the first time I have used professional movers and would absolutely use Get Your Move On again in the future. Even though this company is on the higher end of the price range, I choose them because of their rave reviews and fantastic customer service. Roger originally visited my home for an accurate estimate. His prediction of needing 2 trucks and 4 guys was spot on considering all of the "crap" I had to move. Prior to the move, communication and confirmations were sent to me. This eased my stress for the upcoming "big day". On moving day, the 4 guys showed up about 15 minutes early and were eager to get to work. They all introduced themselves and had very positive attitudes. Throughout the move, I was blown away with the amount of energy these guys had. It really made me feel out of shape trying to keep up with them. The entire move, from start to finish (unloading at the new house) took around 9-10 hours. They took IMMACULATE care of my stuff. They wrapped and unwrapped furniture even better than I think I would do it myself. I would definitely use them again in the future!

These guys are amazing! Roger came out to the house to survey what needed to be move and provided a quote of $800 to $1000 for a four man crew and a truck. He offered a few suggestions of easy things I could do myself to help keep the cost down. The guys arrived 5 minutes before the scheduled time on move day. Each one introduced themselves and toured the house to survey the items to be moved. They went to work immediately working non-stop. The house was empty in what seemed like no time. They drove directly to the new house and proceeded to unload putting everything in the place we selected including relocating several items when we changed our mind. The crew was very professional and seemed to enjoy working with eachother. The final bill came in at the low end of the estimate. It was a very pleasant experience. I would recommended them without reservation.

Roger and his team did a great job. Roger came to the house a couple of weeks ago to provide an estimate. Yesterday they arrivied on time, loaded and unloaded carefully, and were patient with moving the furniture into place for me. My piano arrived in perfect condition too. I was happy with the professionalism of the team.

Move went extremely well. Personnel were on time, personable, very professional. Antiques were packed with extreme care. All furniture as well as other item were handled with extreme care. At destination large items were placed in designated location. Areas were picked up and cleaned at the completion of the move. Would use the company for any other local moves.

Excellent. Communication was great from the first call to even after it was done they asked us for a survey. Very customer oriented.

They were amazing! Courteous, professional, friendly and fun! I couldn't recommend them more highly! The price was very reasonable and adding the additional man and coming early (8:00 a.m.) got the job done very efficently in the summer heat. Great job guys!

I'm a weakling, not strong at all, so I hired GYMO to help me move my heavy furniture out of my one-bedroom, *third-story* apartment. Roger signed me up for two guys and one truck. They showed up on time and greeted me with a smile, even though I was still pretty groggy at 7am. I gave them a tour of my place, and they got right to work, not a moment's hesitation. The highlight of my morning was watching one of the guys give my huge wingback chair a big bear hug, lift the chair, and trot out the door. I couldn't believe it! A process that took me an entire day to move in, only 2 hours to move out. That's everything, getting everything out, loading the truck, and moving into the house. 2 hours! I'm so impressed! I'm definitely calling them again!

We have had HORRIFIC moving experiences with our two other moves over the years. Get Your Move On IS PHENOMENAL! When I first phoned Derek and told him of past experiences he said, "your best move is still ahead of you." He was correct! Five guys were there 5-10 minutes EARLY. They were ALL extremely professional and friendly and respectful of our things. Very, very, very, good experience, and I cannot recommend them more highly.

Ron and Robert arrived and looked over the furniture that had to be moved and proceeded to wrap and tape all items. They were professional and very pleasant. We both arrived at the house in Chino Valley at the same time & they unloaded and set up the bed set. Also helped me unload my car! They were very helpful! I would use this company in a heart beat! In fact I have alread recommended them to a friend in Phoenix.

Very well considering outside temperature was 107 degrees. The movers were professional as well as being extremely polite and respectful. Scheduled for 7AM arrival, and the 2 trucks arrived on the dot. We have not yet found anything broken during the move and don't really expect to. We gave each mover a well-deserved gratuity to express our thanks for their caring service. The items that they packed were very well protected as well. Received a follow-up call from the boss the next day to make sure we were satisfied with the service. Roger and his movers did not disappoint. Highly recommend this company.

The crew arrived exactily on time, introduced themselves and toured the condo with me, determining what had to be moved. All the furniture was quilt wrapped prior to moving and the boxes and storage units carefully moved. At the destination, the furniture and boxes were placed exactly where I requested. At the end of the move one of the crew went around with me to determine if there was anything that had to be re-positioned. The crew cleaned up after they were through at both locations. There was no damage to anything during the move. Also, the move was completed in less time than I had budgeted for. Everyone on the crew was polite and helpful. I am very glad I used this company for my move and would certainly recommend them for anyone making a local move within the Phoenix metropolitan area.

I've employed a lot of movers over the years, but never have I had a more positive and fun experience than I did with Get Your Move On. Pablo, Ben, Marcos and Jose showed up on time, smiles on their faces and ready to go to work. These guys knew what they were doing, Incredibly attentive to detail and took great care in all they did. All the furniture was shrink-wrapped and then padded. All boxes were packed securely, marked for contents, and what piece of furniture and what room the contents came from. Mirrors, artwork, anything that looked even remotely fragile was wrapped and padded The first couple of hours the crew was packing things up, then Ben and Marcos headed to the truck to begin loading while Pablo and Jose finished packing and then began shuttling stuff down to Ben and Marcos. Very, very efficient. We had a blast talking and joking around all day, but they never stopped working. It was obvious these guys love what they do, work incredibly well together, and get along like good friends. When the truck was packed and ready to go, we headed off to the storage unit and within 90 minutes the unit was filled, everything organized and neatly stacked. I've had two other moving companies unload and load this same storage unit and it was always just putting stuff in and taking stuff out. No rhyme or reason. Just get it in and get it out. Get Your Move On's crew, like everything else they did, took great care so that the next time my daughter is ready to move, the moving company that moves her will have a lot of its work already done. They'll know exactly what goes where, and if they pay attention to how everything was packed into the storage unit, packing the truck will be a breeze. Of course, when that next move comes Get Your Move On will be the company I hire. And as long as I'm in the Valley they are the ONLY company I will ever hire. I cannot give these guys high enough marks. They're A+ in my book. The quote was $1,200, and that was based on 24 total man-hours, the truck, the trip charge, boxes of all shapes and sizes, all packing materials, physical packing, moving and unloading. It ended up being a total of 26 total man-hours and more materials than originally anticipated. The final bill was $1,200. Again, cannot say enough good things about these guys. I found them Angie's List, liked what I read, and hoped those customers before me were right. They were. BIG TIME! Roger and Derek, you deserve to be proud of your company. Everything you told me during the quote process that would be done, was done, and then some. Thanks, guys, we'll have to do it again some time. Just not too soon. :-)

Guys showed up on time; they were neat and well mannered. They loaded the truck quickly; wrapping and protecting furniture as they went. The unpacking went smoothly. They assembled some furniture for me. Moving is stressful, but these guys were great.

In the past I have had horrible moving experiences so I was very apprehensive about this move. Roger assured me they would do a good job for me and he and his crew came through with flying colors. The initial estimate was for approximately a half day but in actuality, it turned out to be longer. However, I have a ton of boxes that made up a big part of the move so I wasn't surprised it took longer than anticipated. I'll reiterate by saying the guys were great -- never once complaining about anything -- and were very professional, hardworking as well as being very good natured thereby making my move less stressful. Thanks so much for a great job!

Well, for starters my story is not yet complete. There was some damage sustained to 1 appliance during the move, but these guys are an A+ company. I was sent an e-mail the day prior to my move which included the photos and a brief bio of all the movers scheduled to enter my home the following day (top notch decision whoever thought of that idea, and safe for customers). I also received a confirmation phone call of my appt. On the rainy day of the move, the guys were running late, but that's totally acceptable under the circumstances, and most importantly they called well in advance of my appointment to let me know. When they arrived, they were all professional, polite, upbeat, energetic, & happy guys. They assessed the job at hand, and immediately got started. My only issue during the move was that my stainless steel refrigerator was scratched in the process, but Roger came out personally to assess the damage, and Derek called that afternoon. Though I am awaiting to have the damage corrected, Derek has been diligent in remaining in contact with me and assures me that the issue will be resolved to my satisfaction. I would recommend this company.
