Frost Appliance

Washer would not spin. I called at 8 AM. The dispatcher was personable, thorough and quick. The repairman, Mickey, was at my home by 8:15. Very nice guy, also quick, thorough and personable. He found the problem, repaired it, and was on his way by 8:30. Excellent experience.

From the person on the phone till the bill was paid the experience was great. They came out next day (Sat no extra charge) between the times they said. They called ahead to say they were on the way. They tried to repair the fan motor that blows the cold air from the freezer to the main compartment - didn't work. They had the needed motor on the truck They DID NOT charge extra for a service charge. The cost of the repair was it. They also said, if they couldn't fix it they wouldn't charge either. If you decided to not repair the appliance then they would charge a service call. This was was cheaper than others I had called. Guy was friendly and efficient and went up and down the stairs (2nd floor condo) many times. Was done and fixed in no time and he was on his way. I would definitely call him again for anything! Wish all service people were on time and efficient as they were.

They came out on time and fixed it the first time which was exactly what I wanted and that's what happened.

The repair person called ahead to say he was coming. I called the office the day before and they came out the next day. He arrived and was very courteous. The office had already mentioned what the solution to my problem was and quoted me the approximate cost of repair. The repair guy knew exactly what it was and also confirmed the Office person's solution. He repaired it and told me how to check for leakages. He cleaned up the mess.

We were very pleased with them. They did an excellent job. We had used them two other times previously. They just seem to be very honest; that's the most important thing. I definitely would recommend them. We would have them back again whenever we have problems with an appliance. Their price is fair.

Our refrigerator/freezer was not cooling properly. Technician was efficient, professional, and knowledgeable. Our compressor needed to be replaced to fix the issue. We decided to just replace it with a new one rather than fix the old. We appreciated the honest feedback and will be calling Frost if any of our other appliances need service.

They had to order the repair of the part from Chicago it took about 2 weeks.

Technician was very professional, as well as being a pleasant person. Took a look at the refrigerator, diagnosed the problem, and advised me this 10 year old Maytag was not worth investing hundreds of dollars to repair. He did not even charge me a service call. I later went out and purchased a new appliance. This is an honest company, with honest employees. I read the reviews before calling, and am glad I did, as my experience with Frost was very similar with many others and their positive experience.

Diagnosis was done based on my call - he brought the right part; ontime; friendly; professional. Got it done when he said he would quickly and efficiently.

I loved their service. I referred them to my daughter after this and they did an excellent job on that as well. The price was good, they were on time, and they were honest as well. He just charged for the service call. He took the washing machine apart and he let me know the issue with the washer would happen from time to time but it was not an emergency, he let me know on the dryer that someone needed to clean my dryer vents and that would solve that issue as well.

I especially liked dealing with the serviceman that they sent out - and he came out on a Saturday and there was no extra charge. I was very pleased with |Frost Appliance.

They told me I could get service same day when I called an hour later because of no call backs was told they were closed - when they did open they wanted to schedule me for the next week and made a rude comment about the fact it was 1230 when I called n they left a message at 1030 - guess they are the only ones that work!

I talked to two people from this company: the phone operator/scheduler and the repairman. Both were professional and courteous. The repairman was very thorough in explaining the problem, the fix, and potential futures issues and solutions. My only minor complaint was that I was given a pretty big window of when the repairman would show up and was told that I would get a call when he was near. But, I didn't get that call and when I called in to get an ETA, I was then told that he was on his way. The highlight of this interaction was that they were able to tell me what the fix would cost upfront. The other company I called could only say that there would be a service charge just to come out and then they'd figure out what to charge me.

They also replaced my cooktop controls.

They replaced a broken part on my refrigerator door. Then noticed the same part failing on the freezer door and repaired that as well. | |I really appreciated their courteous, prompt return of my Saturday call & scheduling of service. The service was also prompt and courteous. I will definitely call them again If I need appliance repair.

Called in the a.m. and was told that he would call me back when he knew the time. I figured it would be awhile if at all. I received that call and was told 20 to 30 minutes . Jim arrived and was very nice as well as getting right to the job. He found the problem and repaired it. We thought it was the compressor but thank goodness it wasn't . Jim could have told me that and I would not have known the difference. My husband and I are very pleased with Frost and would not only use them again if needed but would recommend them to friends. Thank you Frost Appliance and Jim.

This is the second time I have used Frost Appliance to repair an appliance. The ice maker on my 10 year old refrigerator was not making ice. I had exhausted all of the trouble shooting to no avail. I called Frost Appliance and received a very timely appointment--two days later from my call. The scheduler was very nice as well. The service technician (the owner himself) called about 20 minutes ahead of schedule to confirm he was on the way. He arrived and went right to work diagnosing the problem. In less than an hour, the problem was diagnosed and repairs made. One of the parts had to come from another truck and that was quickly arranged. The repair cost was reasonable. This company came through again with a repair that was efficient and without drama. I have a full ice bin! I would call this company again for any appliance repair.

Was able to schedule service for the next day. Called before tech arrived at my home. Showed up early within the scheduled time window. Wore a uniform and introduced himself. Was professional and efficient. Explained what he did. I would not hesitate to call Frost's for other appliance service and highly recommend them.

The technician who I believe was the owner, was great! It was the best service experience I have ever had.

They provided excellent service and the dryer has been working fine since the repair.

After assessing the problem, the technician's advice was to buy a new washer. He was more concerned about what was best for me and not so much about convincing me to order expensive parts and waiting to get them or paying so much for labor etc. He also insisted that because we ultimately didn't fix the problem, and I had a bigger purchase to make, that I wasn't to be charged for the service. What a fantastic company that will allow their techs to truly look out for their customers interests. I will not hesitate to use Frost Appliances again. I didn't know they actually had companies that were held to such a great standard. I am so glad I found them on Angie's List.

On time, polite, good work.

They were top, and good people. I would highly recommend them. I think we would even go there just for parts, and everything worked out great.
