Description of Work: My refrigerator started making a loud noise and getting hot on the inside door panel. I found Frost Appliance on Angie's list and Chad, whom I talked to, was very informative.We scheduled a meeting for a few days afterwards. Chad was prompt, courteous, friendly and diagnosed the problem immediately. The fan blade had come off and all the refrigerator needed was it reapplied. All I was charged was the service call. I would definitely use this company again in the future.

Description of Work: Our 7 year old front loading washer would not spin. The repairman evaluated it and based on discussion wiht him we decided to replace the machine. As a result he did not charge us. I wish I could remember his name so you could request him personally.

Description of Work: I called about getting my ice marker fix, they ask what was wrong with it and they told me just try restarting it and it worked. I have been without a ice marker for years because the last repair said the part to fix it was $300.00. Over 2 years with out an ice marker and all I had to do was turn it back on!

Description of Work: The latch on the door of my dishwasher was broken and needed replacement. The repairman was prompt and polite and did the job required. He also answered all my questions and cleaned up any mess generated. I would definately use Frost's again.

Description of Work: They tried to fix the problem for free over the phone, then followed up to see how that was going. That did correct the problem temporarily and When they did come out after we asked for more assistance, they fixed the problem (unusual problem for a very fair price at like $100 or a hair more.) Perfectly pleased and they are in my cell phone contacts now.

Description of Work: My refrigerator stopped cooling while I was out of town for a long weekend. I was fully expecting to have to purchase a new refrigerator. I found Frost on AL and chose the, based on their close proximity to my house and the mostly positive reviews. I didn't get a chance to contact them until the following Friday, but they were able to put me on the schedule for Saturday morning for a repair estimate. The technician called me at 7:30 the morning of to inform me that he would be at my house by 8. He arrived right at 8 and quickly got to work. The issue was identified within about 5 minutes, he had the part handy, and the repair was finished in another 10 minutes, totaling 20 minutes from the time he arrived until the time he left. My refrigerator has worked perfectly since the. I will definitely be using Frost in the future.

Description of Work: Last week I called Frost Appliances regarding a problem with our washing machine.. The technician was on time and tore apart the washer. He stated he could find nothing wrong with the washer and felt the problem was a "one time" thing. He then said that since he didn't fix anything, there would be NO CHARGE for the trip. Subsequent uses of the washer proved him correct as the problem did not recur. This was our first use of Frost Appliances; it won't be the last.

Description of Work: Frost appliance was called to repair an old 1996 Kitchenaid dishwasher Due to the custom install, we elected to repair rather than replace. The diagnosis was either the computer board or keypad. The technician Chad replaced one hoping to save me money but Murphys law prevailed. Chad ordered the other part and installed it without additional service charges. The price was far less than dishwasher replacement this is a great.company with great service!

Description of Work: The serviceman came out to evaluate the spin cycle of my washing machine, which is not functioning properly. He arrived promptly, spent about 1/2 hour evaluating the machine and explained the possible causes of the problem. He gave me estimates for repair and did not try a hard sell. I would use them again. Unfortunately, the solution was unclear and I chose to think about it, rather than spending over $180 for a repair that would not even solve the problem.He was OK with that.

Description of Work: My KitchenAIde dishwasher input pump (motor) went out on Thursday evening after eight years of faithful, daily service. Called Frost Friday at 7:30AM when they opened, described problem, Jim diagnosed it over the phone, came by at 12:30 with the parts and installed new motor in less than 1 hour. Replaced very noisy hinges on machine's door during same visit. Machine works like new and, like when new, is totally silent again. Prompt, professional, extremely helpful, clean, reasonable.......what more can I say. Frost has my appliance repair business from here on out and I highly recommend them. I'm a new Angie's Lister. This was my first referral. My satisfaction with this experience paid for my membership!

Description of Work: My ancient Whirlpool washer died in the middle of laundry day leaving me with a tub of soggy clothes in soapy water. I found Frost on Angie's List and called them. The service technician, Jim, was just getting ready to leave for afternoon calls and was able to stop by my house on the way to his first scheduled call. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than 1/2 hour!

Description of Work: My dryer stopped working on New Year's Eve. I called in the morning on New Years and was told that Frost had a tech on call that day. They took my information and said someone would call me. I never received a call.
