Frost Appliance

Highly reccommend. Never did business with them before, but had great reviews here on Angies List. Great experience from beginning to end. Lady on the phone that I spoke with was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to see me the next day (as I called late in the afternoon). Repair person arrived on time, called first, and couldn't have been better. He did the diagnosis, identified the problem and took care of the issue. Experience couldn't have been better (unless my refrigerator would have started working by itself). Thanks Frost. Will definitely call again.

Like everything else you get what you pay for. The repair person was professional, competent and helpful. He even provided some extremely helpful tips on future needs for this appliance, including some ways to avoid higher costs.

They fixed my Thermador Range. He diagnosed it and fixed it as soon as he possibly could. Did not expect payment until the parts were in and installed. Very very nice repairman. I was very happy and had looked at many appliance repair companies and they all seemed shady. This company was awesome.

Chad was very professional and courtious, came at the time specified fixed my fridge and dryer, was told how much it would be and why the parts were replaced and showed me the old parts and explained the reason.

The people answering the phone were extremely polite, patient and knowledgeable. ( I called several times and spoke to a number of people before solidifying the appointment.) The technician was so fast and excellent. He was in and out within an hour and probably would have been done in half an hour had I not been bothering him. He, too, was professional, polite, patient and smart. I have already recommended Frost as the experience was nothing but favorable.

We live in Fountain Hills, Az. we just called them for service and they wll not come to this area.

We called the other company..they came out at exactly the time they said they would...fixed the dryer...and were economically well priced!!

We called Frost Appliance b/c we were having trouble with a switch on our drier. We choose Frost b/c of the high ratings on Angie's List. The employee was able to explain over the phone a solution, which worked. The employee was very friendly and helpful. When we need appliance service in the future, we will definetly go with them. We appreciate their honesty and helpfulness.

Freezer was not working properly. Technition came out and said ti was likely was the compressor. When he returned on Monday, he discovered the machine had stopped turning off and on completely. So he installed a new te4mmmperature control device and my refrigerator works just fine.

Chad came out and immediately knew the problem. This particular brand is not being made anymore so they had to call the manufacturer that bought out the model and found part. Called me prior to ordering it, since it was expensive and will call once part is in to schedule appointment. Very prompt, trustworthy. I have used them for problems also with my washer. Excellent service. I will always go to them with appliance problems.

While the repairman was prompt and did complete the job, he was very careless with the parts and his equipment. He dropped a number of items on my countertop and ceramic floor with no regard for my property. He also did not rinse out the icemaker of debri before installing it. I felt at times he was not completely sure about what he was doing and he never referred to the instructions that were included in the box. So far the icemaker is still functioning. On a positive note, he was helpful in providing advice on another part that needs to be replaced that he did not carry. The price was also slightly higher than what I was quoted over the phone.

!Wow! I called Frost Appliance for help with my oven. I thought it wasn't heating and holding the temperature properly. I described what it was doing and it sounded like it needed a new circuit board (part cost $380.). As we talked about it, we realized that the oven was just performing differently than ovens I have had in the past and that I wasn't giving my oven thermometer (that I was using to judge it) enough time to register the temperature changes. He could have easily sold me the part and repair because I believed the problem was the oven. Instead, he spent over 1/2 hour checking it and explaining it to me AND would not even accept payment for a service call!!!!! WOW!! I haven't had service like that for decades! I will certainly call them for appliance repair again! I cannot recommend them highly enough! They were amazing!

They actually didn't get it fixed. But he was very nice. He was very upfront with the recommendation and so far, the fridge was still going anyway.

Chad, the service technician, was always very polite, prompt, answered all my questions & called 15 minutes before arrival every time. Frost Appliance sent a follow up letter with a $10 off coupon for next repair. I would for certain use them again.

They had to come out three times to get it fixed but they were finally able to figure it all out. Overall it went pretty well since they were able to fix it.

I contacted Frost Appliance for an appointment and it was scheduled on the first contact. Per our agreement the repair was arranged for the afternoon, with a call from the technician prior to arrival. Jim is the technician and business owner. He is always prompt and communicative. (I have used his service twice) With regard to the problem, Jim indentified the dysfunctional part right away and had the new part with him to replace it. The washer was tested immediately after repair and continues working well. He doesn't try to upsale or replace parts that are not failing. In fact, after my first service call I was mailed a loyalty discount coupon for my next service. Works for me!

I called Frost's to set up an appointment for my front load washer. It had been overloaded and damage occured during the spin cycle. The washer continued working, but would 'jump around' during the spin cycle. I told them on the phone what had happened and asked if they had any ideas as to what could be the problem. The representative said it could be a broken spring or washer tub. He estimated the price range from $200 to $700. I set up the appointment.When the repairman came out, he immediately found the problem. He said that I had broken a shock. There are four shocks in the machine. He said that three were in good shape. He then quoted me the price. He ran a quick two minute cycle to check it out. I appreciate their honesty and integrity.

The technician arrived, removed the back panel inside the refrigerator, diagnosed the issue as a leaking hose supplying water to the ice maker. The water had leaked down the back wall of the freezer section and as the water built up and froze the freezer fan motor would catch the ice making an extremely loud noise, something akin to a playing card on the spokes of a bicycle only much louder. The technician assured both my wife and myself that there was no way we could have prevented this, he replaced the pipe which ran through the back wall of the freezer supplying the water to the ice maker.

Initial visit went well, parts order took 3 days, quick install upon receipt.

Excellent service! The repairman called me twenty minutes before arriving to let me know he was on his way. He immediately identified the problem, which was with the position of the water line -- water from the sink was backing up into the dishwasher because the line wasn't in the correct position. He rerouted the line and the only cost was the service charge.

Our dryer quit working on a Thursday and I finally got around to getting service scheduled on Friday. I was going to go through Whirlpool's repair site but they were backed up for a week. So I called Frost and they could get me in on Monday. The repair man was prompt and on time. He called when he was on his way. When he got here he figured out the heating element was bad. He had one on his truck so he replaced the element and also shortened our dryer vent so the dryer would be more efficient. Our dryer is working better then ever. I will call them again if I need any other work done.

From the very first contact this was a favorable experience. the woman who answered the phone was cheerful and polite. I was told the service man would call the next day at 8 AM to let me know when he would be at the house , not a 4 hour windowAt 8 AM the service man called and told me I would be his second stop and ti would between 9 and 10The service man arrived at 9:15. He tested the elctrical to verify that the heater was working then set out to find the root cause of the problem which turned out to be a small piece of paper had clogged the filter in the spray arm cause limited water to be passed to the spray arm. He then ran the maching to verify the actual temperature of the water and that water was getting to all four corners of the baskets All in all a very favorable experience at a very reasonalble price

Outstanding. I selected these folk because of their reviews (my first use of the List) and I'm so glad I did. Chad listened to the noise and within 30 seconds told me, sorry, nothing we can do, it's a design defect with these (GE) dishwashers that he and his colleagues had been unable to repair - and they had tried everything. He said he wouldn't charge us because he couldn't fix it and then gave us advice on buying a dishwasher that would actually work and could be repaired. He was honest and direct, and although we couldn't use him to do an actual job this time, we now have an appliance repairman and company for life. I was very impressed with his straightforward professionalism.

When I called Cindy to schedule the drainage hose on my washer actually had a hole in it and was leaking all over. Initially it was going to be a couple days before Jim could be at my home. I expressed some concern about it taking two days but said okay. Within about 10 minutes Cindy called back and moved some things around and was able to get me in the next day. Jim the owner arrived on time and got right to work. He replaced the hose on the washer and connected the water to a new refrigerator. He performed some trouble shooting on the dryer timer but in the end it needed to be replaced. Jim called the next day with the part cost and installation cost. He returned after the aprt arrived and installed. Everything works great and Jim was a pleasure to meet and did great work.

Excellent service from start to finish, beginning with the initial telephone contact with the courteous and helpful woman who answered the phone. Response time was very quick and the technician Chad was knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful. I would definitely use their service again!
