Punctual, efficient and effective. Follow-up visits were always as scheduled and didn't require anyone being in the home. I'm thrilled to say they did an excellent job with the rat problem on my property and there is now no longer any sign of the problem. In all, 4 rats were found.

My wife and I moved into a house that had been vacant for several years. Two weeks after we moved in, we noticed that desert rats were active in one part of the house. The level of activity was very noisy and disturbing, and the house is very large so we imagined the worst. Since we simply did not know the extent of the problem, we decided to turn to professionals for help. Critter Ridders performed this service flawlessly. After calling them on a Friday morning, they sent Jason out that very day to do an assessment or rodent activity on and near the house. After taking me with him for his assessment, which included the rooftop, the area where the pool equipment is located toward the back of the house, and around the entire property, Jason explained to me what Critter Ridder could do for us and how much it would cost. We were eager to have these unwelcome pests removed and liked the approach Critter Ridder presented: two to three weeks of baits and traps to catch all the offending rodents, inspections of the baits and removal of rodents caught in the traps during this time, and a final plugging up of every hole and other area where rodents could enter the house. After the assessment on Friday, they came out Monday morning to lay the traps on the rooftop and around the house. The first week was remarkable in the number of rodents they caught. We noticed a dramatic decrease in activity thereafter. Following another two weeks of bait/trap monitoring and dead rodent removal (about 6-7 rodents in all were removed by my count), they showed up the day before Thanksgiving for the final check, they spent about 2-3 hours plugging up the vent access points on the roof and all around the house. This involved using drilling a metallic mesh onto the vent access points on the roof, (apparently a favorite entry point for the rodents), using mortar to fill in gaps between the ground and the home's foundation all around the house, filling in holes around pipes near the garage and elsewhere as well as around the pool equipment area with some sort of hole-filling solid foamy material (they even managed to color-coordinate it with the existing house color), and covering various wiring (which had previously been chewed through) with mesh, On top of that, the work came with a 2-year warranty so that if rodents ever do make an unwelcome appearance again, they pledge to come out to take care of the problem within the 2-year warranty period at no additional cost. The employees who showed up were always very knowledgeable about the problem and really set my mind at ease from the first moment they appeared. As a result of my experience, I have already recommended Critter Ridder to others who have had similar problems.
