Description of Work: AC died in June. Home Warranty firmed uses this contractor. During the period of high temperatures a no air the contractor worked hard to get the equipment and install. | |However, after equipment was installed, I had to call to get things done the in my opinion were not up to standard. It took several calls to get anyone back out. Times were promised, but not follow up. | |Good intentions but not good follow up.

Description of Work: I used this provider through my home warranty company. The tech was prompt and cordial. The heater wasn't working and I guess the air handler blew a couple fuses. He replaced them and it was working again. I'm happy with the service.

 + -1 moreTHEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME WHEN THEY CAME OUT BECAUSE THERE WASN'T ANYTHING SPECIFICALLY WRONG. THEY RECOMMENDED THAT THE UNITS BE REPLACED DUE TO THEIR CONDITION & AGE, BUT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG AT THIS TIME. WE HAVE HIRED THEM TO COME OUT & REPLACE BOTH OF OUR UNITS FOR A TOTAL OF $6611.
Description of Work: THEY CAME OUT & CHECKED OUR AIR CONDITIONER FOR PROBLEMS RELATED TO IT FREEZING UP.

 + -1 moreTHIS WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. MARVIN (THE OWNER) FAILED TO SHOW FOR 2 APPOINTMENTS FOR ESTIMATE--THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY CLUE. WHEN HE FINALLY CAME, I TOLD HIM WHAT I WANTED, HE SAID NO, LET US DO THIS. RELUCTANTLY I AGREED. DURING INSTALLATION THE TECHS WERE COMPLAINING ABOUT NOT GETTING PAID. AFTER SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED, THE THERMOSTAT HAD NO INSTRUCTIONS. FINALLY GOT THEM, THEN SYSTEM SEEMED OK. THE FIRST WINTER, I HAD GAS BILL OVER $200 A MONTH AT 76 DEGREES. WAY EXCESSIVE. FINALLY THEY CHANGED THERMOSTAT. STILL NOT RIGHT. MARVIN PERSONALLY MADE APPOINTMENTS THEN WOULDN'T SHOW. WE WERE PLACED ON NO-SERVICE ORDER PER OWNER MARVIN. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

 + -1 moreTHEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND RESPONSIVE. THEY ARRIVED AS SCHEDULED AND COMPLETED THE WORK QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. THEY ALSO EXPLAINED THE VARIOUS OPTIONS, COSTS AND OTHER EFFICIENCY TRADE-OFFS IN AN UNDERSTANDABLE WAY. THEY CLEANED UP AND REMOVED ALL DEBRIS.
Description of Work: THEY REMOVED THREE EXISTING TRANE HVAC UNITS AND AIR HANDLERS AND REPLACED WITH THREE NEW BRYANT PURON HVAC UNITS.

 + -1 moreTHE TECHNICIAN WHO CAME TO OUR HOME WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THINGS TO ME ABOUT OUR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM. SINCE HIS VISIT CONSOLIDATED MECHANICAL HAS CALLED ME 4 TIMES TO TRY TO SET UP A TIME TO COME CLEAN THE COILS. I HAVE ADVISED THEM THAT WHILE I APPRECIATE THAT THEY ARE ON TOP OF THINGS, I AM STILL ACCEPTING BIDS FROM OTHER COMPANIES FOR THAT JOB.
Description of Work: THE $35 WAS BECAUSE OUR HOME WARRANTY PEOPLE SET UP THE SERVICE. OUR AIR CONDITIONER WAS LEAKING WATER. BOTH CONDENSATION LINES WERE PLUGGED SO THE TECHNICIAN BLEW AIR THROUGH THE LINES. HE RECOMMENDED THAT OUR SYSTEM (EVAP COOL) NEEDED TO HAVE THE COILS REMOVED AND CHEMICALLY CLEANED. HOWEVER THIS WOULD NOT BE COVERED BY OUR HOME WARRANTY SO HE GAVE US A QUOTE OF $400 TO CLEAN IT.

Description of Work: THIS COMPANY HAS SERVICED MY HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS FOR DECADES. I HAVE 5 FURNACES AND 5 A/C UNITS. THEY ALSO INSTALL NEW EQUIPMENT WHEN NEEDED.
