Amazing. Very well done and inexpensive for the tasks performed.

Clarence came out and replaced two ceiling fans and the wall switches in those rooms. He also took down another ceiling fan and replaced it with a regular light fixture. Both Jacki and Clarence are very professional and responsive. Clarence will let you know what needs to be done and what's not necessary. We have more electrical updates upcoming with this house, and we wouldn't hesitate to use Read Electrical again.

The installation was quick and very neat. It looks like it was always there.

Clarence was on time, friendly and knowledgeable. He replaced my broken dimmer switch in record time and at a reasonable price. I have used his service before and will call him again for any future needs.

I am very pleased with the work that Read & Sons did. The SRP tech who came to reattach the meter and power the house up said this was a very good job of reattachment that he has seen. Plus it saved me $1700. Another estimate that I had got from a large firm that advertises on TV (AC/plumbing etc) was that much higher.

Clarence was professional, thorough, fast and efficient. He left the living room clean and nice when the job had been completed. No debris on the floor, exactly as promised. His wife, Jacki, was exceptionally helpful in terms of scheduling and addressing our questions before the installation. I am very pleased with the job and this company.

We were very pleased with Clarence and the whole experience working with him and his office person, Jackie. They were both very polite and very professional. Clarence was very clear about how he would do the work, and gave me options to consider, and then he did everything exactly like we discussed it. He was right on time when he started and he was right on the estimate when he finished. We plan to have him back for a second round of work.

The whole experience went very well. Clarence came the on scheduled time to give an estimate, price was really good and work was scheduled. Because of a cancellation, we were called to see if we wanted the work done sooner which we did. Work was scheduled for 7:30 am 11/29/17, Clarence was at the house at exactly 7:30 am, He worked quickly and professionally. No drywall patches were needed because of experience and know how. We would hire him again in a flash. It is a real pleasure to deal with such a polite, competent professional.

C Read & Sons were willing to visit and provide a free estimate (surprisingly, a lot of electrical companies charge for an estimate). Clarence gave me a range of options and reasonable prices, so I scheduled a date for the work to be done. He showed up on time, got the work done quickly, and was very professional. The price was quite reasonable (it included the hardware for the kitchen lights) and I am very happy with the results (both appearance and functionality). Will definitely hire them for any future electrical work.

Everything went great ... and as promised.

Clarence came out and viewed our home and gave us an estimate and put us on the schedule for May 8. I asked his wife Jackie ( she handles scheduling) to contact us if it could be bumped up - she called and was able to get us in on 4/20. Clarence came out, got the job done, no muss, no fuss. He had to cut drywall in two places, but put the small square patches back that he had to cut out to access wiring. He got done 30 minutes early and knocked $45 off the charge. We will definitely use him again.

Clarence and Jacki squeezed me into their schedule so we could get the issue fixed for tenants. Great job!

Mr Read discovered that we had a breaker unplugged, he plugged it in and everything in the yard worked! He offered to do something else for us since he was only there 5 minutes, so he replaced an outlet for us, free of charge. He charged us for the visit, only 45.

They didn't have time in their schedule to come and take care of a small job that we needed to get done today, but Jacki was very nice and helpful on the phone and recommended another small family business that she knows does good work.

We just needed a small electrical job. We were called back shortly after I left a message and the work was scheduled for a few days later. Mrs. Read called the day before to remind us of the appointment. Mr. Read showed up in the window of time he was scheduled, and was in and out quickly. Finding someone to come in and do a small job is not easy, we tried several people before calling C Read. Will definitely call them back next time we need work done. Wish we would have called him first!

Clarence came at the scheduled time, and after he had checked both bathrooms for power he went to the electric box and returned the switch to its correct position. It's a tight one and I simply hadn't been pushing it hard enough. He wasn't here long and did not charge me a full service call. I appreciated that, and I will definitely call them again.
