Attention to detail with his crew was absolutely amazing.After being in the military for 12 years I am very keen on attention to detail on jobs, especially one where I am spending so much money. Chris's crew was amazing, they worked with my wife (i was a work a majority of the time) on keeping paths open so that we could take out my 3 big and extremely annoying dogs to the use the bathroom.When I had questions regarding how they were laying out the wood plank tile Chris actually had his guys walk my wife through it so we knew exactly what they were doing and how they were laying the tile to make it look it's best. of the entire project the shower they put in was by far the most labor intensive and time consuming took almost a full 2 weeks, which is fine, I would rather it be done correctly at a slow pace than incorrectly and completed early. They even came in on saturaday and volunteered to work Sunday to finish the job. I have got to say that in spending so much money i was very nervous on hiring the correct contractor that wouldn't take shortcuts and I have got to say I am glad that I a chose C & L tile. They are busy and now know why, but most definitly worth the wait if you want your tile job done correctly and professionaly. The cost above does not include the tile, I purchased that myself which overall was around 2500. I would highly recommend C & L tile and I will use them for any future projects. Excellent bid process, reasonable price, arrived at appointed date and time. Professional & considerate workmen, with emphasis on cleanliness. Removal of old tile and installation of new went w/o a hitch. Completed job looks great. Would recommend and use again w/o question

The owner Chris gave us a complimentary consultation, for various tile projects I will be doing: removal of carpet and travertine installation in the master bathroom, tile work for fireplace, kitchen back splash, removal & replacement of cracked tiles in front walkway. Chris gave us some great suggestions of decorative tile ideas for surround tub and shower area, he itemized the cost of each job. The work I had done this day was for the kitchen back splash and the front walk way tiles. Chris arrived on the day of tile work, he did the all of the electrical, he left and the tile workers did the the remaining work. The following morning they finished the grout work and front walkway tiles. The job took roughly 1 1/2 days. They were on time, very nice and easy to work with. They laid out paper for walking around the house, and draped the counter with tarp for protection. They cleaned up the counter and front yard perfectly. I am very detailed in the work I like done, and they did a beautiful job, lining up the mosaic tiles perfectly, very smooth and seamless. Especial detail was done so the end legs facing the front of the kitchen had no open metal pieces of the tile showing.Chris came by the second day, he showed us a selection of different grout colors to chose from, again he had great suggestions, he's very easy going, has great attention to detail and cares about the outcome of the job being done. The second day the four cracked sautillo tiles were removed and replaced. After completion of the job, I can not tell the difference in tiles from the new to the existing tiles, it looks fabulous,.The tiles and grout blend in perfectly with the pre-existing tiles. Chris even had them replace a fourth tile at his expense because he did not like the crack line in that tile. It looked great, and once again they cleaned up everything and took away the old materials. I would highly recommend Chris Grillo and his workers from C & L Tile, LLC. This was the first time I used Chris, but it definitely will not be the last time. It is really nice to be able to hire someone that really cares about the outcome of the job he is doing. For the pricing and level of professionalism I could not be happier.

Chris and his crew were a dream to work with. The communication was A+ They were on time and the workmanship was amazing. I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to neighbors. My husband and I love, love our new bathroom.

I had a horrible pink tiled shower that had been leaking for quite some time and the entire bathroom needed an overhaul. Jaime demo'd the whole bathroom including shower, toilet, vanity and sink cabinet. Jamie and Eric rebuilt everything in the shower from the studs up, put a new pan, new drain, mudded it all, new plumbing and then awesome tile job with a deco border and shower cove. Installed Tile or wainscot around the entire bathroom which is pretty small. Installed new toilet, vanity and cabinet. Everyone was great, professional, pleasant, and always cleaned up after themselves on a daily basis. They even worked saturdays to finish the job. I supplied the materials besides grout and Chris Grillo went above and beyond and purchased finishing tile to complete the project. I had a similar bid and maybe one a tad more expensive. They were scheduled out about 7 weeks and we did reschedule once due to my issue. It's never fun to have construction in your home but they were all awesome and great people to be around. I trust them fully and I absolutely love my new bathroom. Next project I will hire them for my backsplash in the kitchen

I found C&L Tile here on Angie's list. I called Chris and told him what I needed to have done. He advised me regarding what to look for when shopping for the tile. He told me to get as close a match not only for the color but also for the size so it blends in with the existing tile. He pointed out that even a quarter of an inch difference could be a problem. Chris came out to my house and took some measurements. We tentatively scheduled a date about a month out since he was booked solid. After I found the matching tile from a company in the midwest, and ordered it, I called Chris and we firmed up the date for the installation about two weeks out. Chris' crew showed up on time as scheduled. Chris also stopped by briefly to check on things. Eric, Nick, and Raphael did the hard work (sorry Chris!) and they did a super job. These guys were meticulous. They were very respectful of our home. They did a great job laying the tile and grouting it. They cleaned up very well also. Because of the quality job they did we are considering having additional tile work done in our house.

Chris is just as personable and professional as the other reviewers have stated. His crew was fast, quiet and very professional. I can't recommend him enough. Great job!

The wait was more then worth it.Given the quality of Chris's crew's work it is not surprising that he was booked 30 days out. I built this house myself and I am a most demanding customer with a penchant for detail. I had scared off 2 other tile people with my questions and when I told them I would be watching over the work on a daily basis ,since I am now semi -retired..I soon abandoned that task when I saw Gil ,Chris"s crew chief go to work.Critical to any shower is the substructure and the pan .The only way to describe Gils work is that he sculptured the pan and walls before beginning to apply any tile. When applying the Carrera marble he polished every edge and contour where applicable Every tile was aligned perfectly . In addition Gil watched over both the plumber who he had to show how to install the new fixtures correctly and advised the electrician the best placement of the switches, that had to be moved. Chris himself was the consimate professional offering advise on material design and sources of material I can't say enough about the quality of their work in this day and age where you are lucky to get half of what you pay for. I will post photos of their work as soon as I finish the hard wood floor I am installing adjacent to the shower as the present condition of the floor would not do justice to the shower.

I am completely spoiled by Chris and his team of professionals. From start to finish he and his team were punctual, courteous, clean and thorough. If I ever had a question or concern, they addressed it immediately without ANY hesitation. Thank goodness Chris remembered us and had his notes as we originally planned on doing the work a year ago, but had to postpone due to family illness. It was worth the wait! I would highly suggest you have Chris at least give you an estimate. I can't imagine working with anyone else but him! Not to mention the tile work looks AMAZING!!! We are thrilled with the results!

I contacted Chris after reading reviews for C & L tile on Angie's list. I made arrangements for Chris to give me an estimate on the cost to do extensive tile work. The estimate was reasonable and in line with other estimates. I hired Chris to do the work based on my comfort level with him. I was going to be out of the country for 2 weeks, but asked Chris to do the work while I was gone. He agreed, and I made arrangements for him to pick up the tile from Floor & Decor and to tile in our absence. When we returned, I found the work had been done, it looked great, and there were no glitches. Part of what I appreciated with Chris was being able to pick his brain and get good suggestions on how to do certain projects. He is very knowledgeable and I feel I got good advice. I was extremely happy with the work C & L Tile did, and recommended them wholeheartedly.

Chris was very responsive and professional. He was prompt in providing us with a competitive estimate and secured a date to start the work within a couple weeks. The guy who came to do the tile work was excellent and very courteous. In the end we were very happy with the service, price and end result!

I contacted C & L Tile for an estimate to replace and repair my master bathroom shower. The person who came to do the estimate was professional, polite and knowledgable about the product. The estimate was reasonable, but the time I would have to wait for the repairs to be done was too long. I went with another company because they could get to my project faster. Should I be in the market for tile work again, I will definitely call them again.

This was the second time we used C&L Tile to install ceramic tile and once again they did an awesome job! The floors look perfect - better than we even imagined. Anytime I need tile done I will use C& L Tile. They are professional, reasonably priced and do great work.

The workers did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves. Chris was great to consult with and I will likely hire him again in the future. I had to wait a couple of weeks longer to get them (they are always very busy) but it was worth it. The plumber, who sees a lot of tile work, says C&L are the best in the Valley.

I can't say enough nice things about Chris and his team! This was the second job they have done for me, and it was done perfectly. The first job I had done was the installation of 20" noche Travertine floor tile through most of my house, where I was removing the carpet and trying to match the existing tile. The total for the work, which was very extensive, was about $13,000. I was thoroughly impressed by the level of professionalism exhibited by Chris, as well as everyone that worked on our project. The project took a couple weeks, and the installation team was outstanding. There were times that I wasn't home while they were working and I felt completely comfortable with them being there without me. The end result was fabulous! They did a wonderful job matching the existing tile and it is impossible to tell where the new tile is versus the existing tile. I get so many compliments on how beautiful the floor is in my home. I just had Chris and his team back to do a small job of installing some ceramic floor tiles in my husband's office. As I expected, the price was competitive, the team showed up on time, they did the work in an expert manner, and Chris came by to check on the outcome. The end result looks great and really improved the appearance of our home office. I would definitely recommend C&L and Chris for any type of tile work. His experience, integrity and commitment to exceptional customer service is evident throughout every project. I'm so glad I found this company!

I did not have any work done - just received an estimate. But, I was so impressed by Chris, and it is so rare these days to find contractors of his caliber, that I wanted to at least write a quick review about my positive experience.

Showed up when they said they would. Communicated clearly. Very professional crew that worked really hard while on the job. Tile is beautiful. They did an awesome job. Will use them again and recommend to anyone that asks.

They did an excellent job. You can’t tell that the floor was redone. They were very polite and easy to work with. I plan on using them for a backsplash in the kitchen soon.

C&L Tile removed old tile in bathroom shower and on bathroom floor, removed a linen closet, and re-tiled per specifications that I had provided them. They also removed the old tile on the patio and replaced with new tile. The job took a little longer than anticipated but it was well worth it. They ran up against some issues due to the construction of the older condominium,and they quickly worked around all of the issues providing very acceptable alternatives. They did a fantastic job and made several tweaks to the final job to provide a beautiful final product. For example, they put small pieces of bull nose on the side areas to finish the project that I had not originally ask for. It made a real difference in the finished product. C&L Tile's owner Chris Grillo was wonderful to work with. He was very accessible and was very responsive to my questions before the job started, and provided me with a cost estimate that he guaranteed he would not increase (and he did not increase). The foreman Nick and the rest of the crew were great. Nick was the workhorse of the crew and he provided me with information on what they were doing every step of the way. It was Nick who came up with unique alternatives to some of the unexpected design issues that were encountered. The crew was neat and clean, they made sure the condominium was kept clean by putting down runners in the hallways and tarps in the work areas. Chris brought in a plumber to do all plumbing areas,and provided me with the name of a company to do the shower glass (they also gave me the contractor rate!). I will definitely have C&L Tile do the rest of my tile work in the condominium.

Crew showed up on time and as planned, the job was completed in the estimated time, and the crew was professional and experienced.

This is the second time we have used Chris and his crew. We are always very happy with the results! The workmen are on time and do a terrific job. Chris is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him, and we will certainly call him the next time we need tile work done.

They were very professional, punctual, and thorough. The gentleman helped me measure another room where I needed to purchase some laminate flooring for. He was very helpful and courteous. I would use them again and would recommend them to others.

Chris was professional and prompt. He delivered the estimate ahead of his commitment. Unfortunately he was $2000 higher than 3 other estimates we'd received and due to his excellent reputation, was booked out for a month. We chose another company primarily due to our time crunch but price was a factor as well.

The Job took 5 days Monday-Friday 1st day the old tub,walls, toilet and faucets were removed and the next day the job started. The guys took there time and were very Professional and the 6inch tile looks perfect. I also had shampoo niche installed and it looks great "love it" plus shower rod, new vanity faucet, new toilet and tub faucet and towel bar, and light. Plus i had a kitchen faucet installed (old 1 removed) all my new faucets are Moen. I have to say C&L Tile is the best company to use for bathroom remodel and tile work and the owner Chris Grillo is like working with your closes friend I will use this company again and tell all my friends and family.
