C & L Tile

I called this company needing urgent service within a week. This company was booked, but they made room for me as I had a small job, tiling two small bathrooms. The installer that came was professional, did an excellent job, and answered all my questions. They cleaned up well at the end of each day. The work was done quickly and I was thankful that they helped me out. Everyone I met doing this job spoke english.

Not a really big job but we needed tiles replaced that buckled due to previous water damage.

Can't say enough good things about Chris, and about Dan who did the work. Very professional. Very pleasant, good people. Every one I met who works for Chris was a pleasure to have here, and good at their particular job. Most importantly, the work that was completed was of excellent quality. They were good at listening to what I wanted, but also suggested ideas for me to consider. Dan left me with a shower and bathroom floor that really exceeded my expectations--which says a lot; I have high standards! There was one hold up when the floor tile that was delivered was notably different from the sample that guided my selection. Chris and Dan were both very understanding and patient about the delay while I picked out new tile. The work began again as soon as the new tile arrived and everything was completed in good time. I am a very happy customer. If I ever need other tile work done, I'll be on the phone to C & L Tile.

They are no longer in business according to their phone message but they did a great job on my prior bathroom job.

They did a wonderful job, not only with clean-up but also with laying the tile and the grout. They are very meticulous and Jaime has excellent customer service. They showed up on time and completed the job on schedule. I highly recommend them.

This is the second time I have used C & L Tile. I cannot say enough complimentary remarks about this company. They are extremely prompt, professional, reliable and experts in their field. Although this was a very minor job, Chris was able to fit me in to their schedule in a very timely manner. Josh did the actual work on the repairs and tile in a meticulous manner explaining options and then completing the work as decided. I look forward to the day in which I have major tile design work to be completed by this company.

Each of the tasks was done to perfection. The only job I got another quote on (shower remodel) was from a large company that is no longer in business, no surprise to me. Their quote was $9,000 and I wasn't going to get what I wanted. Chris' quote (C&L Tile) was $3,000 and I got more than I expected, including a perfect job.

Chris and Dan were true professionals. They provided exceptional attention to detail, they were punctual, and did an excellent job. I would 100% hire Chris and his team for my next tile job.

Chris was great!. We had bought our tile at Home Depot and tried to use their installer to complete the work. After two no show appointments, I received a refund from Home Depot and went straight to Angie's list to find a reputable tile company. He called me back on the same day, provided a quote within a few days , and got us scheduled. He showed up on the scheduled day, on time, with an amazing crew. They were professional and did a great job. Our kitchen has been transformed!!

I love the new kitchen floor. The job was so well done! Complicated pattern but looks perfect. These guys really know what they are doing. Very pleasant and professional and always prompt and cleaned up each day. Plan to hire then again soon for another part of the house.

Simply, for my money, I wouldn't use anyone else but Chris and his crew. All the superlatives in the other reviews on this site are right on the money. I didn't know it at the time we told him we wanted to work with him that this would be the best money we would spend on our remodel. From the initial meeting through to completion Chris and his crew were incredible. Just remarkable workmanship and a really close-knit crew that enjoys working with each other and homeowners! Don't even think about other tile contractors, call Chris first. One more thing, he brings the plumbers with him and those guys are really, really good as well.

We used C& L on a previous renovation in our master bath so called them in to do this work. They did a fabulous job. Chris is so knowledgeable about works and doesn't work that he is able to guide the customer away from many possibly costly mistakes. He has seen so many installations he has an excellent sense of what is going to turn out great and what may be a mistake. His crews for both jobs have been easy to work with and are really artisans with the tile work. The bathroom walls were against the side of the house and did not allow for "cut-ins" for storing shampoo, soap, etc. The crew built us corner shelves that turned out great. We've recommended them to friends and they have always done a great job for them, also. We highly recommend Chris and his Team.

Chris and his crew were excellent. Chris gave me a quote over the phone and was able to quickly schedule the installation. I purchased the tile and Chris picked it up on the way to my house. For the two day installation, his crew was on time and courteous. The work product and quality was excellent.

The floor tiles in our guest bathroom had buckled so bad that we could not open the door. I called 3 tile companies and Chris was the only one who called me back. He came out the next day to look at the floor and give me an estimate. He knew right away what had caused the floor to buckle. He told me exactly what needed to be done to repair it and how much it would cost. He scheduled the work to be done the following week. His man was here promptly at the time I was told. He was very professional. Chris said the job would take 4 hours and that is exactly how long it took. Chris came by to inspect the work when it was all finished. The cost was extremely reasonable! I will use this company again if I have any tile work to be done. I will recommend him to my friends and family! It was apple assure to do business with Chris!

This backsplash installation was a bit of a challage since we had to deal with some bigger gaps between the wall and the graite counter top. Chris worked with us to design a solution and how to best resolve the problem. We were very happy with his solution to install backer board in some sections before installing the tile. His crew, especially Jaime, was very knowlagable and detail oriented, The stainless steel tile is very hard to work with but they did an outstanding job cutting the tiny little pices to make everything perfect. The result was absolutely amazing. The backsplash looks very impressive and we are getting so many great compliments. Chris is honest, dedicated and quality conscious craftsman. His pricing was very reasonable. He stays on top of things and checks on his crew to insure absolute customer satisfaction. We would highly recomend C & L to all our friends and family.

We were impressed with Chris and his employees. Employees were on time every day and they did quality work Chris stopped by routinely to check on the project and to give us updates. Chris communicated with his employees about the project and the employees communicated among themselves so everyone knew what needed to be done. We did not need to intervene at all! The completed project is well done and we are so glad we hired this company.

Chris and team removed existing tile above shower, replaced wallboard, and installed and grouted our pre-purchased mosaic tile above the shower in master bathroom. They also prepared the floor and installed and grouted our pre-purchased tile on the floor in the master bathroom. This was done in March 2015. The team returned in June 2015 after we installed the vanity, etc. and they installed and grouted mosaic tile above vanity. The entire team worked efficiently, were very communicative, clean up was performed during and after each job. Very easy professionals to work with, costs were well within budget, and work completed is superb! Couldn't have been happier from day of quote to final completion. Highly recommended for any size tile job required. Will work with Chris and team in the future.

Thoroughly satisfied. Price included materials and labor. Worked with me on installation date, so I only had to take one day off work. Splash installed on a Friday while it was grouted the following day. Plan on using him again when I re-do bathrooms.

Wow!! Wow!! Wow!! Could not have been happier with Chris, Jamie, and Mauricio! They were always punctual, neat, and most importantly, skillful in the art of setting tile. Jamie even matched the subtle pattern in the tile around the adjoining walls. Perfect work. The jobs went smoothly and only took 2 weeks total time for both bathrooms. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone interested in high quality work, and plan to use them again for another job.

Company did an excellent job of promptly coming out for a quote. All work was scheduled and completed as promised. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

The estimate was very fair, Chris and his team were very professional, timely and friendly, and the work was very good. We would definitely use them again.

We first contacted another contractor who had previously done work for us. They were very slow to respond and finally declined the job due to the small size of work. A 2nd contractor (found on Angie's List) would not even come to our home to provide an estimate. He told me he would give us an estimate if we sent photos of the work we wanted done! NO thanks. Chris, the owner of C & L Tile, was a breath of fresh air. He arrived as promised and reviewed the work we wanted done. Our main reason for contacting Chris was to regrout our master bathroom shower floor. It's a 1980's bathroom and much of the floor grout was missing and/or badly damaged. Since he was coming, we added a few other smaller tasks to the list as detailed above. Chris was very courteous, prompt and professional. He provided us a detailed estimate within a few days after his visit. It took about a month to get the job scheduled and performed because his job schedule is well booked. We were not in any real hurry so were agreeable to wait. On the first day of the job, Chris came with his employee, Josh, to introduce him and detail the work. Josh was meticulous and precise in his work. He respected our home and did a good cleanup of the work area when he was done. He returned a 2nd day to complete the job and arrived as promised. We are very happy with all aspects of our experience with C & L Tile and would highly recommend them. We felt the price was fair for the work performed and would not hesitate to use them again.

If I could give A++++ I would. This was hands down the best experience I have ever had working with a contractor from start to finish. I feel I was charged a fair price for high quality work. I am in the design field and I know that they did a very fine install according to my specifications. I am extremely happy with the finished work. Chris and his crew leader, Eric, were super flexible with me and helped me as design questions arose with tile layout. The finished work is absolutely magazine photo shoot ready. I can certainly understand why C & L has a wait list and believe me, they are worth the wait. I will definitely be calling them again as I update my 1970s home. If you are looking for tile work, look no further!
