C & L Tile

Everything was excellent. The work was wonderful. They were on time. Their price was good. They were very good people.

Chris Grillo responded immediately to my telephone request for advice on installing new tile in our kitchen, breakfast room and bathrooms. We had already secured a porcelain tile sample and Chris assured us that it was a good product. He measured and gave us an estimate and detailed schedule for the installation process, including assistance in coordinating pickup and installation of new toilets in connection with bathroom tile installation. Chris's employees were extremely competent. All work was performed in accordance with the estimated timetable, everything went smoothly, and we could not have been more pleased.

The experience was as close to perfect as you can get. From the first visit for the estimate, Chris Grillo is totally professional, helpful, friendly and straightforward. He took the time to discuss the job in detail and help us to select the tile that would make the job a success. He came to move our furniture and did it with care. The demolition and installation were as promised and on time. This is the company you should use for tile work. We are planning to have him back to do our outside patio and entryway.

I am going to call them for a quote on the other bathroom, because I am very willing to use them again. I was very impressed because Chris the owner made an appointment to come over at 2 o'clock to give me a quote and showed up at exactly 2. They were very professional in their work.

They arrived on time, completed the job within the period of time that they had estimated. They were very professional, , cleaned up following their work. They are extremely reliable and did excellent work. I would hire them again if I had need of the service. Chris Grillo answered the phone personally every time we called. We never had to wait for a message or a return call. He was extremely helpful with all our questions and I highly recommend him.

I found them on Angie's List, I read the article about him in the Angie's List book. I would use him again and I may have to use him again for tiling the house. He was wonderful. He's the best in town.

The entire experience was text book perfect. Chris Grillo arrived right on time to give us the estimate. His team, lead by Gilbert, arrived on time everyday. At the end of the day they cleaned everything. If it wasn't for the missing shower we wouldn't have known there was a work crew there. They were also neat outside where they mixed the cement and cut the tiles. They spread a large tarp over the stone in the yard to keep their cuttings form mixing in with the stone. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. I would highly recommend C&L Tile for any work. I'll certainly call them again.

I called them up and got an estimate for replacing 1 tile which was basically their minimum call rate and set up an appointment. They arrived on time and did the work in about an hour. They tried to match my grout color but I didn't reply to them soon enough so they brought 3 types. I was planning on getting it stained in a couple days so I didn't care too much. Everything went smoothly without any issues and the service guy was willing to explain things to me about why and how the first tile broke. After cleaning, it's difficult to pick out which tile is the new one.

Chris, and his crew do a great job. These are the guys you want in your home....I highly reccomend them.

We knew there were problems with our circa-1970s shower in addition to its general unattractiveness. Chris assessed the shower and figured that it was not draining properly. HIs quote was the lowest of the 3 we got, and I'm convinced that we got the best possible quality too. Gilbert was the lead on the job, and he was fantastic. The workers were always on time, careful, cleaned up well, tried not to disrupt the household and were very, very nice. The tile work was impeccable. It's a really beautiful transformation. If you have tile work, I urge you to hire C&L Tile.

It went great. The team was punctual and did excellent quality work. They were also very accommodating with scheduling. They kept the mess contained and cleaned up after themselves each day. Their prices were competitive and reasonable. Chris and his team are professionals that do good quality work, I'd definitely use them again in the future.

Chris' estimate was very clear on what they would do and what I would be responsible for prior to his coming out to do the work. Chris anticipated it would take a day and a half but they were able to finish in one day. His workers were prompt, polite and friendly. Chris came out at the end of the day to inspect the work himself and make sure that I was satisfied. It is very easy to see that Chris and his employees take customer service very seriously. It will be very easy to recommend him to my friends and I already know that I will be calling him back when we remodel our master bathroom.

Even though it was a fairly small job, they treated us like it was as important as any other. They came out promptly for the estimate, were able to schedule us within 2 weeks and even came out to finish some details after the carpet work was done and we had located some additional tiles for a small closet. We are very pleased and plan to use them on another project shortly.

We are very happy with both Chris and his team of tile guys. All very calm and reassuring, but very efficient in their work. And now I know how the big league does the job. Thankfully this may be my last tile job, but then there is still that future kitchen where I hope to invite this C&L team back to finish the house!

They did an excellent job from start to finish. The owner came and provided a timely and competative quote. Once they started the job they were very professional and did an outstanding job of cleaning up. Any changes I wanted were done. Their job on our jacuzzi tub was outstanding. They turned in from a 20 yr old looking tub area to a spa like look. Would recommend them to anybody interested in tile work.

Chose C & L Tile after receiving 3 bids from different companies. Chris Grillo had been referred to me by a friend, who has used him for tile projects several times over the past ten years. Although not the lowest bidder, he tried to come close to our lowest bid received. The bid process was painless, he was detailed, documented agreements in writing and responded quickly to all questions. He assisted us with referrals to tile and granite companies to search for products of our choice. He assisted us with selection of slabs without knowing he definitely had the job. Chris and his crew are easily the best contractors with whom I've ever worked on any home remodeling job. They arrived on time every day and worked hard. The project, which was large, finished ahead of schedule (unheard of in home remodeling). Chris excelled at attention to detail, advice at each stage of the work, and flexibility as we continued to make decisions that weren't final when we started. We are thrilled with the results and give C & L Tile our highest recommendation. We have already hired them again to work on a shower repair in our Master Shower.

We had a challenging radius curve to lay in an existing tile floor. They executed it perfectly and charged us exactly what was quoted. I could not be happier.

Eric had to reschedule the first appointment made which was fine. The second appointment was going to be a monday morning early but he missed it. Based on the reviews on this site I decided to still have him do the work. He arrived on time to the 3rd appointment to give me a quote and returned the next morning to complete the work. Everything looks great.

Very professional from start to finish. I watched and learned a lot throughout the tiling process. The man that tiled has over 15 years experience and it really showed in his workmanship.

Chris was prompt on arriving for the estimate. He had several suggestions while we discussed what I wanted done. His estimate was about the same as another I had, but I felt better working with Chris. Workers were always on time. Cleaned up each day. Let me know how everything was going. Chris stopped in a couple of times and called to keep me up to date. Recommended a glass company for the shower door and other products to keep the stone looking good. Fininshed remodel is wonderful!! Overall experience was excellent.

It was a great experience! Chris and all his workers are very punctual, organized and did a wonderful job. The baseboards and T-modelings were left untouched and the new floors look incredible! I was so pleased at how clean the job was done. The work took three days total and each day they arrived exactly when they said. I highly recommend C &L Tile!
