Mark came out to give set of costs for work to be performed and followed up with written quote via email that same evening . Mark & Nathan showed up on time and ready for work on day scheduled. They were absolutely AWESOME. Very professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and met their timeline. Nathan did a fabulous job of moving the data/phone lines to a new location. He absolutely organized all of the associated wires and cables and when he was finished all were hidden and out of sight. Mark was very thorough and made sure everything was powered back up and running before leaving when the work was completed. He (and Nathan) took time to explain what was being done to meet our requirements and they made sure to clean up all debris, parts, etc. and vacuum when work was finished. They also helped us move furniture during this project. They were very patient and totally professional at all times. They went way over and above what they were hired to do. We were so thrilled with Mark's and Nathan's quality of work, we presented them with additional bonus money however Mark refused to accept saying that the price we paid for the work performed was good and he appreciated our business. Butera Electric is the ONLY electrical contractor we will use going forward. They can be trusted to show up on time, do quality work and to charge a fair and reasonable price. I am so impressed!!

Great. Electrician arrived on time. Nathan was professional and pleasant to talk to. He installed the fans without any issues. He was considerate, laying a tarp down on the carpet to protect and worked quietly so I could work in another room. During the inspection he made some simple upgrade suggestions to more complicated ones depending what we would like to improve vs. budget.

Nathan showed up on time and performed the de-installation of my existing ceiling fan and installation of the new fan I had for him. Installation and calibration went pretty smooth and I was happy with his overall demeanor, professionalism and work output. My only complaint, and this is not geared toward Nathan, but more for the company, is that he should have been wearing booties over his work boots when he performed the work in my house. Again, Nathan did a great job and I am pleased with his work, but it is more of a suggestion for his bosses to consider in the future.

I purchased on Monday a "Big Deal" which was a whole house inspection and hour of labor. The office called me Tuesday morning. I explained I could not use my garage door and needed the 3 gang switch rewired. She was fantastic and was able to schedule an appointment on Tues PM. Carlos called and said he would be there by 1:30p. He arrived on time. He checked everything and explained as he fixed things. He rewired the switch & left everything very neat. He was very professional and really impressed me. Sometimes when you order a "Big Deal" they seem to add things to the final bill that are legit but inflated to make up for the % off. Not the case with Butera electric. I am truely impressed with this company and will recommend & use them for my electrical needs in the future.

The deal specifically states that the installation would cost $75 and a new electrical box installation would cost an additional $85. Butera said they charge an additional $220 for the electrical box installation and that "that's Angie's List's problem because they cited the wrong kind of box installation." I made it even easier for them by telling they they could run the fan to an existing wall switch with existing wiring and that they'd literally only have to put the box in place and re-run the existing wiring to the new box from an existing box less than 12 feet away in the ceiling. Butera's installer said the $85 price cited in the deal is for the wrong kind of electrical box and insisted they'd charge me $220 over the deal price, and that there's nothing he could or would do about it. Pure bait-and-switch. Buyer beware. Clearly the provider's response below is total hogwash and backpedaling. The deal cited $75 for a ceiling fan INSTALLATION and $85 for INSTALLATION of a circuit box. The details of the deal said NOTHING about replacement of existing ANYTHING, and it's also clear that the provider didn't even read my description because I explained that EXISTING WIRING COULD BE USED for the new ceiling fan, so there would be no "fishing lines through walls." As I said before, BUYER BEWARE! These people are scammers, and now showing themselves to be liars, too.

Great experience that I had today. Nathan did an outstanding job on installation. He was very courteous, explained options on ways to operate the fan and we both decided on dual switches. He is clearly a professional, payed attention to detail, laid plastic over areas of the attic crawl space and bed. He even vacuumed just in case! When finished, he check the outdoor circuit box and tested the power outlets in the house. Excellent communications with Mark Butera when I had initial questions. I highly recommend Butera Electric and will use them in the future for two other projects. Thank you, Nathan and Mark! .

Butera Electric came right out just a few days after I purchased the Angie's list ceiling fan deal. Had no problem coming out to a remote location on a job that probably cost them as much in gas as the price of the service. I really appreciate that. Nathan called ahead to let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time and got right to work installing two ceiling fans. He is very courteous and knowledgeable. I'm going to have him out to my rental property to look at a couple of electrical issues there on Friday, so I'll definitely use their service again.

On time, move what he needed, covered everything else with plastic, and cleaned my room up after installation was finished. VERY happy with Butera Electric.

Electrician was on time, thorough and did a great job. He did a walk-around of my house and pointed out a few areas that he recommended be upgraded. Service was well worth the cost. Saved me a lot of time.

Nathan was prompt, professional and helpful. After he did the work, he did the safety inspection as promised. He also did a couple of other minor jobs, like tightening the blades on our other fans, and answering all our questions. He was here about 3 hours. We will be having them back for an estimate on some bigger work.

Very good experience. Mark was professional and took the time to explain things to me such as what the different numbers on my circuit breaker panel indicate. I have gone through an unusual amount of light bulbs in my garage in a short period of time and thought something must be wrong with the wiring. Mark checked the wiring and it was fine, the only thing he could think of that could be causing the problem was the brand of light bulb I was using. I tried a different type and brand of bulb; so far, so good. I have a list of electrical issues to tackle and will definitely be calling Mark when I am able to get the work done.

The issue was found and resolved by his thorough search throughout the house. I would definintely give them a call on my next project.

Suffice to say the as found condition was less than "normal" in any way. Mark and his team put in the time and effort to ensure that all aspects of the work were done to code, in an efficient manner and at an affordable cost. As the site was built over the years by "students" using what ever they could to achieve the goal, things were not easy to trace and figure out. Mark spent the better part of the summer figuring out all the problems and correcting them to avoid any future trouble. I would not hesitate to have Butera Electric work on my own home or freinds properties.

Butera Electric always arrives at the site when they say they will. Mark Butera is a wealth of knowledge and an expert electrician. The work area is always kept clean and secure while they preform the job. Butera electric has been my #1 go to electrician for years. They have provided service on 8 homes and are currently working on another one. I wouldn't call anyone else for any kind of electrical job. Butera Electric fees are well priced and Mark Butera is good at watching out for or bottom line. I have refered Butera Electric in the past and will continue to do so. They are a great locally owned small business.

It went great. Mark Butera was extremely professional and polite. I was in a jam as I called on Friday late afternoon needing this outlet by Saturday for my Gas stove conversion. The Plumber advised me that the stove wouldn't work without the 110V. Butera Electric was fantastic understanding my dilemma and scheduled me in for a 8 am call the following morning. The job was clean and professional, I would never know it was a retrofit. I would highly recommend them and will do so. I am in the Real Estate Profession and have found it very difficult to find quality professional RELIABLE, contractors. Thank you

I was very tired of turning the fan and light on and off from the chains on my ceiling fan because my ceiling is about 10 feet tall and I am too short. Butera Electric fixed 4 rooms that had electrical problems. They also installed fans and made sure that there were two switches for every fan, one for the light and the other for the fan. They also made sure that the electrical work was done adequately for it to pass inspection. They informed me about the different types of switches that I could use i.g motion sensing and dining switches to see what convenient for me. I was very satisfied with the time it took them to complete the job. They were very courteous, professional and answered all my questions.
