Mark came out and gave me a fair quote to run electrical and install a second out door light fixture. He returned on the given day and time to perform the install. He did an awesome job and you can tell that he takes pride in his work. I was even surprised when he came in under his expected estimate. We already know that we?ll be using Butera Electric for a few other electrical jobs throughout our home.

They definitely were professional, very thorough and did a good job. I think it took just a little longer than we expected.

Nathan was on time, was very friendly and professional. The installations were done exactly as I asked and look perfect.

They were on time and perfomed the work quickly without leaving a mess.

The service was fine. I had no dislikes at all. The electrician was punctual. My appointment was set up in a convenient time for me. He cleaned up. He showed me how to operate my new lights. It was great.

He was excellent. He was very honest and worked very quickly. The owner himself is the guy that showed up. He didn't try to sell me on the things I didn't need. I actually tried to get him to come back later to help install a hot tub but he was already booked up. He however gave me a name of another person to do it for me. The work was great. I didn't spend more than the Big Deal price. He came to do the work a month after I'd purchased the Big Deal but that was because of my schedule and not his.

I dont always write reviews but know that is the basis for Angie list so here goes. Mark was very busy and booked out a few days in advance but after explaining my dilemma he PERSONALLY made time to come out on the weekend and address all my problems, and got me up and running and left me with piece of mind. After meeting mark and witnessing his work I'd have to say Marks response to the lady who gave a bad review about him not coming out till Jan is dead on, although I did NOT have to wait but a couple of days, and surely understand the basis of quality over quantity as far as employees, fellow angies listers, I know you get that too, thats why we pay for this service! He seems very particular about who he has on staff, and I can't speak for his employees as I was fortunate enough to get the man himself to do the repairs, but after speaking with him in depth and witnessing his work, and ethics, i have no reason to look else where for my future electric needs and have already handed his card out to others needing service. Mark, i know you'll be reading this at some point, thx so much for your time on Sunday, and for getting us up and running. Peeps he did stuff at my house that left me with a total sense of relief and confidence that Ive joined the Butera family of customers that will be hounding him in the future for lots of needed work around here.

We contacted Butera Electric on Thursday and were able to get an appointment for the following Saturday. Mark Butera arrived at the time set up. The first thing he did was to check and make sure the the appropriate breaker was in the on position as we had done prior to contacting his company. Mark then moved inside to do some more investigation. Finding nothing, he went back to the breaker box and discovered that while the breaker in question looked to be in the on position it was actually off. With that our problem was solved. When asking what we owed, Mark told us we owed him nothing. We had expected to at least pay for the service call. He just asked that we utilize him for any other electrical needs and provide him a recommendation to others. WOW, how often does that happen any more? We would definitely call Butera Electric again and would recommend him to others.

Don't bother calling this company. I was told they're overbooked until January. No openings for 3 months? If true, what kind of way is this to run a business? HIRE PEOPLE!!! UPDATE: 11/25/14-- I stand by my review. Mark blew me off on a small job and has scheduled other people ahead of me since telling me he didn't have a break in the schedule until January. Do I have to post the email exchanges? Why would I make that up? Just to give a bad review for no reason? The two reviews posted since me actually support my claim. In September I was told no appointments until January but Butera has since taken two new small jobs ahead of mine. Both say they got service within days of calling. So why not me? My money is good, but I live in a distant part of the valley where service people never want to go unless they are slow and looking to drum up business. That's how they came here the first time on a coupon promotion. Now they want me to wait 3 months while taking similar small jobs in October and November ahead of me after I contacted them in September. A couple of dining room lights going out at someone else's house is more of an emergency than me being without outdoor light for several months in my neighborhood with no streetlamps? If this sounds honest and fair to you then by all means please book Butera. I still have no lights after asking them for help in September, but no big deal.

The service was excellent. These guys do what they say they are going to do and at a very reasonable price. . Mark was responsive, let us know what was going on and was extremely professional. Great very professional could,t be better

very professional and hard working. did a great job. they offered to extend the deal if I wanted replace or install any other fans even though the deal was over.

It went well and he fixed an issue we were having with one of our outlets.

Nathan arrived promptly, and was very courteous. The work in the garage was not pleasant, as he had to access the connections through the attic, which, at this time of year was very hot. Since he was working alone, and had to make repeated trips up into the attic, he did not charge me for the full amount of time worked, since the work might have been completed a little more quickly, if he had a partner to assist in the work. Nathan was very professional, thorough, and cleaned up perfectly after all the work was completed. He replaced all our existing smoke alarms, and recommended adding one CO2 alarm, since we have a gas fireplace in the family room. He was very efficient doing all the work. My only slight disappointment was that my original phone request was not responded to right away. I had to make a repeat call in order to get the service scheduled. Otherwise, everything went very well.

I met with Mrk Butera and he seemed to be a bit busy because it took him a while to get back to me. I remember being back and forth with him to set the appointment date. We eventually hooked up and he came out and there was nothing wrong with anything that he did but I just felt that the other guy I saw hit it off better with me. I don't know why that was. I looked at his reviews and people liked them but that wasn't my experience. He looked at the panel and looked at the wiring and he was OK. He didn't try to over sell me so it was a good experience with both but I personally chose the other provider. He quoted me about $900.

I wasn't there personally but heard all went well.

I called Butera Electric on Thursday and they came out on Friday. We agreed to their quoted price, so they completed the work immediately. The location of the new outlet posed some challenges, but the Electrician performed the work quickly and correctly. He was very knowledgeable and clearly interested in his trade--always a great sign in my book! We hadn't planned to replace the ballasts for the light fixtures when we called, but he noticed they weren't working correctly (constant flickering) and offered to take care of that while he was here as well. Two birds with one stone! Great service and value. Our experience was excellent from start to finish.

We had a fire in our home and had 60-70% rewired in an older home. The general contractor bailed on us - leaving electrical work incomplete. We needed someone to troubleshoot problems -- non-functioning switches and fixtures, light shorting out, circuit breaker tripping, etc. It's difficult picking up where someone else left off. Nathan came to our rescue -- he accommodated us on short notice, was punctual, professiona,l easy to work with and fixed all of our issues. Great service, Nathan! Thank you!

It was difficult to figure where the outages were and where the problem was. After several attempts at trying different scenarios it was discovered and Butera did a great job. I loved the fact after initial call he said he could save me money by trying a few things myself and then called back just to see if the problem was fixed.

Outlet change was fine, but wasn't impressed with level of detail. Found pieces of stripped wire on counters, a screw at the top of the plate cover was left off (found it behind the coffee maker), and did not turn back on 8 breakers that they'd shut off while swapping out the outlet. On the plus side, I had called that am and they were able to squeeze in a quick service call and resolve it right away.

They were very good. They came out 2 days after I got the deal. They did everything, he came in and he did everything that I wanted him to do in the time frame that he said he was going to take.

The electrician works for the company. He was punctual, quick, and meticulous He complimented me on my choice of ceiling fan and demonstrated how to operate the new fan with the remote. He thoroughly clean up his mess before he left. I will definately use this company again.

Mark was right on time, took out the old timers on our switches and got the light switches working again. Great job!
