I chose them because I trust the Angie's List. They were on time and they do a good job.

They were always professional and did a good job controlling the insect problem at my house. I thought that they were also reasonably priced. I would hire them again.

Technician Duane serviced our home every month from end of 2010 to mid 2012. He was very informative and knowledgeable. I hired different company to perform pest control job but I am not 100% satisfied. I think I will switch back to Burns soon.

Overall, it was a positive experience. The men arrived within the time period they had given me and accomplished the work in timelyl manner.

The experience with Burns Pest Elimination was excellent. They came by and looked at the home, because I thought there were bedbugs, and confirmed that there were not. They treated for other things, so it was great. I liked their punctuality and their honestness. I thought the price was right.

have been paying burns for ten years. this is the first time they ever bothered to inspect for termites. they only did this inspection when i insisted. seems like they collect money and offer little in return.

They're doing fine. They always send me a card before they come. They come when they say they're going to. The workers are fine. They've changed some like when they get someone new there. You don't know really who they are. The workers are fine. The price is probably average.

This contractor sucked. I had to fire them, they were the most unethical provider, I have ever had. I asked them if I could make payments every quarter or every two months and it was just a comedy of errors. An estimator came out to my property which is about an acre in size and he walked the property both front and back to give me an estimation on the price for both weeds and termite control for the property. What they felt we would need and how many times we would need it and the products that would be used for a property of this size. We went ahead and signed up for the service and I told them that I wanted to be home for the first time they came and they didn't want to agree to call me, they just wanted to schedule the service and let themselves into the backyard if I was not there. But they were not providing that service. I wanted to be there so that they could do the inside of the house. Anyway, they could never get the arrangement scheduled for a time when I was home. They sent a guy out to work on the property and he only did the front of the yard. So I contacted them and told them the contract was also for the back of the yard as well and that's when the run around started. Thirteen different phone conversations followed before I was like you guys are totally fired. Give the rest of my monies back and I will pay for the front of the yard that was worked on. I could never get them to schedule the pest cleanups on a day when I was at the house and finally I just said you guys are a bunch of complete idiots. The run around on the phone was just terrible and I only went with them because they were the only ones in our area that provided both pest and weed control. I never got my money back and I had only paid one installment, if they had billed me for the rest, they would have another thing on their hands but I finally just got over the fact that I never got a refund for the monies I spent. I just couldn't believe the number of providers I got from Angie's List who were just, I can't believe that they are really doing business. I am in the service industry and I would never treat my customers like that.

They did a pretty good job. We have them on guarantee, so it didn't cost us anything. My husband is the one who actually got them and he seemed quite happy with them.

They do good work. They came out and did exactly what they said they're going to do. They are very clean and everything worked out nice.

They were friendly throughout the process, responsive, on time. Gave us a guarantee if the weeds return within the next 12 months to call them back for a free touch up. We are happy with the results, the front yard has no live weeds, and is ready for a cleanup. We will use them again.

Everything went well----------and according to the company's original estimator who came to the house, outlined the situation and resulting plan, and scheduled our appointment in a timely manner. He followed up after work was completed, and appreciated our feedback. The only thing we didn't receive before the scheduled appointment was a "confirmation call," which would have saved us a bit of wondering when/if we were "on."

After searching Angie?s List, we called several pest control companies and selected Burns because of the reviews, our phone conversation and the fact that they could provide a dog to help us determine what rooms needed to be treated. We also liked the fact that they could treat both with chemicals and heat, as needed. The dog found evidence of the bugs in 7 of our 10 rooms, so we decided to treat the whole house. One of the rooms had two recliners in it, and bed bugs living inside both of them. We were told that the chemicals might not be able to penetrate deeply into all parts of the chairs, so we elected to have that room heat treated. Burns also gave us a list of things we needed to do before and after the treatment, which we did, understanding that it would help a great deal in ensuring the success of the treatment. On his follow-up inspection, the dog did not find any evidence of the bugs. It has been four weeks since the treatment and we have not found any sign of recurrence, so we are really relieved. It was a pleasure to work with this company, especially in the midst of such an unpleasant circumstance.

This was my rental house, so I was not there at the time of service, but the tenants where happy. I have not heard of any problems with any more termite problems.

Had a Bed Bug infestation for several months I tried to treat with high end chemicals and foggers, but could not resolve the problem. Burns Pest Control came out evaluated the problem....recommended heat treatment...treated the entire home in one day, havn't seen a bed bug since.

Tenant in my rental house realized there were bees in the wall behind the master bath. We called Burns and scheduled an appointment with them but used another company locally and requested by the tenant, instead. Burns called right back, explained about the unknown costs that might be involved, etc. and was very professional. They were willing to do the work two days from the date of contact.

Our bedrooms were infested after a stay at a four star hotel. Burns Pest Elimination gave us an estimate and instructions on how to prep the bedrooms and closets for the treatment. I wanted a trained Bedbug dog to go through the house to see if any other rooms had been infested. There was an almost overwhelming amount of prepwork to get the rooms ready. But worth all the time and effort to get the job done correctly the first time. We needed to be out of the house for 8 hours because the best treatment for a heavily infested room is heat treatment and then insecticide spray. Then after two weeks the dog was brought back in to make sure that all the bedbugs were dead and had not been spread to other areas of the house. We passed the final inspection and have been bug free for almost 2 months now.

I contacted Burns and several other companies. Juan was very responsive and got back to me quickly by phone and later by email. He came to the house and I told him what the home inspector said the problem was. He then walked me around the whole house and proceeded to tell me what else he would do. He said the main problem was the house across the street which was pigeon infested. The work was done. They came on time and completed the job when they said they would. Since I was in the hospital having a baby my husband had to pay and check on the work. I was told the service was guaranteed. Several months later, the exact spot that I had made the call about, that the home inspector had told me about, was housing several pigeons. I thought it would be easy to take care of since I had the guarantee. I called Juan and he came to the house within a day. He said he had no knowledge of that area and it wasn't on the estimate. He told me it would be another $150. I was irate! That was the only area I cared about. I spoke to him in depth about it originally because it is by my son's windows and I didn't was the droppings or noise right there. I stressed to him that that was the most important part. I even tried to remind him of that but he had no recollection and his vague paperwork could not support it either way. I feel scammed. They didn't even need to do the rest of the house. There are no pigeons on the back side. Why, when the problem was so glaringly clear would he not have had the work completed for that area?

They are very trustworthy. I think they are very pleasant and do a very thorough job. You do not have to worry about them being alone in your room while they are spraying for bugs.

Everything goes well and they keep the bugs out. I never had the crickets and scorpions that were there before they came. They were always on time. They come right when they say they do. If I had a quick change in appointment they do. They were very good in changing things for me to suit me and get in another time. They gave really good service. The price was compatible with anybody else.

I use the corporately and personally at my house. They even handle the accounts at the hospital here. They are a very large company. They do a great job and have excellent customer service skills. They are the best.
