Description of Work: This service began with an installation early December 2011. Brad is friendly, but not someone I would count on or ever use again. First of all, he sold us a product (spring roller shades) that did not work properly. To get them to recoil, it took 4, 5 or more attempts before you get them fully recoiled. The manufacturer's representative did come out to see them first hand after we complained to Brad. She knew immediately the problem...they don't work properly and are being re-engineered by the manufacturer. She suggested an alternative, manual roll up shade. That was fine with us. When Brad installed the manual roll-up shades, he did a very unprofessional job. After he left, we noticed that the two shades installed on our brand new French Doors were uneven when extended and too narrow to properly clip to one of the doors. Upon complaining to the manufacturers representative, she made contact with Brad. The representative told us that Brad would contact us and remedy the problem. That was over a month ago. We have not heard from Brad. Frankly, at this point we do not want to hear from Brad. He probably won't show up anyway and he'll probably mess up the installation even more. In summary, he is a nice guy, but no thanks.

Description of Work: We wanted to have shutters installed in our home and the first place I went was Angies list as always. We had moved into the house last June and the windows did have some decent blinds but nothing at the sliding patio door; we did not want to put up the cheap vertical blinds and were not quite sure what to do. We called Brad who came out on the week end and we told him we would need to do the windows in stages as we knew it would not be cheap to do all 28 windows. I had read a report by a previous client of his about panels he had installed for them on their patio doors, he had many samples and explained everything and we decided on the 5 panel option and the price was more than reasonable. He then measured the whole house windows and then told us of an additional discount he could give us from the manufacturer that saved us even more money something he did not have to do; that being the case we could now do more windows than originally anticipated. Brad was the consummate professional and very honest. He took care of all of the ordering and came back last weekend once all the product had arrived and installed the panels and shutters; everything looks great and we love them. I will defiantly use Brad to finish the rest of the house and can not say enough about his integrity and work ethic plus the cost of the shutters and panels were more than a fair price. Great job.

Description of Work: From the first phone call to last of the installation this was a great experience. Brad was helpful, knowledgable, and provided excellent service at a reasonable price. In today's world of less than stellar service - this experience stands out way above expectations. Brad provided blinds for nearly a full house of windows for my client who was going to be renting her house. We were under a time constraint and he responded quickly for a first appointment as well as expediting the installation. Brad made me look good and I appreciate it. I will be recommending him to all my clients and friends. His great service continued after the installation by sending a thank you note. A classy operation from beginning to end.
