We contact Budget Blinds to find out who their local representative was as it was confusing on their website. They contacted Brad Lewis and he called us within 15 minutes. He then set up appointment for the next day. He arrived on time and listened to what we were thinking about. He gave us some great ideas and we changed our minds and went with his suggestions. I worked with Brad Lewis of Budget Blinds. Our initial appointment was on a Saturday which was convenient for me. He arrived on time and provided several choices of vertical blinds. Also, I thought I needed to replace two vertical blinds but with Brad's review, I only needed to replace the headrail for one of the vertical blinds and that was a money saver. The blinds and the headrail were ordered and once in, Brad returned to my residence and installed everything within approximately 30 minutes. I certainly appreciated Brad's promptness and professionalism. I will definitely use his services again and I would highly recommend him.

The whole process went very well. This includes pre-sales questions, quotes, measurements, order, installation and invoice. Brad was very prompt and professional on responding to emails and returning calls. Budget Blinds exceeded expectations.

So far, during the renovation our condo we have dealt with four sub contractors. The experience with Budget Blinds was by far the best. .Brad Lewis was very prompt at answering my email and setting up an appointment. He arrived on time and brought various samples for us to look at. He suggested various things we could do to our windows. He was patient at answering questions and giving us time to decide colors, styles etc. We ended up purchasing pleated shades for 4 large windows. We will have Brad back once our new carpet is in to measure for a patio door vertical blind. Brad called us when the shades were ready for installation and came out promptly to do the install. He came with everything he needed to do the job and was fast and quite tidy. He was considerate to take away all the old pleated shades as they were to big for us to dispose of easily. He moved and replaced whatever furniture he needed in order to access the windows. When all was complete he took time to explain the warranty information and give us the installation directions that came with the shades. Brad had a sense of humor the entire time and made us feel as if he appreciated our business. We also decided we would like some window tinting film on several windows and he set up the entire process with the company that does that. It all worked out well. Overall it has been a very good experience working with Brad Lewis of Budget Blinds of North & East Phoenix. I would surly recommend his services to anyone needing help with what to do with their windows. We investigated getting a big box store to do our windows but all they did was say "here are the sample books, see what you like". No suggestions or help with what to do with our windows. No offer to come to our home and look at windows etc. We truly preferred the individual service Brad gave us and feel confident that he will follow up should we need assistance. After 19 years in our house,Brad from Budget Blinds completely transformed the inside, and the outside for that matter, with beautiful new window treatments that were a lot lower in price than we though and very practical for our situation. First, we have a very open family room, dining room, kitchen combination that stretches for two-thirds of the west side of our house. Ever since I brought home my first portable PC projector, my family has preferred to watch movies and TV on a giant projected image. This is probably the main reason I have a son in the USC School of Cinematic Arts right now. Over the years we have upgraded projectors, built in speakers, and dry walled over a southern exposure window. In order to watch in the middle of the day I custom fit some plywood into the three panel doors that replaced our old arcadia sliding door. These have always been a pain to install and remove anytime we wanted to watch TV or a movie, but without them we just couldn?t get a good bright picture. Brad introduced us to a honeycomb shade that can black out the sun. They look sheer, but when they are down the sun does not make its way through. They easily raise and lower by hand to any desired level. We installed four of these across the back west side of our house, so when it isn?t a theater, you would never be able to tell that it could be. From our backyard, these honeycomb shades look awesome as well. Much better than the ridiculous boards we have used for years. Second, we put in wood, actually composite, blinds with 4-1/2 inch slats - officially a 4-1/2 inch smooth elliptical shutter with a hidden tilt. We have always wanted something like this across the large picture window and 2 bedroom windows at the front of the house, but did not think we could ever afford them. These are designed so that there is no center rod to raise and lower them, like on cheaper shutters ? this is the hidden tilt. My other son just starting at ASU, who lived his whole life with various beds in the same corner of the same room, never slept well into the morning ever, in spite of the myriad of window treatments over his last 18 years. The composite blinds now completely block out the sun in the morning, and he can sleep to noon whenever he crashes here to bring his college laundry home. The most amazing thing about the blinds, is the way they make the outside of the house look ? very classy. I was going to put up some fake decorative wood shutters to frame the windows, but the improvement was so extreme, I no longer need to do this. I was blown away by how great they look. I should have done added these 19 years ago! Brad came out and measured quickly and showed us lots of different styles. Although he would have let us get whatever we wanted, his suggestions made a lot more sense than any of our previous ideas. After all, we aren?t in any way blind and shade experts and after going to the big box stores, and not getting good service, we were really stumped as to what we would do. Brad?s samples easily demonstrated colors and styles and we walked these throughout the house so we could get a good feel. Now that they are in and we have used them for a month, there is just one window in the house we haven?t covered yet with something from Brad. The honeycomb shades arrived first and Brad had them up in less than an hour on a Saturday. The composite blinds arrived three weeks later. In the meantime we were able to repaint ceilings and walls, so we would have a fresh clean look throughout the house. When the blinds for the front arrived, Brad too had those up in about an hour. Brad is very nice and great listener. HIs service, like all of our AngiesList selections has been first rate. He was fast, but thorough, and we never felt pressured or bullied into something we did not want. We will use Budget Blinds again and I would recommend them to anybody.

Brad was on time and professional for both the consultation and installation. The shutters have exceeded my expectations. Although they were not an inexpensive choice, I am so glad I selected them. They fit my home beautifully and look modern and clean on the windows. I know they will look great for years to come. When Brad finished the installation I had him measure 3 more windows to have the shutters made and installed and plan to convert the entire home to the composite shutters. Brad is very willing to work with you and do a window or two at a time to accomodate your budget. He is professional, punctual and has a high-quality final product. No wondering here if you will receive your treatments on time or if they will be the right size, etc. when you do. I would highly recommend Brad and Budget Blinds if you are looking for new window treatments.

Overall experience great! Brad was extremely nice and friendly, yet professional. He was punctual on both the estimate appointment and installation dates. Blinds look very nice. He even repaired a broken blind valance on another window at no charge. Talk about great customer service! I am currently leasing a condo, but definitely will contact Brad for window treatments if/when I decide to purchase a home here in the Phoenix area. I would gladly recommend him to all of my friends.

I was pleased with the service, the professionalism and expertise Brad provided! The end result is I have beautiful cordless light filtering and darkening shades on my windows, patio & French doors, delivered and installed on schedule with no delays or hidden costs! Working with Brad Lewis was an outstanding experience. I've been a consumer for 50+ years and have never been more satisfied when working with a business. When I was ready to install, Brad had been involved in a serious accident and was in a wheelchair. He got the job done despite his injury, which was remarkable, and never complained!! I love my shutters and shades and have had many compliments on how well my shades blend into my walls/woodwork and don't detract from my view. My shades also don't have any strings it's great they are so easy to get up and down. Brad came out twice for istalltion getting the shades up first and then the shutters since they take a bit longer. I was also impressed with the warranties just as good if not better than most others! Brad still has the measurements for the windows that had exisiting shades on them that he fixed for us and pretty soon we'll be calling to order more from him! Brad is so friendly and helpful you can tell he enjoys what he does and really cares about his customers!

Ok, I am just piling on the praise here, as you can see from the extensive glowing reviews, but Brad really is awesome. He is available and fast, coming quickly for an estimate and providing a turnaround for ordering and installing of about 2-3 weeks. Brad really went above and beyond. In addition to the normal stuff he does (coming for an estimate, measuring, ordering the blinds, installing), he was extremely nice and sociable and accommodating. He came out TWICE since I second guessed our color selection, and he even let me keep some samples, as he was willing to drive to pick them up from me at a conference the next day. He fixed some damage on two original blinds. He happily moved furniture and removed and re-installed custom closet features blocking a window. He gave me a great price right away without haggling, and, of course, Budget Blinds offers some great replacement warranties. I highly recommend Brad. Everything turned out really well.

I saw Brad's great reviews on Angie's List and called him first. I was impressed with his professionalism on the phone. Brad made an appointment with me and called when he was delayed in traffic; something that I really appreciated. He helped me narrow down my choice of window covering based on what I was trying to accomplish and then helped me pick the best color from a large selection of colors. The prices were reasonable and he was very patient and pleasant when I changed my mind on one of the choices several times. The products came in quickly and Brad did a great installation the next day so that I could have them up before I went out of town. I was completely satisfied with both Brad and the products that he provided. I would absolutely use him again. He is a real professional and a very nice person as well.

My first conversation with Brad on the phone was helpful. He gave me great advice on what would work on my French doors. He came to measure and set a two week date for installation. Everything went smoothly and I am very pleased with the blinds. He's profession, personable and knowledgeable. The product is great and I've already placed a second order.
