Budget Blinds

I contacted Brad at Budget Blinds for a quotation on interior shutters for my windows and a solution (not vertical blinds!) for a sliding glass door with an arch. Brad suggested a four panel track shade for my sliding glass door. Brad provided an excellent quote for the entire home, but, due to budget constraints, I was only able to move forward with the four panel track shade for the sliding glass door. I contacted Brad and told him I understood if he didn't want to handle such a small job, but he was very positive and indicated that he would help me with any of the windows I needed covered and didn't mind if I could only do a little bit at a time. Brad's positive attitude and willingness to help will definitely make me a repeat customer! When the shade arrived, Brad scheduled an installation with me promptly and arrived on time to our scheduled appointment. He was thorough with any questions I had and gave me some pointers on cleaning and maintaining the shade system. I would definitely recommend Brad @ Budget Blinds to others, and I will certainly call on him again.

As a real estate professional in the valley I represent many clients and investors that often purchase a home without window treatments. I have used Brad Lewis / Budget Blinds for a number of properties in this past year and his price always comes in great, and they are always installed on time! We had just moved into a new home that had wonderful window coverings on most of the windows (faux wood blinds in an office and plantation shutters for the remaining rooms), but the windows in our eat-in kitchen, family room, and dining room were bare. That is perfect for "showing" a house but not great for actually living in it. After reviewing Angie's List, I called Budget Blinds. Mr. Lewis promptly returned my call and we made an appointment for that Saturday morning (the day and time most convenient for us). He showed up exactly on time and was very pleasant and professional. We showed him our existing window coverings and explained what we wanted, but also asked for his input. His suggestions were fantastic. We ended up going with a slightly wider slat for our blinds (it went much better with the size of our rooms) than what we already had in the office and loved the molding he showed us, which would cover the top of the treatments. He measured our dining room window and was able to match the existing shutters perfectly. Since another gentleman would be installing the shutters (Alvaro), he would arrange for him to come to our home to re-measure (if we chose to purchase the window coverings). I liked that there would be nothing to chance or be "lost in translation" between the two installers. Again, the price was very fair--especially since he honored an Angie's List discount that was being advertised at the time. Needless to say, we purchased the package (only 50% up front for this custom job). His visit was followed by an email confirming approximately when the blinds would be ready for installation and that Alvaro would soon be contacting us. He returned about 2 & 1/2 weeks later and installed the blinds. He reminded me of their guarantee before he left. Our shutters were installed about week later. His kind "thank you" note arrived yesterday. It made me remember that I had meant to post a very positive review to this website--it's a way of "passing it forward" to anyone else in our situation. I couldn't be more pleased with the service we received from Brad Lewis.

Brad was prompt, professional and very fair on price. We were having a house-full for Thanksgiving and wanted new window treatments in the guest bedrooms. Brad showed me several options and I had enough money left over in our budget to even add a new roman shade in the Master Bath! The turn-around time on the blinds was quicker than anticipated and Brad called to schedule installation. He showed up right on time, did a wonderful job installing and even moved a heavy king-sized bed back and forth to make sure one of the blinds was hung properly. Overall I was very pleased with the experience and even received a hand-written "Thank-You" note from Brad....call me old-fashioned, but that type of service just isn't seen much any more these days. I, for one, greatly appreciated it. Would highly recommend and would use again.

Brad was quick to respond to the request for estimate. He assisted me to find quality window treatments within my budget. Product was delivered within timeframed promised. The windows looks absolutely fantastic! I could not be more pleased with the customer service and quality of the product. Highly recommend Brad and his company. I will use him again!

I love the new blinds. Brad was wonderful and very patient with me and my perfectionism. There was a slight measurement issue and Brad came back three times and even worked with my contractor to alleviate the one inch problem. They are perfect now and beautiful. I can't wait to get more new widow treatments by Brad in my home. I will use them again as long as my $$ holds run out.

Brad is the most awesome person. He is professional, polite, knowledgeable, curtious, prompt, understanding and willing to go the extra mile with customer service. He measured our windows in the master bedroom to include a sliding glass door and made suggestions regarding the type of product(s) we would be most happy using. The product he recommended for the sliding glass door is so cool. It meets our needs and is particularly good at keeping the bright morning summer sun out of the bedroom. We needed some adjustments to the window treatments once installed and Brad was right there to accomodate our likes/dislikes and handled everything with poise and professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend Brad and Budget Blinds to any of my friends, family or neighbors. Brad responded to my e-mail very promptly and scheduled an appointment to come measure and give an estimate for two large windows which I wanted to replace existing drapes with vertical blinds. He was prompt, friendly, not pushy and very helpful in recommending colors/type of blinds. Ordered blinds for both windows and a couple of weeks later he was back to remove the very heavy, old floor to ceiling drapes, and replace them with new vertical blinds. The installation was smooth and well done and he disposed of the old drapes and hardware at no extra charge. The blinds are nice, but it took time getting used to the new look in the living room after years of heavy, long drapes. I would not hesitate to call Brad again for any additional window treatments.

Brad came to give my estimate and was excellent in helping me make my decision and giving advice. On the installation date, he arrived on time and work effortlessly to get the job done - - he even installed new mini blinds which I had bought for my front door with a smile -- and no hesitation! Brad was professional and a joy to work with.

Brad provides excellent customer service from recommendations, measuring and excellent installation skills. I was extremely pleased with the the process from the beginning through installation. Brad is easy to work with, no pressure, punctual and very professional.

After calling Brad and setting up a consultation appointment, he came out as agreed. He listened to my needs and based on what I said, he showed me products that would accomplish my vision. He helped me to select colors. He repaired other shades in the house and suggested using one of the blinds that would be replace, in another room so I would not need to purchase another set. He put up the shades and subcontrated the window film job. The person who installed the window film, which was on another day, was accomodating by pulling off his shoes on the carpet just like Brad. Brad removed any boxes that the shades came in and put the old blinds where I specified. >

No only did Brad beat the other bids I had, he was quick and very professional. He did not use high pressure sales and made us feel comfortable. He is very thorough and his work is exellent. I would recommend him to my mom!

Brad was the consumate professional and provided outstanding service from beginning to end. He returned all telephone calls and arrived promptly for every appointment. During our initial meeting, he helped me determine the correct type of window treatments for my home by asking me questions and then showing me the features of various types of window coverings. The new window treatments arrived exactly within the timeframe as quoted (2 - 3 weeks), Brad removed the old window treatments from my home (including disposal of them) and installed the new ones in just four hours. I'm very pleased with how well the new window treatments look.

Brad was on time for the estimate. He was very professional, explained his product's warranty, took measurements. He followed up with a card thanking us for allowing him to provide us with an estimate and included a complimentary 30 minute massage with a local message therapist. Very impressive marketing! When we called to engage his services, he gave us an estimate of when the shades would come in and said he would call us and then set up an appointment to install the shades. The shades came in earlier than he had said and he came the next day and installed them. In addition, one of our other old shades in another room needed a slight repair and he did it free of charge. He was very personable and just an all around terrific workman. I highly recommend him

Brad was great! He replaced 10 pleated blinds on very long windows. In addition, 3 of the older blinds that were in good condition were placed on windows that did not have treatments previously. One of the older blinds did have to be cut down, but Brad did so without complaint. The blinds were back-ordered, but Brad went to bat for me and managed to get them in a timely manner. They arrived with cords that were too short, and he came out an additional time to replace them. Brad is very personable, professional and quick. I will definitely hire him again if I need window treatments!

I was remodeling a home and knew I wanted white shutters for the windows. Brad showed me the various styles/types, and I chose a type that I had been unaware of that had a very clean look without the bar in the middle that is normally used to open and close them. He measured all windows and said it would take about five weeks. When they arrived, he immediately called me, and he came on a Saturday to install, because he knew my home was finished, and I was ready to move in. He did an awesome job, and I love how they look. He cleaned up as he went, and I am 100% satisfied with everything! I would definitely use Brad again and highly recommend him to anyone. The price was very fair - I had eight windows of varying sizes.

Mr. Lewis was punctual, he even called to see if it was okay if he arrived a little earlier than expected. He had all the tools he needed for the job, was very courteous, kind and professional. I felt totally at ease the moment he walked in the door. Brad was great and very professional. His presentation was low key but thorough. He was punctual on both visits and he installed our blind in 20 minutes. One slat arrived broken but he is replacing it and not charging us our final payment until it is fixed. Nice guy and really good work. Price was great and it's guaranteed for 5 years. We would use him again in a minute-great experience.

I called for an appointment during the week and Brad Lewis was at my home that Saturday. He brought samples, explained the pros and cons of what I wanted and I made my choice based on his professional insight. His work is immaculate! My puppy was getting into midst of all the work that Brad was doing and not once did he complain--he stopped to play with the dog. Who does that? You will be so pleased with the work that Brad does--my daughter walked into my bedroom and asked, "Whose room is this?". The results were that dramatic. Brad's personality is such that by the time he is done you will want to invite him to Thanksgiving dinner. Oh, and being so pleased at the outcome, I ordered another plantation shutter for my guest room.

We had recently moved into a new home and needed wood blinds for the entrie upstairs bedrooms, master bathroom and vertical blinds for the downstairs slider door in the family room. When I called Brad to get estimates, described to him what we wanted, then gave him my home address, he told me that he had installed the same blinds in the exact same home we had purchased! Talk about luck, we were able to take care of the order transaction over a phone call and a couple of emails. He already had measurements for all the windows, so he didn't need to go to the house. He placed the order, then called me about 10 days later, exactly one day before the closing on our new home to tell me that the blinds were in...meaning that they were ALREADY INSTALLED! This is the best experience that I have ever had with a contractor and I have Angie's List and Brad Lewis to thank for! Brad is excellent and has raised the bar on customer service and satisfaction!!!

We had a terrific experience. Brad does all the in-home work himself, both the initial consultation as well as the installation. I really liked this part -- the same person in our home for the entire process. We were able to get an appointment very quickly, and Brad brought lots of samples for us to get ideas and to choose from. We discussed options (blinds vs. shutters), and Brad gave a thorough explanation regarding the pros and cons of each option. We were told it would take two weeks for the custom blinds to be made; they ended up being ready four days sooner than the original timeframe. Brad is very punctual, very professional, and easy to work with. His installation took less time than we expected, and the clean-up was perfect. He took the time to show us the features of the new blinds and made sure we were absolutely happy with the installation and the product before he left. These are custom blinds, and are not cheap -- but we also feel very confident that we bought a quality product that will last a very long time. We also know that if we ever have a problem, or want to get additional window treatments, Brad will provide top-quality service. I HIGHLY recommend Brad Lewis' Budget Blinds!

We got Brad's contact information from Angie's list and cannot be happier with the experience. Brad replied to our initial phone call right away and came to our house within days to take measurements and give us recommendations on different types of blinds for our kitchen and master bedroom. I had visited the Home Depot to get ideas in advance but Brad had way more options and gave us great advice on what would look better for us. He came back two weeks after and installed the two sets of blinds in under an hour. We are delighted with the result, the amazing discount Brad offered, and the quality of his work. He is a real pleasure to work with.

Arrived on time for initial appointment; clearly explained all options and the reasons why some work better than others; was clear about delivery time; shutter arrived a few days before the expected date; Brad arrived early for installation (called ahead to get our okay); working cleanly and neatly; removed and carted away old window covering, which he said would be donated to Good Will if still usable; explained how to operate and care for shutter. Everything we expect--one of the best service experiences we've ever had.

He came to our home, took all measurements, made recommendations on color and style to meet our aesthetic and budgetary needs, and was very flexible, patient and helpful. He installed the window treatments on two occasions, since they arrived in two separate shipments. When we had a post-installation question, he came out the same day. Brad really knows his product line, and he was terrific to work with. The windows and window treatments look great. Highly recommended!
