Description of Work: Matt helped us trouble shoot the reason we were getting air in the lines. He performed a bucket test and then he comes back out and replace all the piping around the motor and filter.

Description of Work: pumped out pool. cleaned and did a light acid wash on several spots. refilled pool and added needed start up chemicals. now maintains pool on a weekly basis.

Description of Work: Blue Moose Pool Care does our pool maintenance every month. He also fixed a leak that was going on in our pool and also got rid of a very bad algae problem.

Description of Work: We initially had the pool serviced in March or April of 2012 when our renters moved out and had not taken care of the pool for months. It cost us $1500.00 to have the pool drained, cleaned, refilled and serviced. Matt's service was excellent. He came with a high recommendation from another pool owner in the East Valley but he didn't service the West Valley and Matt does. We decided to hire Matt to take care of our pool monthly. We pay $105 monthly and he comes and services our pool once a week. We initially had to buy some chemicals that he didn't supply but we are very happy with the pool service and would recommend him to others.

Description of Work: This is an update on the below as I used Matt's services for more than two years and could not be more pleased with his work. He tells you what you need to know relative to your pool and proper functioning as opposed to what you would like to ideally hear; high integrity. After experiencing very disappointing and horrible pool service from other service providers; I decided to check the top rated pool providers in the Phoenix area as listed by Angies list. One of the top ten rated contractors in the Country was right here in the Phoenix area. I called him and explained my frustration with consistent poor quality pool service. (Examples included; different pool guy every week, pool not being cleaned, filters not being cleaned, equipment not being serviced, etc.) Unfortunately, this top rated contractor/pool cleaning provider, did not service my area. However, he understood my story and informed me about a new player who was providing service in my area and assured me that I would not be disappointed. Apparently, my experience is all too common in the Phoenix area. He provided the name and number and I called the owner of Blue Moose Pool Care, (Matt) left a message and he returned the call promptly. He was extremely flexible in arranging a time to meet and assess the my needs/concerns, pool, equipment, etc. I was impressed at the onset, as he arrived on a Saturday and spent a considerable amount of time cleaning the pool, equipment, and filter. He did the work even though our initial appointment was to be an assessment; not pool cleaning and remedies. He left for a short while to change his clothing and got to work in the blazing hot heat! The prior service provider was horrible and the pool had not been serviced to my satisfaction even though I had been receiving and paying for weekly pool service. Well to be clear, I am not even certain that our pool guy was actually showing up. Anyone that owns a pool knows that your pool it is a significant investment and quality pool care is critical. After the initial cleaning, the pool, equipment, and filters were clean and running properly. I have continued to use Blue Moose Pool Care and the pool is serviced weekly. The long and short is that you don't need to worry about the servicing, quality of cleaning, responsiveness, customer service, or any other aspect related to pool care. This quality care is incredibly hard to find. I made the initial assessment of this service provider in June 2008 and after eight months of consistent outstanding service; I am pleased and confident that anyone seeking the best pool care; will benefit from this provider. He is the first, and only, provider that I can say this about. This follows disappointing service from THREE prior pool service providers.
