I called Matt to inquire about a pool drain, acid wash, tile clean. He came out the next day and on-time. He was extremely professional and looked at several other issues I did not even ask about. I am pretty knowledgeable about pools, but he still gave me many ideas about my pool problem areas. He did some excellent troubleshooting and gave me some options and also some honest advice. How do I know it was honest advice? Well he could have told me other things that might have given him more work and money, but in my opinion his advice made more sense for me. That is honest. He just came out today, so I am still thinking about what to do, but I am comfortable saying that if you have pool concerns, don't hesitate to call on Matt with Blue Moose Pool Care.

We have a very difficult pool to take care of and it needs special attention on a regular basis. Matt does an excellent job of keeping it crystal clear and ready to be used at a moments notice. Blue Moose has been great! I hired them about 5 years ago to replace my pool pump, light and some other plumbing and Matt gave me some great advice that saved me hundreds of dollars. Then last year the pool service company I was using was not doing a very good job. I found out from a friend that Blue Moose had moved into Scottsdale and could service my pool. Since we have switched our pool has looked amazing! Not only that, Matt doesn’t over chlorinate the pool so it’s actually really enjoyable and refreshing for us. This has been great because our pool gets a lot of sun and we have some big trees around the pool that make it hard to keep clean. If you want a professional and friendly pool company at a very fair price I definitely recommend the Blue Moose!

Matt showed up on time, did the job for the price quoted, and got our pool pump working better than it ever has, despite the many pool repair people we've had before him. He's the consummate professional, as they say, and a great guy to work with. He also gave us some tips on how to keep our pool pump working at its peak performance, and even provided us with the name of a pool supply store whose prices seem to be lower than Leslie's. We'll stick with him from here on out.

We called this business on 6/17 and left a message. We received a call back on 6/18 saying they would be at our house on Friday 6/22/18, but no one showed up or called. Very unprofessional.

Matt got the job done, he diagnosed and fixed everything and the pool is working as good as new. If you want a personable guy that also is very knowledgeable, and has fair and reasonable pricing, he’s your man and rare find. Felt like he was very honest.

Our pool had a cloud issue that Matt diagnosed promptly & advised what to do. He also gave us a quote for ongoing pool maintenance that was very reasonable. The pump on our pool (play pool about 10'x25') finally bit the dust. It was leaking a bit. It was always noisy but then started to get noisier. Real noisy. Blue Moose has taken care of our pool for 2 years so we had Matt give us an estimate. Above all else we wanted a quiet pump. Matt recommended the Pentair Intelliflo a variable speed 3HP pump to replace the old (noisy) single speed one. The plumbing was the original and had leaks in the past and was a 10 (out of 10) on the Rube Goldberg scale. It was replaced from the filter to the pipes that go into the ground and all points in between. New valves, new backwash plunger thing, all new. Matt did the initial work and then had his pool plumbing guy Randy come out and do the plumbing. The final result is terrific. It's quiet, the pool vacuum has never worked better, the plumbing is professional looking, it's quiet, they set everything up to run at 2 speeds, showed me how to program the pump should I ever want to change the schedule, and did I mention it's quiet? I won't know about any savings on the electric bill for a month or few but it should cost less to run than the old one.

The consultation was great. He was very thorough in checking things out and i couldn't be more thrilled. He explained all of his services and the costs and I agreed to a monthly service plan. After I left, Matt stayed and worked on the pool, fine tuning and cleaning the walls floors and steps for nearly an hour. He called me when he was done and explained everything again. If you want a first class individual working on your pool, I highly suggest giving Matt a call. I assure that you will not be disappointed.

We are very pleased with the service provided by Matt from Blue Moose Pool Care. We bought the house almost a year ago and "found" him on Angie's List. Based on all the good reviews we hired him and have not regretted it once. It is so nice to have someone reliable that always shows on time and never is too busy to answer question (I sometimes have many). We would recommend him in a heartbeat!

I called to have our pool looked at in the new house we bought. The pool needed work beyond what the pool service so we need some work done first. Matt was very helpful and knowledgeable with what needs to be done and we will use this company in the future.

I called Matt yesterday because my pool pump had quit running. He came out today and checked the pump out. Today the pump was running. He checked the pump out and gave me several options if the pump acted up again. I then asked him several questions about general pool maintenance. He answered all of my questions fully. I found him very knowledgeable and friendly. He took a picture of my pump and the pump setup so he would be ready when I called him needing a new pump. I enjoyed meeting Matt and will definitely use him for my pool repair needs in the future. I should also add that when I asked him how much I owed him for his service call, he replied that there was no charge since he was in the area anyway. That's how you earn a new customer!

When I messaged Blue Moose I got a response back promptly from Matt with contact info to set up an appointment. I called and gave him some basic info asking for a ball park on pricing which saved us both time.
