Arizona Tile and Stone Specialist

There were 2 parts to this experience. The work itself & guy who did it was fine -- professional, effective and polite. The problem was getting the work done. | |I purchased on 10/16. The reason was we had guests coming and we wanted our home to look good. Provided three dates: 10/21, 10/22 and 10/29, per request on form. Got first response on 10/17 from provider and answered questions on work by 10/20. Didn't hear anything for a week, so I inquired on 10/27. Had a fairly contentious phone call in which provider - the owner - said he couldn't get work done by first week of November, which was when our guests were arriving. What bothered me was there was no, "We blew it. Sorry." There was only, "Tough luck." After this phone call, I didn't hear back. On 11/17, I emailed about getting service because, you know, we HAD ALREADY PAID FOR IT. He said, "Of course." But, again, silence. No appointment was scheduled. | |I emailed back on 12/9, again asking for date and time. Finally, we got together on 12/17. | |The person who came out and did the work was professional and it seemed he put in a good effort. Of course, the work only covered 300 ft, so we had an extra $193 added to bill. Even then, I would have given a better rating IF WE HAD BEEN GIVEN SOME DISCOUNT TO RECOGNIZE THE LOUSY SERVICE. | |But we weren't. There was no recognition on part of provider that he had fallen well short of the A-list service folks who use Angie's list expect. | |Bottom line: The price on these things is a lure. Who has 300 feet of stone flooring? But I knew that going in. What I didn't know is it would take 2 months to get the work done and along the way I'd run into indifferent service. | |I'm sure the provider will have his own version of events, but he can't argue with the simple fact the purchase was made on 10/16 and it took TWO MONTHS to get the job completed. The fault for that falls entirely upon him, as my four different efforts to contact and set a date & time confirms.

They showed up on time, were very professional and did a great job! The tile looks great!

The team was professional, informative and cleaned up on their way out. I have had the stone and grout cleaned before by other companies, but this is the best result.

Alex came by 2 weeks before to measure and assess my flooring. We set a date for cleaning and the additional polishing. They (Alex and another guy) prepped the walls and cabinets which actually took about half the time to clean the floor. Floors look great. They have a great shine to them.

Took a few days to get the appointment, all full. Then scheduled for Black Friday between 8-10. No One came, they called at 0845 to tell me the tech was rear ended on 1-0. Okay, rescheduled for Dec. 12 at 11-1pm. I did not do 300 sq. feet which would have been my whole living room. I will use them again, the kitchen floor is looking brand new.

They showed up on time, very polite and professional. I had a few stains they weren't able to get out but they certainly gave it their best efforts. Nice guys, good company.

After some minor communication issues, I was put on the schedule for service. The crew showed up right on time and did a great job on the tile. It was like night and day! They were friendly, professional and completed the job quickly. I will definitely use them again.

Men arrived, measured the allowed amount in the offer and carried out the procedure quickly and efficiently. they were most pleasant and conscious of my limited mobility with a walker. Nice people!

Cody and Alex came a little early (which was great for me) They did an excellent job, I will be calling them again for sure. The only minor peoblem I had was getting an appointment set in the beginning.

They are scheduled to come Friday the 21st, however according to phone conversation with them fine print excludes what I expected to have done and I will have to pay in addition to the cost of the voucher. I haven't cancelled in case I can't get a refund and it took me weeks and multiple tries to get in touch with someone and to make an appointment. Overall unsatisfactory and a time drain. I wanted tile cleaned and sealed in master and guest bath. That included shower floor which is even with floor and also the counter. Altogether if fell under the 300 square feet the coupon states. My top preference is a refund of my money spent on the coupon.

Apparently our location is out of their service area although that didn't seem to be the case in looking at their information.

It was a fair price. They did a really good job. They were efficient. They were very professional, they did a good job.

Arizona Tile and Stone was very courteous in scheduling the job and was flexible in changing the desired work date. They arrived within their 2-hour window and were finished in about 30 minutes. All the grout was cleaned perfectly, except for a couple of spots in the kitchen, which were explained satisfactorily as cooking stains.

They were very professional and gave me an estimate on the actual cost. I wasn't able to utilize the deal for the project that I needed done. I decided not to go with the repairs and am seeking a refund on the deal.

When I spoke to him on the phone I asked him specifically if he could remove the red wine stains from the grout in the living room floor and also clean and reseal the master bathroom floor. He was unable to do anything in the master bath because he said he didn't bring the correct tools. I thought that odd as I had told him what material I thought it was. All the floors looked really clean and the grout looked very good, until I examined the wine stains I had shown him when he first arrived. They were a bit brighter, but the grout was still darker than the surrounding grout. He said he would need a special pumice to return the grout to its original color. He did not bring that with him either! It seems that they did not come prepared to do the work I requested, only for this was I disappointed. The two gentlemen were clean, neat and very focused on the work. They were very careful with my carpets and furnishings and pretty much replaced everything they had to move out of their way. All the tile just glistened when they left and I felt like my floors were really clean. I would hire them again. I paid much more than the $99 special price, but I added much more square footage to the job. I felt their price was fair.

I'd like to start w/ the "F" rating given by a precious reviewer. I've had my floors cleaned yearly for 13 years and Arizona Tile & Stone was among the lowest prices we've paid. The Angie's List price was based upon 300 sq/ft. Any additional area is extra; we had additional area and paid extra. No bait and switch, just a fair price in total.. That said, AZ Tile & Stone brought my stone floor closer to it's original state than any other service I've used. The guys were cordial, clean and efficient. I'd recommend w/o hesitation.

That turned very well. The owner and his employee came out to do the service. I think it took them a couple of hours. They did this in the kitchen and bathrooms. They were courteous and they were helpful with the floor maintenance. They also gave me additional tips.

Went fantastic. The owner and his worker showed up about 20 minutes early and were very professional in appearance and attitude. A pleasant surprise in today's world. I ordered the Angie's list deal but added quite a bit more but the pricing was excellent. The work took about an hour and a half after . It looked great. The floor and grout were filthy from the previous home owner. Now it feels like my house is actually a home and feels like mine now. They moved around some pretty heavy furniture and there was no big upgrade sales pitch just an overall nice deal.

They were professional and punctual. Cody called to check on the time we agreed on and they showed up punctually as promised. Some grout had discolored over the years and Cody used sealant I had to make color adjustments. He did a great job and knows a lot about grout and sealants and explained things clearly. He is very conscientious and customer-oriented. Highly recommended.

Two men were punctual and went right to work measuring my floor space, The area to be cleaned exceeded the square footage in the "deal" so we agreed on the additional cost. I had already moved furniture to make the tile more accessible. After about 2 hours the job was completed..

The service went really well and the results looked great. It only took a little over an hour.

Cody, the manager of Arizona Tile and Stone Specialist, called me back on Tuesday morning, April 22nd, after I left a message for him on Easter monday, not knowing he was closed that day. He offered me his first available appointment at that time, which was for the morning of May 1st. He called me Monday evening, April 28th, explaining that one of his trucks had broken down and asked if he could reschedule me for Tuesday morning, April 29th. It worked out with my schedule, so he showed up with his assistant at 11 a.m. sharp, ready to measure the area and go to work. I thought he did a quality and professional job cleaning the tile and grout, but I'm a guy, so it didn't look all that bad to begin with, but looked cleaner when he left. The real difference was noticed by my wife when she came home. She was amazed by how clean the tile and grout looked and in her opinion thought they did an excellent job. When my wife approves the work, you know it's a quality job. My neighbor was looking for someone to do her tile, so I asked for an extra card and Cody offered her a discount coupon to use on her job if she decided to call him.

Cody arrived at my house on time. He was very professional, explained what he was doing, and answered all my questions about the tile. He completed the work in a timely fashion. I would use Arizona Stone & Tile Specialists again.
