The staff was helpful and knowledgeable, showed us working models of the different types of fireplaces, explained the differences between direct vent and vent free, provided pricing and installation specs and timeframes for installation. We got a great overview of what we would experience should we decide to move ahead with the remodeling of our living room media wall. They took their time answering all our questions and even invited us to return the next weekend when additional fireplace models would be up and running in their showroom. We are still reviewing our fireplace options and how they will fit into our remodeling budget, but we will definitely return to AZ Fireplace when we are ready to move ahead.

They came to the house and inspected the chimney & provided a quote within a few days. When the new cap was complete, I was able to pick it up and paint it (house color) before installing. They completed the installation when scheduled. Everything went smoothly.

Arizona Fireplace called me to schedule right away and came at scheduled time. He evaluated the problem with the fireplace pilot and fixed it quickly. Its working great now.

The customer service department was stellar. Versus wasting my time with setting up an appointment for an unnecessary job, the service department operator was so knowledgable about the regulations in my city, she informed me that my city regulated that all dampers are in the permanent open position. I guess I should send my city my utility bills! Thank you, AZ Fireplace for saving me time and money on this call. Should I need service on my fireplace in the future, you will be the first place I contact.

The entire experience was excellent. Mark was knowledgeable and professional. We thought this might be a bigger problem but Mark was able to determine in short order that a flu adjustment was all that was necessary. I already have them on my calendar to call for a maintenance appointment in 2015! This is a great company and the service was outstanding. I recommend them without reservation.

When they originally came out they rearranged the logs to the manufacturers specifications. I called them back a few days later to advise it was still smoking. They returned adding a cap on the chimney so the smoke would draw correctly. I was not charged until the issue was corrected.

I wasn't home personally, but the maintenance was effective, and the fireplace works as it should now.

Discovered a problem with the gas flow regulator and called for an appointment. Chad (the technician) was on time and very professional. He determined that the problem could be addressed easily by turning the knob differently. He did not want to replace the entire control module just because it was a bit "sticky". He thoroughly explained how best to correct the problem. I discussed how I wanted to upgrade the fireplace next year and he recommended that I postpone replacing the control mechanism until the upgrade. Chad cleaned the fireplace area and tested the entire system. He also made some recommendations on the fireplace upgrade after we discussed what I was intending to do in the future. He wrote up his recommendations so that I could reference them when we upgrade in 12 months.

It was a very good expereince. They have excellent salespeople. The installation went flawlessly. They have great selection to choose from. The overall experience I could not have been happier with.

Wish I could split this report: Mark, the technician who did my estimate and later installation, was prompt, professional, seemed to have an encyclopedic memory about parts and dimensions, and left everything clean and neat. I would use him again in a heartbeat. Dealing with the office was a totally different story. After the estimate was done and I put down a deposit, they actually found a replacement for my door by a defunct manufacturer, eliminating the expensive possibility of having to have one custom-made. However, no one ever bothered to let me know. Two months later, it took three calls over two weeks before my paperwork was found. It took another five calls to find out the actual door existed; the people I was told to speak with were never available, often didn't return my voicemails. My deposit was denied, I was told it had "expired," then found (after I provided date and details) but underquoted. Problems were repeatedly blamed on warehouse inefficiency. This may be the case, but if it is, they need to address it internally rather than continually wah-wah'ing to the customer about it. Finally, I was accidentally transferred to Richard, the manager, who personally called back that same day to tell me they had my door and would schedule the installation as soon as possible. I have purchased several difficult-to-find gas fireplace parts from them since 1996. They have probably the best selection in town, are sometimes the only supplier. Office responsiveness always varied, but this was a new low. This could be a great company with better office staff training and (possibly) better inventory management, but for now, expect to bird-dog any problems.

Enclosed gas fireplace had never been cleaned since it had been installed when the house was built in 1996. Full of dirt and dust. We were afraid to use it. Previous owners of home never cleaned, serviced nor left information regarding fireplace. I called Arizona Fireplace, they knew exactly what I was talking about, made an immediate appointment. Called first, arrived on time, did an excellent job, serviced and cleaned the fireplace, checked the outside connection. Left everything spotless. Serviceman was extremely polite, knew what he was doing. An excellent job.

It went well, arrived earlier than estimated time (which was nice); work took about an hour; added vermiculite & one fitting, easy install. Pricing just seemed high for labor only for this type of work, but the fireplace works and we're happy with that.

Great, he was super fast and re-organized my fireplace logs and stuff and made it look good and it works fine now.
