Description of Work: I had the guys pack a storage pod in my driveway. They were efficient, professional, and hard working! I am planning to call them to unpack it. They were great!

Description of Work: Movers were awesome! The guys were very careful with our things and worked well together. It took 2 trucks and 12 hours to get us moved with four very capable guys.The only "problem" we had was that the owner called his workers around 5pm and wanted two of the guys to go to another job! They still had 1 1/2 trucks to unload. We had a large house to move and were already exhausted! We sure didn't want to lose 2 guys. When my husband attempted to call the owner directly he wouldn't answer. We wrestled with the possibility of two men leaving for about an hour, but eventually all the guys stayed and we were finally done by 8pm. Had this not occured I would have given the company an A++. The movers did an excellent job and were very effecient. They did not take a lunch break and worked very hard. The owner should be more aware of the time and work force needed to move a large home.

Description of Work: Pros-3 man team carefully wrapped all of our furniture and loaded it into moving van. Removed wrap and set in place in our new home. They did a very good job, They were very careful with all of the furniture as well as walls, etc in the homes. The company does not charge extra for stairs or anything else-they charge only by the hours. Cons-Hourly rate is higher than many other moving companies and they did take quite a bit longer to do the move than previous moving companies (although much more carefully).

Description of Work: Arizona Discount Movers was incredibly professional. They moved my mother's belongs out of her assisted care facility to my home. I have already with them with their company and gave the two gentlemen the highest marks ( I just can't remember their names now). I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them

Description of Work: i called to set a date to move the furniture and found out that i would need to pay an additional charge of $100 to service coolidge az. they also estimated the move time might require more than one day to complete which seemed excessive.

Description of Work: I hired a moving company who advertised 2 hours for $99 to pick up furniture at a warehouse. They were to pick up TWO orders. They only picked up one and did not question the warehouse. They were not inclined to go back for the other order until I insisted they follow through with the job. The guys stayed late and finished the delivery and set up and they were nice about it. The manager or owner of the company could have called me to discuss but he did not even though I asked to speak to him. They could have made me a referral and repeat customer if they would have done a follow up call.

Description of Work: The work involved moving my belongings from my 1-bedroom apartment to a house approximately one and a half mile apart. There were two workers. They moved about 100 boxes of varying sizes, and they wrapped and moved the furniture. Once at the new house, they unpacked all the same pieces. They had to take apart and reassemble two beds.

Description of Work: We were very pleased with this company. They were very quick, efficient and professional. They put protective barriers around the stairs and on the floor, so they didn't mark up a thing!

Description of Work: After 18 assignments in 27 years of actie duty in the Air Force I believe I can speak to the quality of moving companies. Discount Movers delivered on their committment to provide punctua, and professional service. Their crews worked non stop filling two days with hard work (1/7 and 1/8). They met every challenge moving very heavy furniture from a 2nd floor condo into a two story house. They never complained (even after one of them crunched his hand between a couch and a wall), they thought things through, looked at options, and padded and shrink wrapped each delicate piece of china, crystal, antique furniture, and other breakable objects. I could not be happier with Angie's List and the quality of service i received from Discount Movers. They both get a Five Star rating.

Description of Work: AZ Movers arrived at the storage unit on time, sorted through my stuff, loaded it on their truck, delivered it to my home, unloaded with patience and a smile and finished with an offer to do more if necessary. I should have let them!!! :)

Description of Work: Our friend recommended this company. They came and gave us an estimate for a flat rate move. The day before they called to confirm the appt. They had promised 3 movers and a truck by 7:30 am on 12/21/12. They showed up late and had only 2 workers. This made a huge difference in how long the move took. While the movers were unloading boxes in our new home, the movers had a fight and one of them stormed off leaving only one mover. I spent about 30-40 minutes on the phone trying to get a hold of the manager. Once I spoke to him, he was unapologetic and did not show any empathy for the situation. Another crew showed up about 2 hours later and they finally finished the move by 10 pm. Overall...not a easy company to deal with. The only positive experience was Ray (the mover).

Description of Work: Move from Athwatukee to Tempe, 10 mins drive apart. Quoted $80/hr for three men and a truck plus $80 to start. Got the Angie's list 10% off but no boxes. I was told I got one or the other. They called me two days prior to confirm the date. They arrived 30 minutes early. They wrapped everything up very well and took out all our boxes. Restacked boxes in the designated rooms, although some are in the wrong rooms now, as we finding out as we unpack. Reassembled our big items as requested. Overall, they did well caring for the walls and furniture as they moved in pieces. Didn't lose much steam as they worked. They round up to the nearnest hour, so we went over 15mins and got billed for the full hour.
