They showed up and got down to business. We took a tour of the house and I pointed out everything that need to be loaded. The got directly to it and did it well and quickly. Once we got to the other house the put everything were we wanted it to be and hooked up appliances with ease. I was impressed.

The guys did a great job. They had to get a large leather sofa out of a 3rd floor condo down a narrow stairwell. Really tough job. They worked really hard considering the 110 degree heat. Padded and wrapped all furniture items. No damage. I would use them again

I explained to the guy who answered that I needed a couple of guys to load a u-haul that I was taking out of state. He rattled off a litany of charges: I mean it was so fast I couldn't catch it all. ..$75.00 truck fee (I'm not using their truck, but ok I understand they don't make exceptions) --$75.00 an hour for 2 guys min of 2 hours, that's ok too, but then he said he would charge me a percentage of the total cost of service for a GAS surcharge. I wasn't sure I understood or that he understood MY situation, so I repeated back to him his list of charges just to make sure I got it right, When I got to the EXTRA GAS SURCHARGE, I asked, "You are Charging ME a 'gas surcharge' when I'm using MY truck?"CLICK... HE HUNG UP ON ME! I COULDN'T BELEIVE IT! HOW RUDE!! I was trying to understand ALL the pricing. Hmmm, he must realize how prices are FALLING at he pump and, I am NOT using HIS truck, and then he's still going to charge me an EXTRA GAS SURCHARGE for GAS AND TRUCK I"M NOT USING. THEN HE HANGS UP in the middle of my question! Not only is that RUDE, but tells me he knows what he's charging is not fair or right for my situation! I did NOT have a chance to tell him I found him on Angies LIST!No one has hung up on me since I was 14! I'm a LONG way from that age. HOW RUDE!!

Things went very well. The guys were great and they helped make my move as hassle free as possible!

I'm skeptical of movers, but Billy and Kenneth were enthusiastic, helpful, careful and respectful. I definitely felt like I'd hit the jackpot. Their "whatever you want" attitude was refreshing. I will be moving again in 6 months and I am definitely requesting them.

Team arrived on time, or a few minutes early. They walked the house with us to see what they needed to move and what not. They carefull wrapped all the pieces with pads and shrink wrap, Everything was loaded onto the truck in about 3 hours, then we drove together to the new house. The team unloaded carefully and placed the furniture where we asked. One minor ding on the bullnose of the baseboard but it wasn't really their fault; a piece came loose from the footboard of the bed. Easily repaired.All in all they did a good job and I would use them again.

I have only one complaint and that is they showed up 30 minutes early. I should have been happy to see them but was caught a bit off guard as I was trying to get my children off to school. They offered to come back in 30 minutes but I got over myself and showed them around and they got right to work. I am glad I did, they worked quite independently. One man was in the truck packing it as the other two men began wrapping furniture items and carrying them out. They worked quickly, cautiously, efficiently and professionally. Moving furntiure, packing it in a truck without breaking it is a fine art/science. This job takes experience and these three men worked very well together. The movers were professional and polite and were interested in making the experience stress free. They moved our large queen size bed, a large sectional, a heavy credenza, a delicate buffet and large dining table, three twin and a double mattress, three televisions, and lots of smaller pieces and lots of boxes. The move took from 730a-2p. The drive from one house to the other was less than five minutes. They put together the beds, moved and hooked up the refrigerator, washer and dryer so fast. Impressive work. I want to impress how hard they worked and how quickly they completed the job. They did not waste my money.

Calling around for quotes, AZ Discount Moves gave me a competitive price and an honest estimate- no luring me in with guesses of a 4 hour move. I reserved the spot, and as promised, was contacted a few days out to re-confirm. Gary and his crew showed up as promised and got to work right away after I showed them what was staying and what was going. They worked hard, efficiently, and carefully- everything you would want in a crew. The worked equally hard and carefully to unload everything, and finished way before I thought they would. The crew was friendly, professional, and diligent. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat.

I have had two moves in the past three months, first out of my house into an apartment, then out of the apartment into my new house. After a terrible experience with the first move (upcharges on everything, unprofessional, etc...) I decided to check Angie's List. I found Arizona Discount Movers and was thrilled with their service. 3 men at $90/hr. They completed the job in just over 3 hours, working hard the entire time. They were professional, courteous, careful with my property, friendly and really made moving an enjoyable experience. Best of all, the final price was well below what I estimated it would be. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone in the Phoenix area. Thank you Roy, Jerry and Arnold for a job well done.

Very professional, courteous & FAST!! I only needed them for a couple of hours, they were early but I wasn't ready so they waited to show up. They arrived & loaded all the stuff in the truck & met me at my new place, then unloaded it where I instructed them.

Great movers, great experience. Moved lots of heavy items down and up stairs much more efficiently than I ever could have. Would definitely recommend and/or use again.

Billy, Carl and Marcus were exceptional. Billy was the lead hand and was organized, friendly and efficient. Costs came in very reasonable. They were very careful and wrapped all the furniture and even had mattress bags. Based on the initial information I gave to James our move was estimated to take 2 hours with two guys. Well, just like most moves, we underestimated the amount of things to be moved. The two guys started promptly at location one, met at location two and then ended up at our final destination {home} 4 1/2 hours later. They moved swiftly, cautiously with the larger pieces and took great care with the maneuvering of the bulky items. We were pleased with the care they gave in spite of the overall six hour move. We would recommend them highly.

Our movers were Roy, Jerry and Youseff and they were amazing. They were fast, efficient, respectful, helpful and very professional. They worked very hard and wouldn't even stop for breaks. They were so careful--we did not even have one scratch on our walls or furniture--even though they had to maneuver around tight corners. We have never had a better moving experience. In fact, the reason we joined Angie's List was because we needed a mover and our last experience with Father & Sons was a total nightmare!

All household goods, including furniture were loaded on a truck, kept safe over-night and delivered the next day. The moving crew was very professional and did not damage any item. The company gave a guaranteed fixed price quote, which it honored. Over-all it was an excellent experience.

Multiple issues from the start. Contacted AZM the day before the move to confirm and was informed that my daughter had moved the date back a week, this was incorrect. Contacted Jay and it was finally determined that someone with a similar first name and moved their date and it got mixed up with our move. I suggest using last names or addresses to confirm contractual issues and changes, not first names. I believe this lead to our other issues. Movers arrived on time the next morning to move 2 truck loads of furniture to new house 20 miles away. When locating the furniture in the new house, we noticed multiple (12) black stains on the new carpet in a spare bedroom where furniture had been unloaded. When this was brought ot the attention of the movers, we were told we must have done it by one of the movers and this resulted in a verbal confrontation with my daughter. The house had just been closed and final walk through the day before. At first we belived the stains to be oil or grease from the truck since it was leaking oil. However, we now believe it may have been toner from the blankets. After threatening to leave with the remaining furniture, they were allowed to complete the move. I arrived later that evening and asked the lead mover to come look at the carpet with me and was told no and that he would not discuss the matter anymore. Finally got them to agree to send out a cleaning company on Monday to remove stains. Late Monday afternoon a worker arrived with waht looked like a rented machine, not a professional cleaninig company. Stains were not removed and we had to have the carpet cleaned ourselves the following Tuesday. Other than these issues the move went OK. Please remember the Customerr is not always wrong or at fault.

Garry & Sylvester were outstanding. They arived 30 min. early at my Daughters home after calling to see if that was ok. They then moved my Daughter & her Grandson from her Condo in Mesa to our home in Gilbert. When they arived at my home they moved 1/2 dozon or more very heavy pieces of Oak furniture into other rooms of my home before moving my daughters furniture and belongings in. Garry & Sllvester worked continusiously for seven hours and remained extremly professional, courteous and easy going the whole time and were a pleasure to have in our home. I would definetly use AZ Discount Movers again if I need moving service and I would definetly recomend them to others.

AZ Discount movers did a great job. Thought the hourly rate was high but their efficiency and organization made it worth it. They moved several thousand pounds of my stuff into a 28 foot truck, moved 10 miles and unloaded it all in 4.5 hours with 3 guys.. The used good handling equipment , shrink wrapped everything, and were very careful not to damage anything. I had a few very large items like a treadmill and stereo cabinet and I was impressed by the techniques they used into putting them into smaller rooms in the new house I was able to pack most of my stuff that would go in boxes - into boxes , before moving day. That helped speed things up too. I am really glad I called on them and happily tipped the crew.

They said their price was higher per hour but they do not charge you for any extra charges. Mike, Gerry, and Fransisco came when they said, got rite to work, and asked questions about what goes where. They were very efficient. It worked out really well. They did what they said they were going to do and did not change anything.

I chose this company after reading the reviews on Angie's List. I received a detailed quote from William by email and then followed up with a phone call to him to schedule one week before my move. Three guys, Rene, Tony and Bubba arrived on time and went straight to work. They all had positive attitudes (which is a bonus when doing such a hard job), were very courteous and moved fast. I've had movers before that milked the clock, not these guys! They worked well together and had fun doing it which kept me in a good mood, too! Thanks for making this move so easy for me!!

I spent $2,500 on them. They did everything for me. They were wonderful. I was recovering from a surgery and my husband was working. So, they did everything for me. I did not use their storage facility. I would recommend them to anybody. They were just so nice and fabulous. I would rate them very highly. I would absolutely use them again.
