They arrived on time. I walked through the house pointing out the pieces I wanted moved. They moved. They completed the work in less than an hour. They left.

Very efficient and took great care in not damaging the furiture or the walls/door casings. I would highly recommend them for future use.

The moving team (Dido & Glenn) arrived promptly as scheduled, did the job properly and professionally, and got the work done in the shortest time possible. They were both extremely courteous, friendly and professional. They did "all the right stuff" to ensure that our furniture and other belongings were moved safely and without damage. I was provided a 3-hour window for the moving to commence and was told that I would get a call 30 mins prior to movers showing up. 2 hours elapsed and I did not hear back prompting me to call them. They informed me that due to heavy rains, the moves that day were running late and I should be expecting them shortly. The movers did not show up in the promised 3-hour window. I called again and was told because of accidents on the highway they were running late. Once they arrived, they were prompt in moving and packing. The furniture was protected with pads to ensure no damage. The mattress covers they got did not fit - I had been asked for the mattress size when I booked so I was surprised that they were not prepared. It did not help that it was a rainy day and the mattresses had to be exposed to the rains. Overall, the loading was smooth. They were prompt in showing up at the destination. Unpacking and assembling furniture was done very professionally. Overall, a pleasant experience and would use them again.

Arizona Discount Movers arrived at my Apt on time and began right away after I signed the paper work. Ronnie and Kennith were great. They were friendly and careful with the move but at the same time very quick. It took them 3 hours to load my furniture drive an hour and unload. I would recamend Arizona Discount Movers and would ask for Ronnie and Kennith.

I was never concerned for the safety or security of my items the first time, however, the second time I noticed that some boxes and items were briefly left unattended in the elevator of the storage facility or in the open truck. Nevertheless, I was pleased with their efficiency and work ethic.

We had a great experience with this company from start to finish. Amy, was a pleasure to do business with via phone. She obtain all of our pertinent and scheduled us for the day we wanted. She also gave us a reminder call the day before the move. The movers, Ronnie and Simon, arrived 15-minutes early and were ready to go. They were very professional, courteous, friendly, and efficient. We highly recommend Arizona Discount Movers and plan to use their services again in the near future.

The move went well and they had actually 3 helpers... So with that considering we got alot for what we paid for which was an extra helper. Do be prepared and have everything boxed before they arrive... otherwise you'll have idle time and they are on your clock. I definitely would recommend these folks.

The whole process was timely and professional.

The movers arrived half an hour late; we had agreed on an 8:00 AM start and they arrived at 8:30 AM. Other than that the move went off without any problems.

It was good. They moved steady but not rushed, took extra care when needed. Paperwork was explained clearly. A good straight forward professional experience. Even setting the up the appointment was pleasant. I had to reschedule 5 days before the original date ( and they had no problems with it). After all the grief I have had with other companies lately (looking at you BOA), its was a nice experience to a grey situation, and somehow made it more ok. I would use them again.

The movers where great. Everything was packed very well. The person I talked with to set up and schedule the move (Amy P) was the most professional of any of the moving companies I talked with to get estimates. I highly recommend them over any of the other movers rated high on Angie's List because they were the most legitimate, professional company of any I talked with. The others sounded like they were run out of the family home and there were too many unanswered questions. Amy P explained everything clearly and the service we received was exactly as expected. They were great and got it all done in a two-hour period. They worked hard and did not waste any time. They were responsive, on time and very professional.

They were very attentive to thecare of the furniture and the placement of it; they wrapped the furniture appropriately before packing it. They followed me to the storage unit and placed everything into the unit appropriately. They were very flexible with the changes. They were plesant and professional. The hourly rate was reasonable. I would use them again to move items.

The crew gave me a call about 45 minutes prior to arrival to let me know they were on the way and showed up promptly at 8:00. The three movers were all very friendly and professional. Large items such as beds were quickly disassembled and other large pieces were wrapped in plastic to prevent damage. Since the move was only about 1 mile, they decided that it would be quicker to make two trips. Everything would have been able to fit in one load but it would have required more time to load the truck. In the end, the original estimate of 6 hours was very close -- about 6.5 hours actual and the price was per estimate. Overall we were very satisfied and would not hesitate to use Arizona Discount Movers in the future and are happy to recommend them to others.

fResponsiveness was marginal. Calls went unanswered or were tardy. Otherwise the actual interstate move went smoothly. Their price was in the ballpark.

Over all, very well. The crew was delayed by several hours and we were notified by phone of their progress. When it became late in the day, we were given the option of working into the night or rescheduling to the next morning, which we chose. The crew arrived on time the next morning. They worked very quickly and carefully with no damage. On arrival at the new site, they were very helpful, placing cartons and furniture exactly where requested. Good job.

The crew showed up on time when they committed to be there. They were professional and friendly and had everything they needed to move the contents of the apartment. Where needed, they disassembled bed frames and furniture to move them, and wrapped furniture pieces to prevent scratches or damage during the move. When the truck was unloaded, they put all of the contents where we specified, reassembled furniture as requested, and ensured that everything was in place, as we needed it, before they left. There were some furniture and appliance items we decided to donate, and they delivered those items to two separate places for us. The move took longer and was a little more expensive than they estimated, but I requested the quote over the phone, we had a garage packed with stuff way beyond the typical 2 bedroom apartment move, and more time was required to deliver items to 2 other locations. I wasn't surprised that it took longer than a typical 2 bedroom apt move. If they were able to see the place when they did the quote, I'm confident the that the estimate would have been closer to the actual time required. There was no damage to our possessions and overall it was a good experience. I would use Arizona Discount Movers for my next move and recommend them to friends.

It was their last move of the day and was scheduled from between noon and four. They arrived at one minute before four. The two men, John and Mike, were friendly and professional. They inventoried what needed to be done and began work almost immediately. After leaving the apartment they were delayed by approximately 10 minutes due to taking the wrong route to the house. They unloaded the furniture and delivered it where they were told each item was to go. Overall they did a good job.

I hope we never have to move again, but if we do, we are calling Jim's people!!

4 men had to pack and haul 3100 sq. ft houseful of furniture, pictures and boxes (already boxed). It took 7 hours on a 115 degree sunny day in Phoenix. No complaints from anyone. They were efficient and cheerful. And only stopped working to break for less than a 30 minute lunch. Will use this company when our new house is built to bring out stored items to the new residence.

Long story short is these guys were really starting to impress me but disappointed me at the end. I hired a moving company because though I've helped plenty of friends move before, I'm relatively new to this area and don't know many people who could help. So I joined Angie's and looked up Arizona Discount Movers, which had consistently good reviews. They accommodated my schedule on short notice, and because of a larger job after mine, they actually gave me a discounted rate for a three-man crew, instead of the two-man crew I had originally requested. I got the call a half-hour before they arrived. And when they arrived, I was impressed with the speed at which they worked. Of course, when you have a third man around, you don't always see him. Maybe sometimes he's having a smoke behind the truck while the younger guys unload things. The positives: They really seemed to know the routine well. Also, one of the guys repaired one of the footings to my sleigh bed. They were cool with loading heavy things. They wrapped most of the furniture. They repositioned a big wardrobe for me at the new place. The negatives: ? No protection on the door frames or flooring. I have nice wood floors in the new place. Would have been nice. ? Talk of my belongings. Early on, one of the movers told me what a cool red golf shirt I had. Truth is, it was a gift that I'd never worn before, so I said he could have it. Harmless enough, but at the new place, toward the end of the move, the same guy recalled how other customers had given him things, such as a motorcycle. Employers have hired professional movers for me before, and I've heard similar comments. To me, it's a form of hinting that's in bad taste. Moving is stressful enough without that. They should be trained against comments like that. ? Liberal interpretation of time. Hey, I've got a mobile phone and so did the mover, and both phones are tied into satellites, right? But somehow his may have been working differently than mine, because at 10:30 a.m. when he was completing the invoice, he told me they'd been working till 11 a.m. So I got billed an extra half hour. Truth of the matter is, I'd put 50 bucks in my pocket to give as a tip to these guys ("Hey, here's lunch on me!"), but after I saw the invoice being drawn up, I kept that cash to myself. Figured if they want to bill me an extra 50, they can take it out of there. That extra half hour also put me about 50 bucks over the estimate I'd been given initially. Supervisor at the office laughed a little when I told him about the situation but offered no compensation. ? Slight damage. I told these guys just to focus on the big stuff. But they put some smaller peripheral stuff in the load, too, including a wire CD/DVD rack I'd bought for 15 bucks years ago. Nothing real fancy, but part of a set. Anyway, it's made of light metal and someone had apparently put something much heavier on top of it, so the top shelf was broken and caved in. Easy enough for me to see, but apparently they missed the damage they caused. Could other things be damaged? Hope not. Haven't seen anything else so far, but I haven't checked everything. Could that little CD rack have been maliciously damaged? Hope not. ? Liberal interpretation of time. We both left my old place at the same time, but somehow they took significantly longer to get to the new location. Time is money, right? Now don't get me wrong. I'm friendly enough. I offered these guys sodas, so much that one guy felt comfortable enough going to the fridge to fetch one for his buddy. Asked them what kind of music they liked to make them feel comfortable. And I treat people with respect, because I've done manual labor myself. I also didn't make a stink (pardon the pun) when one worker dropped a deuce at my old place and another did the same at my new home. (To think, he got to use the toilet before I did. Bummer.) There's a common saying that people mistake kindness for weakness sometimes, and that creativity on the invoice really disappointed me. But am I going to argue over 50 bucks with three strangers in my home? Nope. Not even after the head guy explains in his poker face at 10:35 a.m. that Arizona Discount Movers bills in 15 minute increments and that they finished at 11 a.m. So after they had sodas and loaded up in their truck, and it was pulling away, I looked at my phone again. 10:52 a.m. I was grateful for the help but glad to see them go. Truth of the matter is, they were probably as good as any movers you can get. Nature of the beast, I reckon. P.S. -- When you're moving, you get really busy, so you can't notice everything immediately. Tonight I notice fresh marks on a door where a horizontal dresser was carried into a room. Again, they weren't using door protectors. I also noticed cigarette butts that were in my drive, and I recall them telling me someone had kicked them off their property for smoking before, and I recall one of them asking if I smoked, as if that's permission. (I don't.) What I don't recall is any response from this company after I report credible complaints about their service....

Really good and low stress experience. Rene, Larry, and Mark were very hard workers, quick, and also careful. I appreciated that they listened to my requests, and were flexible. They were awesome and I would not hesitate to hire them again.
