Description of Work: The icemaker on our refrigerator stopped working so Affordable Appliance worked on the part (its a whole icemaker unit), trying a couple different approaches to get the sensors to sense and react properly. Unfortunately they were unable to get it to work, so they went to a supply store and got a replacement icemaker and returned within an hour and completed the job. The technician was very professional and courteous and the repair was successful - we have ice!

Description of Work: Main board was out of refrigerator. Technician said he usually has them on the truck, but had already used them that day. Offered to go get part as he knew we needed it fixed right away. Returned with part promptly and finished job that day. Above and beyond

Description of Work: Very impressed with the timeliness and prompt service. Clicker on washing machine needed to be replaced. Tech had part available and was able to fix within 15-20 minutes. Would definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: Two men were sent to the house to fix our refrigerator. We had to turn our drinking water to the house off because the water to the ice maker was squirting out of a hose inside the frig. The men said they'd pick up the needed part and would be back the next day to fix it. They never showed and when we tried to contact them we had to leave a message. No one ever returned the call or showed up. We only had soft water coming into the house which is not good for drinking water. We called someone else a day later to come out and repair it. Affordable Appliance Repair is certainly affordable as they never did do the work. We were very disappointed which is sad as it was our first time in many years we used Angie's List. I hope we don't have a similar situation in the future. Oh, the men came in just a passenger car with no signage or uniforms that designated where they were from. We were and are very suspicious of this company.

This is NOT a review for our company. All of our technicians are uniformed and come in vehicles with company signage. NOTE: There is another company on Angie's List that is unlawfully using our company name. If you click onto his website his company name is actually Affordable Repairs. All of our technicians are dressed in company tan shirts with black pants. Look for our Super Hero logo over the shirt pocket.
