Description of Work: Icemaker quit working and was only two years old. Dave told us what the problem was and gave us several solutions with the dollars involved. We made the decision to fix the appliance, which Dave did and it has been working great since that time.

Description of Work: Our secondary refrigerator/freezer suddenly stopped working over a weekend. We put food on ice and called Affordable Appliance Repair first thing on Monday. They were out later that day, diagnosed the problem and then fixed it. We used them once before on a dishwasher repair. They are extremely professional and reasonably priced. I give them a top grade for their work and highly recommend them.

Description of Work: My refrigerator wasn't cooling, and they sent someone over immediately - even though I was not an established customer. They were professional, did a good job, and didn't leave a message. I can't remember the cost but I do remember thinking it was reasonable.

Description of Work: I like the repairmen they send. Prompt, courteous, capable. But I have to wonder why it is always around $300 to repair my refrigerator.

Description of Work: I called this repair service for a non working 3 year old Maytag Centennial washing Machine. The tech determined that it was a faulty lid lock switch and replaced it right away. The repair was diagnosed and fixed within 30 minutes. Everyone was very professional and easy to deal with. My only issue was the part that was replaced can be found on the internet for $40usd. Over $200 for 30 minutes labour seemed very high to me but apparently the repair amount is predetermined by a standard schedule used by most repair companies. In the future I will buy the part online & do the repair myself and save the $200. The pricing issue is not an issue directly aimed at this repair service its just a general comment that $200 for 30 minutes work is too high. I can see $100 for service call and first 30 minutes of repair and diagnosis but not $200 to start.
