David repaired a clogged line to one burner on the stove and replaced the ignitor for the middle burner. He also re-balanced the washer. It went smoothly and all is working well.

They clearly have enough customers that they don't need to return phone calls or communicate or treat you with even a shred of respect. 2 different people calling, email saying something different and blatant disregard for people's time. I was jerked around for 3 days. Today is a Friday and now they are saying they got too busy and it will now be Monday. This means we will have no refrigerator for 5 days I rescheduled meetings and missed a birthday party accommodate THEIR schedule and they blew me off again. Call anyone but this company. Our older model dryer began squeaking and rumbling. We wanted to repair, rather than replace if it could be done affordably. Affordable Appliance Repair had a lower service charge than other companies ($55), which was applied to the work balance. They offered a rough estimate over the phone so we could determine whether the trip charge was worth it. They scheduled us within 24 hours. Mike arrived on time, called ahead, completed the work efficiently, on target with the estimate, and even helped with a door latch issue that we had not called about. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The work is guaranteed for one year.

The problem was caused by one of two things, a relay switch to the compressor or the compressor itself. The technician offered to try replacing the switch. If it didn’t work, there would be no charge. The switch worked and I did not have to replace my refrigerator. Very impressed that a company was willing to to take no payment for the service call if the problem couldn’t be remedied.

We pinged several companies on Angie's list, but Affordable Appliance Repair was one of the first to call and made room for someone to come out that day. We have a GE Monogram, so wasn't sure if they would have the parts or how $$$$ expensive it was going to be. They came out right around 3 (they gave range of 1 - 3pm) and within an hour had the problem fixed. They had the parts with them. Both of my controller boards went out and was thinking, this wasn't going to be cheap. But to my surprise it was really economical. The technician was super friendly and respectful. But most importantly he was very knowledgable and got the job done. I saved these guys in my phone contacts. They would be my first call for any of our appliances. Highly recommended.

They came out fast and on time. Had to order part, but received it quickly and returned to install when promised.

The technician wanted to charge me labor on top of the service call until I reminded him of my understanding from my phone call with the office. He then changed the billing and included that service fee in the price. He also left a terrible mess on my floor and didn't even bother to clean it up.

Appears fixed. No problems since. He was great. Showed up on time and told me what he needed to do. Seemed a little expensive, but they always do.

I went with this company based upon the positive reviews that they have on this site. Unfortunately there was a misstep in the diagnosis of what the problem was. I believe that the true measure of a company isn't when things go 100% but what happens when it doesn't and how they respond. Don, the owner and I reviewed what had happened and he went out of his way to make things right. I felt great about how things were handled and I am so happy that I have found an appliance repair company that I can trust. I will use them again without any hesitation.

The technician warned me that it could be costly if the transmission was out, but worked hard to first see if fixing the cheapest broken part would solve the problem. When a relatively inexpensive replacement part did not do the trick, he took the time to explain the cost of the big repair and helped me decide that it would be better to put that money into a new machine. I really appreciated the expert advice - and how he didn't pressure me into expensive work that wouldn't be a good value. I will ALWAYS call Affordable Appliance Repair!

The technician did a good job of removing the old dishwasher and replacing it with a new one.

I was contacted almost immediately. We had a thorough discussion on what was wrong and probably needed to be done. I was quoted a very fair price for parts and labor. They were able to come out the very next day to fix the problem and arrived promptly. Because of the discussion regarding the problem, they arrived with the needed part in hand. They were professional, courteous, neat and knowledgeable. They were able to make the repair and be one their way in less than 2 hours time. And, I got an additional discount on the quoted price for being an Angie's list member.

Affordable Appliance Repair was great! They talked me through the options on the phone, including estimates for each, and then scheduled a time to come out to the house, same day! He came on time, tested the various options, and fixed the issue! We are washing clothes again!! Super pleased with this company and would definitely call them again!

Mike is knowledgeable--- was able to zero in on the problem. He ordered the part and,as promised, when the part arrived a couple days later, he called to set up a convenient time to come back out. The ice maker also needed a part which took longer than expected to arrive but Mike called to keep us informed of the delay. As soon as the part arrived, Mike promptly called to schedule a time to come back out. (Note: Each time, I asked him to call me when he was in the driveway so that I could confine our dogs. He did so without fail. Most repair people forget to do this but not Mike). Overall, Mike is honest, dependable, and intelligent--- carefully explained the problem and solution in layman's terms.

It took a little while to get the job scheduled, but they did a great job. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely call on them again if I need appliances repaired.

I called to make an appointment, and they told me how I could fix it instead of charging to come out and do it. Saved me with the weekend coming up! now i can catch up on my laundry. Will definitely be keeping their information handy!!

Great! Not exactly, as the freezer was toast, but the service was great. Affordable Appliance told me they could install a part that 'might' work, but it was a last ditch effort to save the freezer. Everything went fine with the instillation but it didn't save the freezer. They were awesome and immediately refunded me the cost of the part and I was very happy with that resolution.

Fast service and no issues to report at this time

Jerry showed up promptly, diagnosed the problem within minutes and had my dryer running again in less than 10 minutes.
