Unfortunately, when the repairman came, the machine would not make the noise. He was such a nice guy and while we were standing there waiting for the machine to do it's thing, he gave me some tips on laundry soap, what to do about an odor I was smelling and several different things I had been experiencing. After the machine refused to make the sound I had been hearing, he told me the next time it did, get my phone and make a recording. As I did my laundry the next day, it made the sound and I recorded it. I haven't yet called them back because of timing but will call them back next week. He did have to charge me for a service call but I was fine with that.

Gentleman just called and asked what was wrong. Diagnosed over phone " don't worry about it" . Nit real pro in my book!.

excellent--even though it took longer than expected

This was the second time I have used Affordable Appliance Repair, the first was for a refrigerator repair, David came out both times and was professional, pleasant and very knowledgeable. If all Affordable Appliance employees are like him then they are fortunate indeed. Could not be happier to have found a company that I can rely on.

This morning, I was told by Don, the owner, a tech would be at my home between 3 PM - 5 PM. At 4:45 I called to confirm the appt. would be kept. There was a recording the office closed at 4 PM. It's 5:30 and no one arrived. Not even a call to say what happened. An accident perhaps. Assume the owner could be reached who could let (potential) customers know. I called another company to schedule an appt for tomorrow. There is no chance they can attempt to get my business tomorrow. What's the deal here...you are told someone will provide same day service just to get the business from a competitor? I should have trusted my instinct on the recent F's and gone with a competitor. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! If I ran my business like this, I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't stay in business.

Easy fix, just needed to lower water pressure.

The actual repair needed was quite easy but definitely needed. I was charged the minimum charge.

Mike made two visits: first visit was due to a French door refrigerator icing up inside, Mike diagnosed and replaced part causing the problem. Second visit was a different problem (freezer and ice maker quit working) which he diagnosed accurately and corrected by removing ice from compressor unit...no parts needed. Turns out the freezer door wasn't sealing properly when closed, letting air in (thus the ice) and that was apparently caused by springs not properly attached to keep the freezer door closed. Mike was here a while but only charged $69.95 service fee. Very pleased.

They have been extraordinary. I will definitely recommend them and absolutely use them, again.

It went well. Dispenser froze because "crushed ice" was selected and used without clearing the dispenser. To avoid the problem, they recommended re-selecting to "cube" and clearing the crushed ice out of the dispenser. The door seal was removed and replaced routinely.

No one ever called me back after leaving my mane and number twicw.

Did excellent job of diagnostic work and recommended correct follow-through to warranty with manufacturer. Highly recommend this company and would use them again.

Not well. Spent way to much time cleaning the glass. He really did not know what was wrong with the stove burner, ice maker or garbage disposal. My handy man would have done better. I would not call this company again. I told home to stop and leave.

It was so easy. Mike was very professional and helpful in finding the problem quickly and fixing it at a more than fair price. I will always depend on this company if I have future appliance issues.

Technician checked the washer and gave estimate for repair - decided it was not worth repairing.
