Description of Work: Replaced two 17 year old units with new 16 seer energy efficient units. Picked a bad day for the installation, 114 degree high, but the crew of four removed the old and installed the new units in a single day leaving us with a comfortable home that evening.

Description of Work: I'll make a long story short. I had an issue Howard Air could not fix after two days. The Cool Blew tech figured it out in an hour. Howard Air was telling me I needed a new system. Cool Blew got me up and running and advised my air handler was on its last leg, but obviously I did not need a new system immediately to get my house cool again. I ended up using them for installing a new air handler which I'll submit a separate review on.

Description of Work: Seasonal A/C check |Note: I use this contractor because it is also a contractor of my home warranty insurer. Should I need to replace or repair my HVAC equipment, I and my insurer will have the maintenance records. The cost for this service on April 9 was prepaid to the home warranty insurer.

 + -1 moreWe moved into our new home and first thing we discovered was that the faucet in the yard was broken and water was leaking. It was also our moving day. So didnt have a whole lot of time to deal with this. I had a home warranty but apparently anything on the outside of the house was not covered in my home warranty (sigh!). They gave a few references and cool blew was the only company that had someone available to come right over. Rick was the plumber that came. He arrived at the time he said he would arrive and got right to work. Got me squared away on the leak and got water back on to the house. Being a saturday emergency service i felt the $140 charged was very reasonable. I had some follow up work to get an RO system installed and also a kitchen faucet replaced. I specifically requested Rick and he came and did a fabulous job again. He did good work and also cleans up well after the job is done. Excellent experience and would definitely use these guys for all my plumbing needs going forward.

Description of Work: Our Home Warranty reached out to this company to come and repair our AC unit. They were cale to schedule an appt the very next day. The technician that came out, Keith, was very respectful and courteous. The overall time it took was roughly 30 mins. The cost was due to my Home Warranty, so I cannot tell you how great of a price it is as its just my warranty's service fee. However, the service was great!

 + -1 moreour A/C in our new house went out at the end of July and our Home Warranty company set up an appointment with this company. They did a great job, timely and went above and beyond. It did take about 36 hours to get to us, but it happened on a Saturday night and they were out by Monday morning.
Description of Work: Evaluated our A/C unit that stopped working, discovered that there was a small leak and out of freon. This was a home warranty repair so our cost was a standard visit fee.

Description of Work: I didn't use this contractor because of finding him so late in the decision process. I like ever thing that he offered while he was at my home and I even held up my decision until I received his formal bid. The bid turn out to be about $600.00 more than what was talked about at my home. That put his price equal to the other bids which I was considering. I needed to get the work under way and didn't want to start the negotiating process over again. I liked everything about his product, pricing, and presentation. It was all about bad timing.

 + -1 moreThey were great. The supervisor who came out to double check the work was very professional, well spoken, and the estimate was extremely reasonable. The supervisor was very nice, and came back twice to make sure everything was working. I would recommend them to someone in the future.
Description of Work: My son was having problems with his air conditioner, and they said that it couldn't be fixed anymore and he needed to replace the air conditioner.

 + 1 moreThey did what they said they would do at the price they said they would do it for. The guy that came out to do all our electrical work was a worker and a half. He worked, he did not take breaks, he just worked straight through. Also, if I had an issue with something he was right here to fix it. Even if it was something minor. We told him not to drop everything that he could come the next day but he came that afternoon.
Description of Work: They did the electric throughout the whole house. We changed our whole air conditioning system and duct system. They are out of Glendale, AZ. We've used them on and off since November.

 + -1 moreThey were very expensive but the service was good. Our heat pump on our A/C went out twice (in November and December). It was a warranty issue so we only had to pay for labor and freeon. They are prompt, courteous and knowledgable but very expensive.

Description of Work: I was quoted a price then it changed. My 2 air conditions are 5 years old top of the line. I was then told that I had to pay a separate fee for each air condition, thus the $55 became $110. WHen I protested, I was told $75 was bargain and left me feeling that I broke the contract. I was also informed that one of unit needs a major repair because it is leaking and if I agreed before stopping this inspection I would have probably been taken for thousands. This is the second company I picked from Angie's list, and so far I am begining to wonder if I should use this list. The first was a landscaper who charged $265 for one hour job and when I came to the house to see the work, I was shocked for what I did see.
