Great company, they give accurate quotes up front and are all about getting you the units you need and want for your home. Had them install a split system HVAC with a new furnace, evaporator coils and thermostats and they had the job done in about 9 hours in one day. Excellent customer service and would highly recommend them to anyone I know in need of a new A/C unit. Best prices in the valley! David Gerlt, field supervisor, was extremely knowledgeable and went beyond expectation to install a new coil and even came back to rectify a Freon problem another company said was low on Freon. I reached out to Always fair AC and they provided three very quick estimates for the work to be completed on our AC system. The next Day the owner Brad came to our home and was very friendly, explained the process to us and we advised that we wanted to go ahead with using them. They were open and communicative and Brad was able to locate the Trane units that we had received the quote for. I was reviewing the quote and recognized that he had resourced a natural gas furnace for our home. I advised him that our house is fully electric, he asked me to double check this (as if i was not sure about the house I was living in for 5 years) which I did. To Brad's credit he was able to find new fully electric Air handler units and exterior units for our home. He stuck to the originally quoted time frame as far as the installation goes. His crew arrived started working on installing the units. While working on my upstairs and downstairs they did not place enough " floor covers" as not to not leave a significant amount of debris from the installation in my upstairs landing and the carpeting on the stairs. During this work they had to alter the entrance hole to the attic space so it was easier to get the new air handlers in. We were told this was normal and would be fixed after installation. The work was completed (with the exception of the attic hole) and both units appeared to be functioning properly with the exception of airflow to one of the rooms. I was advised by Brad that a field supervisor would be coming between 2-5PM the next day to a final inspection, we made sure we were there during those hours. They did not show up during that time but called around 545 PM from a texas number I did not recognize and left a voice mail . The next morning around 730AM I sent an email to Brad just letting him know that the supervisor did not show up. Here is where everything starts to go downhill. I received a very curt email from Brad stating that we did not return their call. He advised that they would send his field supervisor David out again the next the day between 2PM-5PM. Again we were here during those times and did not receive a call again from anyone. Around 530pm we left our home. At 6pm I get a call from my son that the AC guys are here and he had already let them in. We were not going to be back at the house for a while so I told our son to tell them not to wait for us and I would reach out to them to schedule a time for the final quality inspection when we would would be home. This is when things really went downhill fast. I wish I could post the entirety of his email response to us but there is not enough space. He made an excuse as to why they could not meet the TIME FRAME HE SET THE EXPECTATION FOR, and then chastised me for not signing off on the completion paperwork for the job. The job was not complete at that time due to missing trim around my attic, the concerns for the one room not cooling. In effect he was calling me a deadbeat for not signing the paper work saying the job was completed. The paper work from THEIR FINANCE COMPANY SAYS DO NOT SIGN THE PAPERWORK UNTIL THE JOB IS COMPLETE. I received a rather insulting email from Brad advising that we should be ashamed for not paying them. I though pretty hard and then decided to sign off on the paperwork as the AC appeared to be working the right way. I have some recommendations for Always Fair Heating and for Brad in particular: Please don't blame your customers for being concerned when you cannot meet the expectations YOU set. Customers do not like to made to feel like you are doing them a favor by just doing the work you are being paid to do, you have a lot of competition out there. They care about doing the right thing. I also work in the service industry so I appreciate when someone not only provides great service by listening, but also sell you the right items. During this process, I found out my home builder had under sized my unit in order to make more money. Always Fair made sure I understood the problem and suggested the proper remedy.

I received a quote from the General Manager on Thursday, made the decision on Friday and the system was installed on Monday. Everyone I dealt with was very professional, knowledgeable and the installers were very efficient installing the new system in about 5 hours. The installers set the old system with all the packaging on the curb and a recycling company picked it up while the installers were finishing. The installers made sure the thermostats, Nest, were set properly and that I knew their recommendations. The installers also made sure I understood about follow up inspections and the importance of filter changing. Overall, this was the best home repair experience I have had in Phoenix.

I obtained 5 other bids. None of them were competitive for similar equipment and warranty. Receipt of bid, scheduling, and installation were exceptionally prompt.
