After plumbing for 19 years Aaron, our Union trained expert, has seen almost everything. He has been involved in the new construction plumbing of high rise apartments, multi unit apartments, condominiums, townhomes, restaurants, multi million dollar custom mansions, semi custom homes, and track homes in huge subdivisions. He has worked on the new installation of building drain waste and vent (DWV) piping, hot, cold, and tempered water supply piping, gas piping, and fixture installation. He has installed and repaired all brands of toilets, faucets, bidets, tub/shower valves, Roman tub fillers, garbage disposals, dishwashers, gas fireplaces, water heaters, tankless water heaters, steam generators, garden hose spigots, mixing valves, commercial toilet flush valves, and urinals. He has installed and replaced bathtubs, shower bases, tub drains, shower drains, sump pumps, ejector pumps, pressure booster pumps, hot water recirculating pumps, kitchen sinks, pedestal sinks, wall mount sinks, vanity cabinets, washing machines, and gas dryers. He has found G. I. Joe guys, combs, and toothbrushes in the toilet. He has found dead birds blocking vents. He has found dead animals, rags, roots, toys, and tampons blocking drains. He has solved mystery leaks, mystery smells, and mystery noises. He has devised dozens of methods, through trial and error, to make plumbing easier, cleaner, faster, and safer. Has has invented a tool to make an impossible repair possible. When he says there is nothing he can not fix, he means it.

We offer a commission to anyone that gives us information leading to a contract. We also work with general contractors to do their contracting in the concrete phase.

"The company was very responsive to phone calls and made a very reasonable and competitive bid for a fairly small project. Everyone was very polite and professional. The area was clean and neat when they were finished. The only issue was that the project started several hours later than agreed upon, which was a minor inconvenience due to the time of day, but the owner sent a message about the delayed start time the night before. Based on my experience, I recommend Wildcat and would certainly hire them again for future projects."

"New Customers BEWARE: Fraudulent Inspection Charges (As a new customer they said they needed to inspect our propane tank and lines. We waited all day for them to come on the appointment date and they never came and never called. They claimed to have gone the next day and inspected it and billed us for the service. It turns out that on the day of the service they suddenly claimed that the road was "Undrivable" and they would not fill. Give me a break, we have had over 50 different vehicles at our home there ranging from 2 wheel drive cars to regular SUV that don't have 4 wheel drive (It was built and had a propane tank and many other things so how is the road "Undrivable"?, Why then did the inspection team note that prior to scheduling a date if someone actually went there to inspect our tank? Oh they conveniently billed it right away though, so then the only explanation was that NO-ONE actually went there. Be prepared when you call for anything because it is Impossible to talk to anyone without waiting for hours on the phone. Don't take my word for it, give them a call and you will see how far in que they will put you in (we have been number 97, 94, 89, etc.) and there is ZERO options to leave a message or get a callback when your turn comes up. The message is to try and communicate via their web page and send them a message. Who monitors these messages, as we have sent 4 different ones with absolutely no response. Once they give you an appointment date there is no confirmation calls, no update calls on the day before or day of service, and when they don't show up, no calls for rescheduling. Instead, they will come on another day without notice and if you are not home, will claim to do an inspection with no one actually witnessing it. Don't rely on their appointment dates. We have taken more than 4 days off work to drive to the new property only to sit and wait. We learned to call them on the day of service (because they wont give you any warning to save your personal days off) to be told that they would not be coming to fill our propane tank, and instead issued a "GUARANTEED" Service call the next day. What happened on this guaranteed day I took another day of work for? We had to call them to find out that they would be coming the next day instead. The supervisors said they would give us a call to let us know if it was a morning or afternoon delivery of propane, but all we got was an automated call that they would be coming the next day (finally a call!). On the day of service we had to call THEM to find out they would not be servicing our property. If this is how a new potential customer is treated then I have done my part in warning other potential customers of the WORST customer service experience in my life time."

Gas fireplace services FAQs

The average cost to repair a fireplace is $575. You might pay anywhere from $95 to $2,500, depending on the severity of repairs and the type of fireplace. A typical repair of an igniter can range from $100 to $150. However, if you need to repair your mantel, expect the bill to be anywhere from $500 to $1,200. Wood fireplaces tend to cost more to repair due to specialized labor costs. Electric fireplaces tend to be the most cost-effective to repair, along with gas.

The cost to install a fireplace is $2,440 on average. This cost can range from $150 to $8,000 or more, depending on the type of fireplace, the materials used, and the size.

Electric fireplaces cost around $1,000 to install, and mostly only require wiring installation. Installing a wood fireplace from scratch could cost upwards of $10,000, depending on the foundation needed to support the weight of the fireplace. In addition, gas fireplaces can cost between $2,500 and $10,000.

The cost to remodel your fireplace is $1,200 on average. This cost can range from $400 to $2,000, depending on the extent of work needed.

If you add a hearth to your fireplace, you can expect to pay between $3 and $200 per square foot. However, if you're refacing your fireplace, the price tag will depend on your chosen materials. If choosing tile, you can pay between $1 and $50 per square foot, depending on the design. Stone is a more expensive material, averaging between $60 and $70 per square foot.

Yes, it can be worth installing a gas fireplace, depending on your home heating needs. The cost to install a gas fireplace can be much lower than the cost to install a comparable wood-burning fireplace. The convenience of starting a fire with the flip of a switch and turning it off just as quickly makes a gas fireplace a big time saver over starting and maintaining a wood-fueled fire. A gas fireplace also does not require ash cleanup or frequent chimney cleaning to remove creosote and other buildup that can lead to chimney fires. Gas fireplaces burn and heat much more cleanly than wood fireplaces.

A gas fireplace insert costs about $3,600 to install, on average. The cost to install a gas log insert ranges from about $700 to $6,500, depending on the size, type of insert, how it works, and heating needs. Gas fireplaces need electrical and gas lines installed properly, so hiring a pro is recommended rather than trying to DIY installation.
