Century Link

Description of Work: Installed phone jack for DSL internet and phone.

Description of Work: Doesn't really apply as they are the only DSL provider I could find. Real problem trying to get install done as the century link website does not take you to the correct provider. Took several attempts to finally get century service straightened out. | |Maybe use again. Waiting to see if there is another provider in a year or so. One comment, kudos to the century link store off Powers. They were able to replace a modem just by checking my account. Other stores wanted a return number - give me a break.

Description of Work: We subscribe to DSL Internet service. Overall, the experience is as expected - we have internet service that works 99% of the time. Calling customer service isn't exactly an enjoyable experience, but it's much better than charter (Midwest). There have been a few service outages in 9 months, the longest was overnight.

Description of Work: Century Link provides a good, quality service. We have never had a problem with our internet connection or speeds. They mailed the equipment and we set it up but it was a fairly easy set up process. We have never had any issues and the price is reasonable.

Description of Work: We asked them to stop billing our credit card as they charged a fee and to start sending us a bill every month. They agreed. They never sent us a bill and then 2 weeks later the shut down our direct tv with no warning. Tried calling them but it was after hours and now they want to charge us a reconnect fee for them not sending us a bill. Looking for a new provider.
