Wholesale Tree Triimming and Removal

We had a bit of a challenge getting scheduled, but Scott was diligent, and stopped by before hand to assess the job and got the job scheduled. The rate was based on an Angie's list deal "$249 for $400 Worth of Tree Service!" and because of the size of the job, it ran $100 more. Scott and his team did an excellent job trimming the trees, hauling off the debris, and left the work site clean and raked. Scott seems to have a good knowledge of trees, proper trimming/pruning methods, growth patterns, and cultivation. We discussed several other trees on my property (for future work) since the City of Scottsdale hacked up one of my trees in the back yard which had limbs reaching into the power-line easement.

It worked out well. They did what they said they were gonna do. The work turned out okay. I didn’t interact with them but my daughter said they were very nice. I paid an additional $1,000 for the service. There was a problem with the gate. They came out one day all ready to work and they couldn’t do it because of the gate.

The scheduling took a little effort but they did a great job removing the tree and cleaning up afterwards. I was a little concerned that there would be damage from the falling tree but they knew what they were doing. I liked that Scott called afterwards to find out how things went. I would definitely use this company again. They were reasonable and responsive.

The whole crew was outstanding! They arrived ontime and removed the trees, stumps, and all debris and left the yard spotless. Will definately use them again!

Removed a large fig tree around 25 ft high that the previous homeowners put in a corner of the yard and it had already overgrown that area. Also had a medium size pomegranate that had tipped over slightly during the summer, monsoon winds. They had both trees cut down in a jiffy. Had them stump grind the fig tree as that had basal limbs that will come back. They cleaned up the area and two piles of limbs and green matter. So good, in fact, that it looked like the trees were never there. Using them again.

The removal went very, very well. The trees were removed down to the ground level, but could not be removed lower - although they tried - due to the growing trees surrounding river rocks at ground level as they grew and the rocks broke two chain saw chains. There was no damage to the TV, phone or pool utility risers at all. Clean up was perfect. Nothing was left of the trees in front yard or back yard but some very light sawdust embedded into the river rocks. They applied stump drying agents and gave me instructions on how to continue the process of drying out the stumps and how to effect their eventual removal when they fully dry over the next several months. They were able to work around our schedule to find a time for the work that met our needs very well. The three people who did the removal, as well as Scott the company owner who made the initial contact and price quote, were courteous and spoke loudly enough that I was able to understand them - I am hearing impaired so that was very important in arriving at good communications as to work scope and completion expectations. I would use their services again in the future when tree removal or trimming is needed on our property.

They did fine. I paid $249 because I used the special. They went beyond what I asked them to do. It took about 3 meetings to get them out here, one was my fault and 2 were their fault.

I would have preferred to contact them personally after the initial contact with Angie'S List. I had never gone through the process before and found it confusing thus setting a date became a challenge.

My experience started a little shaky, but ended very well. I purchased an Angies deal with Scott ($400 worth of tree trimming for $250), since he had great reviews and I have always found Angies List reviews to be reliable. I received an email from the business stating that they had received my order and that they needed a phone number so that they could contact me. (I originally overlooked including my number when sending my info). I immediately sent back my phone number and waited 3 days to hear back from them. When I did not receive a call after that time I sent an email to them expressing my concerns and that I wanted to be sure they got my email. I received a call from the owner (Scott) the same day (Sunday) apologizing for the delay. He was not sure that he should call on a Sunday, but figured that since I had sent the message on Sunday that he would go ahead and do so and not delay the process any longer. He explained that he was out of town but wanted to get me set up for service. I explained what I needed. He asked that I send him pictures of the trees so that he could give me an estimate of the costs. I sent the pics and he sent back a quote which I thought was a little high ($750), but I have never had trees trimmed before so I had no reference point as to what the service typically cost. I procrastinated getting back to Scott due to me hesitating pulling the trigger on spending the money to have the work done. Scott took the initiative to call me and check into what I was planning on doing and advised that his crew would be in the area on Saturday. I advised him that I was trying to be as budget conscious as possible and wanted to see how far $400 of work would go and what it would cost to do one other tree. One tree was in the greatest need of trimming. The others could probable wait until next year. He stated he would come out and see what could be done and that they would be there later on Saturday afternoon. At 4:30pm they had not arrived so I made a call to check on their status. The phone went to voicemail. I left a message indicating the time and that it was beginning to get dark and was concerned about my appointment status. I had made changes to my schedule to have the work done. I got a call from one of his crew members at 1:00 the next day on Sunday stating that they were on their way out to my place. I was not home at the time and could not get home to show them what needed to be done, so I told them that I needed to speak to Scott. (I was seriously contemplating cancelling the service at that time). Scott called me on Monday and apologized for missing the appointment. He was out of town due to a family emergency and his guys had run behind schedule and I was one of 2 who they did not get to. Scott indicated that he had left directions for what he wanted his guys to do but they were not fully executed. Scott apologized and wanted to make me a priority and we set time for Wed morning to come out. His guys arrived on time on Wed morning and said that they would trim all 3 trees for no additional fee. Also, the work they did was fantastic. They are great guys, very friendly with great attitudes, and did a great job of trimming, and were thorough when cleaning up after themselves. I reward service people for having positive attitudes and doing good work. I gave them a good tip for doing so. I am a small business owner. I know that crazy stuff can happen and customers are potentially going to be disappointed when it does happen. What is most important is how a business or an owner approaches how to fix the problem to insure that the reputation of the business is protected. Scott earned a lot of praise and respect from me on how he turned a bad situation into a positive experience. To me, this is the real test of a business and customer service philosophy. Not all business owners care enough about their customers to go the extra step to do what it takes to fix a problem. Scott proved to me that customer service is a priority. For that, depite a rocky start, I give him the highest score of "5 stars".

Wholesale Tree Trimming worked well with our confusing schedule, communication was great and very responsive. I had called a couple of places to get an estimate; Wholesale Tree Trimming was quick to respond and worked well within our budget. The people were very knowledgeable, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. They trimmed, pruned, vacuumed, and swept upon departure. They worked well around the pool, solar panels, and CMU wall that is shared with our neighbors. They gave us a very reasonable price to do extra work which included tree grinding and hauling, gave us tips on how to revive the existing trees, and even tips on how to remove some over grown landscaping on our own. We?d highly recommend Wholesale Tree Trimming and would very like use them again.

Left a message on Scott's voicemail regarding my needs. He responded later that day and we set up an appointment to trim my trees only a few days in the future. Tree trimmers completed the work in a timely manner. Because I was not satisfied with the work on one of the tree, I called Scott. He came out to revise the work in two days. I am satisfied with the work performed and with the efforts Scott showed to satisfy my requests. I will call him again when I need tree trimming.

This company does really good work. Had some difficulties with original scheduling and a bit of sticker shock with the price cause not all the trees are mature, but overall, we think we got our money's worth.

I purchased a $150 Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it went well. I had extra work done so paid additional above the Big Deal price.

Scott was very prompt in answering my email, and gave me a quote after I sent him a couple of pictures. He had a time slot the next day and came while I was at work. Like other reviewers have written, there was basically no sign left that a tree had ever been there. This was a job that was quite literally over my head...had I attempted it, there was a good chance I would have damaged a decorative wall, my house, my neighbor's property, or myself.

We had an overgrown tree that was raising the surrounding ground and starting to pull up a nearby sidewalk and brick work. The tree also had a number of pesky "runner" roots along the surface of the ground. Scott came out and explained what they could do and what they may not be able to do and gave me a very fair price for the work. (I base this on other two other bids I received.) A crew of four arrived on the scheduled date, on time. All of them were very polite, friendly and professional. The tree was about 25 to 30 feet tall and some of the branches hung over the house, so I was worried that bad things would happen if they weren't careful. I was very impressed as the guy that scurried up the tree to chainsaw the top limbs was very careful about how he was cutting and where the limbs would fall. Never did he just let stuff drop where it might. He planned ahead, cut carefully and guided the limb to the best spot. (I have a very nice golden barrel cactus at the base of the tree and that was undisturbed through the whole process.) Then there was the stump. There were all kinds of reasons that the whole stump could not be completely removed, but this crew was able to do it. It was very strenuous for the two guys that worked on the stump, but they didn't complain and were able to remove the whole thing, including all the runners. Once they were done with the hard work of falling the tree and loading the limbs on their flatbed, they were quite meticulous about cleaning up *everything*. The area was spotless when they left. I'm very happy with this company and the work they did. I wish all service providers would take such pride in their work.

Using Angie's list advise, we contacted Wholesale Tree Service and received a price of $495.00 to remove a huge palo verde tree that was threatening our home. Scott, the owner, made the price proposal, we accepted, and a handshake agreement was made. The crew headed by CJ arrived on the agreed upon date. When finished, one could not tell a tree was even there. The stump was gone, the entire yard was cleaned up with no residue of sawdust or other debris. st of the crew, Tree services are businesses that I perceive as being non punctual and rife with making estimates and then upping the price due to the job being "bigger than anticipated." For that reason, I did my homework with Angie's List before calling Wholesale. The price was fair, the work was first class and the people from Scott through CJ and the crew were a pleasure to work with.

Called me right away to schedule appointment. Very professional and helped with decisions. Will use them again in the Spring for more trimming. Very pleased with service

All 56 trees were removed in just a couple of hours, the holes were filled in like the trees were never there, they arrived on time and worked very professionally, and the price was more than reasonable. We are extremely happy with their services and will definitely call them again in the future.

CJ's team did an outstanding job. Not only did they trim our trees, they also removed the support stakes that were long overdue for removal, they also pulled out two of our dead hibiscus, removed all trimmings and blew out the yard. They were on time and very efficient, very professional. CJ also gave me some good advice about our fruit and palm trees. I will be calling them in the future for care of our trees and would most definitely recommend them to my neighbors and friends. Excellent job guys, Thank you!

There was a necessary rescheduling of the originally quoted arrival time, because of a previous job running longer than expected, but it did not concern me, understanding the nature of the business. The important thing was, that Scott did call me when he knew there would be a delay, and I was very appreciative of that courtesy. A lot of contractors will not call ahead when there is a scheduling or timing issue. Then, CJ did call me, when he and his crew were on their way, and advised me of their expected arrival time. That, again, meant a lot, showed professionalism, and was greatly appreciated. When they did arrive, they got right to work and completed the job in a very efficient manner. They cleaned the area to the point where the only evidence of their work was the big bare spot in the yard where the tree used to be. The cost was very reasonable, and I would definitely use them again, and/or recommend them to friend or neighbor.

The owner Scott came out and gave me a bid on my trees before I have them provide the service. The price was extremely reasonable. The crew that he sent out was extremely knowledgeable and did a FABULOUS job. After the services were completed they did a thorough job cleaning up my yard. I will definitely use them again in the future as well as I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in need of tree service. I have used other tree service companies off of Angie's list in the past but my trees have never looked as GREAT as they do right now!! Scott responded to my request for quote in less than a day, and provided a quote over the phone based on a photo of the tree. The price was reasonable compared to other quotes I had received. He was able to schedule a crew to do the takedown the same day as they were in the neighborhood. The crew was very cordial. I was concerned about taking out this tree as it was close to the house, and they removed the tree carefully with no negative results. They cleaned up very well, even taking care to clean up around the base of the tree. I was very happy with the quick, quality work and the nice price. I will definitely call them again for tree service.

The owner sent two guys out when I wasn't home. The technicians didn't complete everything because of a miscommunication, but they came out later that week and went above and beyond. I was very impressed with their service.

Scott and his crew were great! They followed our instructions exactly, and they cleaned everything up beautifully when they were done. And we really appreciated how gracious Scott was when we had to cancel our first appointment at the last minute. We highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again.
