Wholesale Tree Triimming and Removal

First of all, we have been Angies List members for quite a while (7 - 8 years?). We love this service, and have greatly benefited from three advertised specials just within the last month. THANK YOU ANGIE!!! This special was from Wholesale Tree Trimming and Removal for $400 worth of tree services for $250. Owner Scott came over to give us an estimate to take down our 18 year old, towering Fichus next to the pool. There was also a large shed underneath the tree in yard next door, making the removal more complicated. Scott included trimming another Fichus in the front yard, as well as a Chinese pepper tree, which is quite knurled, and tricky to trim. We also had 3 mature, very shaggy and neglected looking queen palms behind the pool that had not been trimmed in a year. For an extra $400 Scott said they would take care of all of them, including stump removal. We had gotten bids as high as $800 just for the Fichus removal (which is why we hadn't removed it yet), so we were ecstatic with Scotts quote. Scott called the day before to confirm date and time. Three gentlemen in shirts with company logo's arrived at 9:00 am and went to work. When I saw the care Marcus gave the palm trees, and the immaculate job he did of trimming and cleaning off all the roughage, I felt confident everything else would fall into place just as nicely. They did not disappoint! Marcus and Cody even considerately held up large wooden boards to keep saw dust coming from the stump removal from going into the pool. By the time they were finished debris, limbs and branches covered the front and back yards. They picked up, cleaned up, and raked up every last leaf from both yards, including a long path of river rocks in front, leaving our property better looking than it was before. They made sure they did a deep trimming so we would not have to do it again for another year. Everything looks beautiful! The gentlemen were pleasant, thoughtful, professional, and their work was outstanding. We will contact Wholesale Tree Trimming and Removal for our future trimming needs and confidently look forward to sending referrals their way. THANKS GUYS...GREAT JOB!!!

Same day response by owner. The trimming was scheduled and showed up on time. Very polite and efficient crew. The job was very professional with excellent clean up. We will use them again. The owner followed up to make sure we were satisfied with the work.

NOTE that the owner Scott Harmon says he is not bonded and gives no warranties on Angie's site- see left bar. Please locate his ROC# and see that he is licensed properly. His company did the work, all seemed fine until I got a $1000 water bill. They had damaged my irrigation system and cracked a pipe that fed the fountain. All this leaked during the months from date of work until I got the bill. I called Scott and initially he said he would take care of the repair. I had to follow up and then he said he wasn't going to cover the water bill and resulting repair. Pretty much said I'd have to escalate it and handled it very unprofessionally, and rudely. I have filed a complaint with the Registrar of Contractors, along with all supporting documentation. If you read the "F" and "D" ratings, he pretty much justifies those complaints and probably will here too. Sadly, I would have referred more business to him and that would have easily covered my repair. Doesn't pay to be a jerk in business and I hope he figures it out.

We purchased the Big Deal. Very prompt and professional tree service. Our trees were top-heavy and one was leaning badly due to wind damage. They were able to re-stake it even though that isn't part of the regular service. They did a great job on the trimming. Unfortunately the tree that was straightened went into shock and lost most of its leaves, but it seems to be recovering now. We're now in much better shape in case of future wind storms.

They left the yard looking untouched (in excellent order) when finished.

It went Great from the beginning to the end.. They returned original call promptly. Showed up to estimate the job as planned and on time. And finally, showed up as scheduled to perform the job that was discussed. I came home this afternoon from work and could not have been more satisfied with the job Wholesale Tree Trimming performed. The trees look great, the areas where the tree/stumps/bushes were look great. All debris was removed and the areas were left better than they were before they started. EXCELLENT JOB!!!...I WILL DEFINITELY BE CALLING THEM BACK.

Quick response, quick scheduling, completed work professionally. I first used them when I purchased a big deal, worked out well so have had them come back for other work 2 times. This was the 3rd time they completed work for us.

If I could give an A+ review, I would. Not only did Scott prioritize my work, he and his crew accommodated my schedule completely. They were extremely professional, fast, and efficient. I was amazed with how quickly they worked, especially because the tree was so huge. They were extra careful to protect my house and the neighbor's wall from the limbs and debris. They cleaned up everything as they worked, and afterwards, aside from the missing tree, you could not tell that they were even there. The crew answered all my questions as they worked and were so very nice. This company works at an excellent price and gives perfect results. I will absolutely be using their services in the future, and highly recommend them to anyone needing tree trimming or removal.

We ordered the Big Deal and Scott the owner came out and looked at the job. We set a date and price for the job. That date came around and I did not hear from him. I then had to call and he mentioned that something came up and he couldn’t do it. He then re scheduled the job for a couple days later, and that date he did not show up either. We then set the date again, he was apologetic and that 3rd day came, he did not show up himself, he sent out a crew. They then asked me what they needed to do and I just sent them away. I called Scott and told him the issue; i found him to be rather difficult. Then his operations manager, CJ, called me a couple of days later and he told me that he thought the work was completed. I told him what happened and he told me what he could do in regards. I was insulted and this company was not customer oriented.

I had friends and family over the very next day and none of them could even tell we had a tree there, let alone one that as over 14 feet high. I could not be more pleased with Wholesale Tree and the crew that performed the tree removal. It all started with the excellent customer service I received from the very first call I made to Wholesale Tree and continued through until the last branch was cleared from my yard. Wholesale Tree came out to give us a quote on the tree removal the very same day I called-- within hours actually. Wholesale Tree also worked with us as we had to reschedule the scheduled removal to allow us more time to notify our neighbors and HOA about the tree removal. Each time I asked to extend the date, Wholesale Tree was more than accomodating. Making things even more convenient for us, Wholesale Tree arranged to come to our house to do the tree removal on a Saturday morning. I couldn't recommend Wholesale Tree any higher.

Scott responded very quickly to my initial inquiry, getting back to me the same day. We discussed what i wanted done, sent him some pictures, he quoted, I accepted, he scheduled to come out 2 days later. The crew showed up, performed the service, cleaned up around all their work. Could not have gone better. I left a message late Saturday. Scott came by the house and gave me a really good price on Sunday and by Thursday he had a crew of 3 there, ON TIME, working well together. I saw them cleaning up and they were even at the neighbors driveway cleaning up bits that had landed there. They took it all away, easy for me!

This is the second time we've used this company, and they were great both times. The workers were nice and answered questions about some other trees and bushes in our yard. They cleaned up the area afterwards.

Scott Harman was very professional in getting me a quote for the work and followed-up with very timely calls to ensure everything was going as planned. The work was scheduled quickly to accommodate my needs and calendar. The crew was prompt on arrival and started immediately. They were extremely efficient and worked diligently in order to finish a very large project in one day. I was most impressed with their skill and abilities, ever mindful of safety. These guys did a wonderful job. I will use them again and recommend them highly to others.

Our ash trees are very healthy except for large amounts of dead wood at the very tops of the trees, making the whole tree look unsightly. The crew came in and using a combination of ladders, climbing equipment and tree trimming equipment on extender poles removed all the dead branches from the top of the tree, cutting at an angle below the top of the healthy green canopy. The result was that with all the leaves on, you can't even tell they "topped" the trees to remove the wood which has been dead for 2+ years. There was one exceptionally high branch that they were unable to reach that day, so they returned a few weeks later with longer extensions and removed that final dead branch. They did a great job of protecting our fence below the area where the branches would fall so it would not be damaged, and I swear they cleaned up every dead twig from our lawn and surrounding gravel areas. The crew was eager to work, appreciative of the business, and extremely pleasant. We would definitely use them again!

The only reason I gave a B on price was because there was some confusion as to the total price. It could have been communicated better. In the end, it was a good value and they did a great job. When we discussed the problem, they apologized and came back the next day and trimmed a few of my palms at no extra charge.
