I called 4 companies at the top of the Angie's List. I left a message for all 4 companies. The only company to even call back was Wholesale Tree. Scott called to coordinate the visit a number of times. I sent photos and he was able to quote over the phone. He set up an appointment, showed up on time and did a good job. Can't ask for more. I continue to be astounded by firms that have an answering service or office but don't even have the courtesy to call back. I would definitely use this company again.

The crew arrived and went to work with a vengeance, trimming, chopping, grinding, and hauling off loads of debris. They were hardworking, courteous, friendly, and followed through with everything Scott had promised us. What we thought would be either impossible or unaffordable was completed efficiently, neatly, and much more quickly than we'd anticipated. We wrote the payment check for 50% more than the quote because we felt the work done was above and beyond what we'd expected. We will definitely call Wholesale Tree Trimming in the future to ensure we don't let the landscape overwhelm us again. We highly recommend their work.

The owner, Scott Harmon responded to my inquiry in a very short period of time and I had an estimate that same day on the removal of a very large bottle tree with stump grinding. Not only was the tree that was removed very large but it had branches that were close to our home and also above a patio bar and grill area. Scott was great at explaining in detail how the tree would be taken down as well as how they would make sure to protect the built in bar. This was the attention to detail that sold me on hiring him! We have had a lot of tree work done over the years (various states) and Scott was a great person to work with from start to finish...even with the street being cleaned after the completion of the job. Scott also was able to work with us on the time and day of removal and reconfirmed the day before to make sure all was a go. We are from the mid-west and have pretty high standards when it comes to tree work. Scott and his crew were great and we would highly recommend Wholesale Tree Trimming and Removal.

The price was reasonable, the communication was excellent and I would definitely use them again. Very professional.

It took a couple of tries to get in touch with Scott. However, when I did speak with him, he made an appointment promptly to give an estimate. He gave a great estimate and we scheduled the work. He was very easy to work with. They arrived on time to complete the work. He reviewed with me before the crew started exactly what we wanted done. His crew worked quickly and did a wonderful job. The trees look fabulous and they barely left a trace that they were there. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

They were on time, professional, gave good advice regarding what needed done, and their estimate was the price they quoted me. I have already referred them to family and friends and will definitely use them again!

I called several companies regarding a tree in my yard and was getting discouraged until I reached Scott at Wholesale Tree Trimming. He answered all my questions, explained my options and alleviated my concerns. He charged what was an extremely favorable price for the removal of the tree, stump and filling the hole. The experience was a pleasant one and I will definitely refer Scott and his crew to others. They are hard working, true to their word and reliable.

I purchased the coupon on 10/9 and Scott and his crew came out the next day. The tree was gone in less than two hours. The tree was very close to the house and also the pool. There was no mess left and no damage to the pool decking or the house. I am having Scott come back next month to remove 3 other trees. Great job and the crew were very nice to deal with. Nice guys, hard working, good work.

I had an excellent experience. I called for an estimate and they were at my house within an hour. They gave me the best price of the 3 bids I had, and scheduled the service for the next day. They were on time, did an awesome job, and did a great job of cleaning up the trimming mess. I have nothing but good things to say about these guys and will be using them again.

Tree stumps removed and cleaned efficiently.

This is to explain our rating - After deciding that we needed the tree removed and stump ground, we called several companies. Wholesale was able to drop by for an estimate the soonest. They provided a fair quote, especially when I told them about the 20% OFF "Coupon" I had from Angie's List. They amended the first price with some mathematical legerdemain where only about 10% was actually discounted, but seeing that everybody has to make their money, I did not quibble. A discount is a discount. Scott and I spoke (man to man) and he told me that it could be done "Friday or Saturday," so I mentioned that She (the Girl) worked nights and preferred Saturdays. He said "ok." So I told Her (my better half) to hire Scott (since we spoke man to man) and to cancel the appointment we had for another estimate, because I thought "Hey, at least this guy returns his phone calls." We had spent a nightmarish time trying to find someone to cut the tree down. Apparently, Phoenix tree service companies have a surplus of work and money, so that they don't return calls. So She (the Girl) called Scott and left a message stating that we were interested in his services and if he could call back to confirm. Two days later, I asked the Girl "Has Scott called back?" She replied, "No." We got worried. She, THEN AGAIN, called him. (Red flashing signs went off) This time he answered the phone and said "I thought we already had it set up." The Girl replied, "I just needed to know the time because we have to move the travel trailer." He then stated, "Early... before nine AM." Ok, so we thought. Friday night we moved the travel trailer, which had flat tires due to not being moved in 2 years. We got up early at 7AM (the Girl, mind you, works nights) to clear the obstructions that were blocking the cutting of roots. We tried to stay up, but both had a late night, we kept dozing off. At 10 past 10AM, I (the guy) got on the phone and called Scott. Of course, it went to voice mail. I was not happy. We finally figured by NOON, we had been "STOOD UP." Around 1:30 PM, Scott left a voice mail for the Girl with an inane excuse about his crew being in Glendale (we're in Mesa) and THEY had "forgotten" about our appointment. Meanwhile, Scott was apparently enjoying a day in the great outdoors camping, while leaving his business apparently woefully unattended. As such, the irascible crew was responsible for this lack of professionalism. He proceeded to say that the crew "might be able to come the next day," i.e. Sunday. By this time, another company we contacted from Angie's List had already committed to send an estimator that afternoon. So we did not return his call, (what would you do if you were STOOD UP by your date?), so Wholesale Tree Trimming lost our business. On Monday morning, at 7:30 AM, the phone rings and awakens us. Did we mention the Girl works nights? Something Scott should have remembered. She answered the phone, half asleep, and he STILL wanted to set something up for THAT day! Apparently, whenever someone you STOOD UP does not return your call, then it might be best to let it alone. Luckily, the Girl just told him that we had someone else for the job. By the way, they did a fine job BY SHOWING UP!

I called Scott a week before and we set an appointment for Thursday. Due to some personal issues from my part the job was not done Thursday. We set a new appointment for Saturday. He came on time with his crew. They immediately began to work. They cut the tree and after an hour the work was done. The area were they worked was leveled to the ground and clean. I recommend this company for this kind of jobs. Scott also gave me some advice about future trees that I can plant there. He seems very knowledgable of his work.

Scott was great. Good communication start to finish. I never actually met with Scott we discussed everything over the phone due to my work schedule. Other then the brick circles that were around the trees you would never know they were ever there. My Ash tree looks great! Will definitely be using Scott and team again next year.

I was very pleased with the service. We had been out of town when they did the service and when I came back it was gone. It was relieved that they had no issues taking the tree down. I would definately recommend them to anyone.

Scott and his two workers showed up right on time. They explained the best way to treat/prune my trees. They then stayed on site and did exactly what they said they would do until the job was finished and everything was then promptly cleaned up and hauled off. The trimmed trees now look much nicer, and it is impossible to tell that there were 4 smaller trees removed.
