It went fabulously well. Scott responded quickly to my request for an estimate. We walked the property as he indicated what would be trimmed from each tree. The tree trimmer arrived on time and he and the crew worked continuously for most of the day. I appreciated that the crew seemed to work well together, they would explain to me what they were doing if I asked, and did an excellent clean up when they were done. I was very satisfied with the work that they did and will certainly be calling on them again for my annual tree trim.

I checked Angie's list for a tree trimming referral. Wholesale Tree Trimming and Scott Harmon had great ratings and, to my delight, they were offering a special - $249 for $400 worth of service. I called Scott on Tuesday, he went to the property to assess the job on Wednesday, and scheduled the work for Thursday afternoon. The property needing the work is a rental property. Scott advised me that the job was greater than $400, but he would do what he could to make it look good and stay within that price range so I could take advantage of the special offer. Scott was great to work with, professional, fair, honest and wanted to make sure I was happy with his service and work. I could not be happier with the service provided. Scott had to come back the following day to haul away the debris; I was impressed with the fact that he kept me in the loop and even provided a photo of the finished job. This was greatly appreciated as I was curious as to how everything turned out, but making the trip to check things out was challenging. I will definitely call Scott again for work required at my rental property and my own home. Thank you Angie's List!

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service and I paid additional charges. This was the first time I used this company. They were very prompt, courteous and cleaned up after themselves really well. I thought they did a really good job on thinning my Oak tree out so I would recommend them.

Everything went well. There was a small miscommunication regarding the appointment date and time. Eventually, everything worked out well. The cost of service was more than the special deal, but that was because there was an additional tree to remove.

We had a very good experience overall. Communication was regular over the course of getting an estimate and having the work done. We were made fully aware of the different options and risks/benefits of removing the trees in different ways. The service was very professional and we would definitely recommend this service to anyone who needs trees removed.

I called Wholesale Tree Trimming and Removal on Monday and Scott, the owner, came out for an estimate that same day. He described in detail how the work would be done and gave me an estimate which I thought was very reasonable. His crew showed up the next morning, right on time, and began with the removal of the large tree (approx. 30' tall). Throughout the process the crew took great care to see that no damage was done to the two nearby walls that separate our property from the neighbors. They took the tree down in steps, beginning with the top branches and working their way to the bottom. The limbs were removed from the property as fast as they took them down. When all that remained was the stump, the crew brought in a grinder and ground it to below ground level. They then removed all the wood shavings and covered the area with landscape stone I had already in place. Everything was cleaned up with rakes, shovels, brooms and blowers until you couldn't tell that there had ever been a tree there! The elm tree was reduced and thinned to my satisfaction with much time taken by the trimmer to ensure the tree was in balance and had a pleasing look. I would not hesitate to use Wholesale TT&R on my next project would recommend them to anyone.

Moved into a new home 1 year ago, the trees were severely overgrown and had not been maintained in at least 3 years. Scott came out and gave us a quote. What made it different, was that Scott took the time to explain what each tree needed and why. This was very nice to have someone explain, in details, why you would want to trim a tree back a certain way, etc. It was refreshing to have a knowledgeable explanation of the different items that needed to be addressed. What was also nice was that Scott broke it down into tiers of what service should be done and in what order (in case $ was an issue). This was great because Scott was not pushy at all and I felt I had all the information I needed to make an informed decision. I look forward to using Wholesale Tree Trimming and Removal in the future to complete the outstanding tree work and future maintenance.

We just moved into a new home and many trees were WAY overgrown, dying, etc. Contacted Scott and he showed up right away for an estimate. His crew arrived on the scheduled date, worked quickly, thoroughly and cleaned up the premises very well when done. Excellent work and I will definitely be using them again for maintenance on the trees.

This is our second time using Scott and Wholesale Tree Trimming and Removal. In December 2012, Wholesale Tree Trimming removed a very larger Bottle Tree at our home and we had a very good experience (we submitted a review at that time). When we needed additional work done I called Scott and he was out within a day for an estimate and he was back to complete the job a couple of days later. Scott takes the time to listen to what you want done as well as make suggestions. Easy to work with! Scott and his team do a great job and make sure that all of the cleanup is done right down to the street cleaning. No hesitation in recommending Scott.

I called, and spoke with Scott on Monday, he came by to give me an estimate the same day. We agreed to get the job done the next day, and he arrived just as planned. They worked quickly, and cleaned up the mess, even skimming my pool, to remove debris. I am very happy with the job done, and will use this company again.

We had been looking for someone to trim our very over grown Palo Verde Tree and our Citrus Trees but not having much luck with people being reliable and in some cases not even showing up to bid the job when they said they would. Scott Harmon showed up and bid the job right away, set up the appointment for service and the crew was here on time. Everyone was very quick and professional. They had one team cutting and one cleaning up so the job was done quickly. Scott took the time to explain what the were doing and why and I was impressed with his level of knowledge and professionalism. During the process there were several citrus branches that fell in our neighbors back yard but they were not home, the next day Scott came out with a crew right away and got them out of there. I will definetely be using Wholesale Tree Service in the future.

I had 5 ficus trees (30-35 ft tall) along my backyard fence. They had outgrown their welcome at our house by causing plumbing problems and dropping huge amounts of leaves into our pool after getting hit by the recent freezes. I submitted a web quote request on Sunday 3/10 and received a call from Scott Monday morning. He said that he could swing by Monday afternoon to give me a quote. He arrived promptly Monday afternoon after his morning job was finished and gave me a very reasonable quote, and said that he would also trim up our sumac and oleander which were near the ficus trees. Scott scheduled me for Wed. morning (3/13), which I thought was great that he could work on our trees in less than 48-hours after providing a quote. Scott was very professional. He and his crew were courteous and worked quickly and efficiently. They tidied up after their work cleanly. Cost is with Angie's list discount.

I had a small job, just a 2 large trees that needed shaping and reduction of pool overhang. I called Scott, he was very pleasant and told me he would be in my area around 11 AM to noon to do an estimate. He said he would call if delayed. I called Scott at 12:30 PM and he indicated he was extended on the job he was on and would be by around 2 PM. OK stuff happens. I called at 4 PM and he told me " I don't do estimates until the end of the day, my notes say I was to come by after 5 PM". If he had told me that the day before, I would have not waited around all day for him to show up. Needless to say, I told him I didn't need his services and I hired another tree trimming company and the job is done.

They did a fantastic job, involving climbing and major deconstruction of the tree. All debris was removed and carried away, they were efficient, pleasant to work with and I would definitely call them again!

The nursery where I purchased the replacement tree had a recommended tree service so I contacted them. Over a day later they returned the call and I e-mailed the a photo of the tree to be removed. I did not hear from them for two days. By the time they returned my call, Wholesale Tree was literally on their way to do the job! I sent an e-mail to Wholesale Tree via the company website with my job request, within 2 hours they were on the phone and I arranged to e-mail a photo of the tree in question. Within the hour Rick called back with an estimate and I said, let's schedule this. They called an hour before arriving, set up and did a wonderful job removing the tree. I could not be more pleased. It was a slow time for them so they were able to also do an expert job trimming my two other trees at a very reasonable price. I think the best compliment to pay is that while they were doing their work, my neighbors came and asked for their Business Card for future tree services. My gold standard for Services are: reasonable rates, quality service, professionalism and prompt communication. Wholesale Tree Trimming has them all. I will definitely use their services again and recommend them.

Scott, the owner, called me back within 1 hour of me calling. He was able to come out later that day to give me a bid. They were originally supposed to come out on Saturday to do the work. Scott called around 1pm and said they were headed to another job but would be at the house later in the afternoon to do the job. He came by around 5pm and said the other job took longer than expected but that they would be back between 9 and 10 on Sunday. They showed up right around 10am on Sunday begin the work. They cut the tree down but needed to go to another job so they left the stump grinder in my back yard and said they'd be back Monday or Tuesday to finish up. They returned on Tuesday to complete the job. They did a great job on the tree and the stump. It looks like it was never there.

Job went very well. All the crew were polite and professional. The job took about 4-5 hrs. The owner was present in the beginning, let us know what was going to take place, left his crew to proceed and then returned about an hour before they were through. He was hands on when present and made sure we were happy with results before leaving. Excellent experience.

We had an estimate that seemed reasonable for removing three large trees located in the front and back yards. We were able to schedule within a week. The workers arrived on schedule and set to work. The cutter was excellent. He could make the limbs fall where he wanted. There was no damage that was of concern to us, and we have a lot of plants in the front yard. They ground the stumps well, and cleaned up all the debris. They worked hard and were able to finish the job that day. We were very satisfied.

Scott and his crew did a great job. We purchased a property that had several large trees overhanging the home. He and his team worked quickly, took out several other bushes that we asked to be removed, ground the roots, and cleaned up. I would use them again.

Owner Scott contacted me within a couple of days after requesting an online estimate. Arrived promptly for the tree removal estimate and gave us a very good bid on the complete removal, including stump grinding, of a large Ash and Chinese Elm, as well as a small Japanese Plum in our back yard. I explained it would be a couple weeks before we would be ready to go through with the job and Scott was great about keeping in touch without being pushy. Once we were ready I gave him very short notice and he and his crew were out here ready to get to work. They were all professional, courteous, and made sure that the work was done to our satisfaction. The clean up was done to perfection. I would highly recommend using Wholesale Tree Trimming.

Called for info after reading favorable reviews on Angie's list. Spoke with Scott immediately and he arranged to come out the following day to look at our project and provide an estimate. We agreed to have the work done on the following Tuesday and a six person crew arrived as promised and worked most of the day dealing with our trees. The crew checked with us as the work progressed to be sure the work they were doing met with our approval. It was a good experience and we were very pleased with the results.

The man who came out was very nice, I chose not to go with them because of extra cost over the price of the deal.
