Monte, the owner, came in person to bid the job. He paid a lot of time to details asking questions and making suggestions about which way a gate should open, where a fence line should be to allow an unobstructed view from windows and how it would look in front of or behind a brick line that had been previously installed. He also came out two other times when we changed our mind about where we wanted things. Because I was able to take out some shrubs that he had identified that needed to be removed, he was able to move up our job which we were thrilled about. The team showed up on time, and worked non stop the entire day. The finish work was the second day. Some equipment broke, and Monte came promptly out to the sight to troubleshoot. The equipment was replaced, and the fence was completed that day. Monte is professional, patient and a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend his company.

We were in process of buying a house with a pool and needed a fence because we have an infant. Monte was here for our estimate appointment on time and explained the process and all of our options. He let us know up front they were booked up for installs for a month so wouldn't be able to install end of July or beginning of August (met with him end of June). He was very thorough to make sure we had all information we could possibly want/need for our decision. Shortly after our appointment he followed up with our estimate including a few options that we were considering. The estimate was a little higher than others but unlike the other companies Monte assured us he could have the fence just around the pool deck (other companies were going to fence off half our yard in a rectangle). We picked our options, gave Monte our deposit and scheduled the install for the first of August. Since our install was farther out he even let us put a hold on manufacturing until we officially closed on the house just in case something happened. A couple days before the install date I received a confirmation of install date. The day of Monte and his team showed up promptly and got to work. They finished the whole install that day, left no mess and we now have a beautiful fence! We are so happy we went with Sun King for our fence, it was more than worth the extra cost to get exactly what we wanted.

Fabulous experience and much less than other quotes for security gates!

We called 3 companies for estimates. Sun King took the longest time and offered the most options on the estimate. They were the middle price bidder, but I liked him best so went with them. Sun King scheduled the work about 2 weeks after the estimate. The crew was polite and cleaned up after themselves. I only found one piece of metal trash left over in the yard. They put in a sturdy fence - I have pushed on it all the way around to make sure it is sturdy. It took them 2 days to do the backyard fence. Then because we were so pleased with that a month later we called them to do the pool fencing also. We didn't even get other bids for the pool fencing, we just went straight to Sun King. They gave us an internet discount of 155. We paid half up front and the other half only once finished and we were satisfied. We really love this fencing. We would use them again.

I was looking for a contractor to replace an old RV gate on a property I recently purchased and located Sun King Fencing on the internet. After checking the BBB, I found they had an excellent rating so decided to have them replace the chain-link gate with a wood composite/ iron frame gate. Privacy was very important, as the house is on a corner lot and people pass by the gate all the time. I am also an out-of-town landlord and it was very easy to communicate with Sun King over the internet as well as phone. My gate now brings up the neighborhood instead of bringing it down! The service was very good and the product looks great.
