D J Pratt was our sales person. We have been purchasing from Spencer's since 1991, and have ALWAYS been pleased with their service and price. We had seen an add for a lesser Frigidare model, but D J showed us the LG which was not a great deal more in price, but was a super buy. If you price check around, I will assure you that Spencer's will come on top every time for price, value, and quality. Great people to work with.

They delivered, hooked everything up, and installed everything correctly. They also delivered on time. Everyone was very professional, attentive, and knew what they were doing.

That was originally was "Mom and Pop's" too, but when they expanded they have done very well. They have several outlets in the valley. They are not pushy and they are knowledgeable. When I went to buy a washer and a dryer I told them I want the best one you got of this. Whatever I get from them they follow my lead. They are very nice people. They do what they say they were going to do. If I re-arrange my lights to be here at 2:00 on Friday and you said you will deliver it at 2:00 on Friday, then you should deliver it 2:00 on Friday. They will put the new one and they will take the old one away, which is also important to me because what am I suppose to do with the old one.

I purchased and had installed a refrigerator, RO system, and water softener. I also purchased a warranty for the refrigerator. I have yet to receive any receipts. I have called the store twice for the receipts they stated they would mail them out and I still have not received them. They also did not disclose full charges. I am paying delivery charges per item. The product I purchased is nice. They did deliver the items on time. The service installation people were fine but I did not care for the sales staff. They had the selection of items I liked. I would consider using them again but I would now know how to work with them differently.

Purchase process and product quality were good. Said they didn't have correct dishwasher (only option that fit) when we were arrainging for delivery a few days later - said they'd run out. After discussions with manager, they provided the correct dishwasher. Installation went fine and all products work well.

They are a great company. They are excellent and the prices are great.

Price was great. Salesman was great. Contract the installation out to another company. The installation was on time and they were done in an hour.

They have competitive prices. Their service is good. The price includes delivery and set-up to our satisfaction.

The Fridge and Range were delivered on the date that was scheduled. However, when it came to the washer it was a different story. The day before all of the appliances were delivered we received a call from our sales representative stating that the washer was on back order so it wouldn't be delivered. He said that he was going to call the manufacturer on Monday and find out when we would receive it. We didn't receive a call from the sales rep on Monday and so we called on Thursday. We were told that our sales rep was on vacation that week. The sales rep that we did speak to told us that the washer was on national backorder and that Spencer's didn't know when they were going to be receiving any of the washers that they had ordered. Another week goes by so we have now been without the washer for two weeks, we didn't receive a phone call from the sales rep so we initiated one. We were again told that he would check with the manufacturer about delivery. A few more days go by and we didn't get a response from him. We are now at the three week mark without a washing machine. We call our sales rep again to find out what is going on. We let him know that we are disappointed with the customer service we have received and that we really want to know where our washer is. Finally, at the fourth week the sales rep calls to tell us that a shipment of washers have come in and that one of them is the one that we ordered. We get it scheduled for delivery and are really happy with the product. Our decision to purchase from Spencer's was two fold, we had received referrals that people had great experiences there and we wanted to purchase from a locally owned company so as to keep more of the money that we spent in our economy. Based on our experience with the washing machine purchase we don't know if we are going to be able to make the same referrals. We feel that we were in a hit and run. The sales rep got a sale and then dropped us. We never got a call from the sales rep, except for the first call to tell us that the washer was not being delivered with the fridge and range, that was not initiated by us. He didn't seem interested in following up to make sure that the transaction was ever completed.

They must have unloaded it directly onto my newly resurfaced street, because there was tar on the bottom of the refridgerator. It now makes a grinding noise when you try to move it, and that is after a repair man from GE (that Spencers got) spent an hour trying to remove the tar. He had to jack it up to remove tar from off of all of the rollers. There were black marks all over my floor, and that is the only reason I knew and discovered that the tar was on the refridgerator to begin with. They banged up my door frame when bringing it into my home, even though I have a sliding glass door in the back that they could have used. I was told that all of this damage was not covered in my warrenty. I wish I had insisted that they replace it right away. I am disheartened by this experience and will never use them again.

We've always enjoyed buying from Spencer's, but this time they didn't live up to their good reputation. We placed our order two weeks before our desired delivery date and were assured that all items were in stock. When delivery day came, our appliances didn't. I spent hours on the phone trying to locate our items before I was told they would be delivered the following week. That left us in a new home without a fridge! They finally promised to deliver a "loaner" refrigerator until ours arrived. See the attached picture of the guacamole green fridge we received (complete with a dryer sheet inside to mask the musty smell!). On our 2nd scheduled delivery date, I again spent hours on the phone tracking down our order to find that it still wasn't coming. Our appliances arrived 10 days later (the store had to substitute a different washer/dryer set and credit us for delivery charges). When the bill arrived, it did not include the finance offer we had agreed to. More hours on the phone!

Salesman was straight-forward and professional. Didn't waste our time with unnecessary sales pitch. Delivery was prompt.

A'S HAS BEEN OUR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES WITH SPENCER'S, THE SALE WAS VERY EASY. NO PRESSURE TO BUY, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL SALESMAN, QUICK TRANSACTION, VERY SMOOTH. THEY ARE DEFINITELY OUR APPLIANCE DEALER OF CHOICE. THE DELIVERY WAS ON TIME AS SCHEDULED, AND THE APPLIANCE WAS AS ORDERED, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A MISSING FACTORY-INSTALLED ICEMAKER. IT SEEMS THE DELIVERYMAN HAD REMOVED IT BECAUSE AN ICEMAKER WASN'T ON THE WORK ORDER. WHEN WE POINTED OUT THE OMISSION, HE CHEERFULLY REINSTALLED IT.

THIS WAS A DECENT COMPANY AND WE WERE HAPPY WITH OUR PURCHASES AND THE INSTALLATIONS.

WE USED THIS COMPANY TO PURCHASE MOST OF OUR APPLIANCES AND WATER SOFTENER/R-O SYSTEM IN OUR PREVIOUS HOME AND WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH THE BRAND NAME APPLIANCES THAT THEY CARRY AND THE PRICING DEALS THAT THEY WORK OUT WITH YOU. WE DECIDED TO PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN FOR OUR NEW HOME AND WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. THEY STILL PROVIDED THE SAME LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, PRICING DISCOUNTS AND DELIVERY/INSTALLATION QUALITY THAT WE EXPECTED FROM THEM. VERY GOOD COMPANY.

THE PRODUCTS WERE DELIVERED IN PERFECT CONDITION. THE SALESMAN WORKED WITH US ON A DISCOUNT DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF PRODUCT THAT WE PURCHASED. THIS WAS A BENEFIT. THE ONLY CONCERN WAS THE OUTSIDE CONTRACTOR THEY REFERRED US TO FOR INSTALLATION. HE MADE AN ERROR IN THE ELECTRICAL HOOK-UP AND CAUSED A SIGNIFICANT DELAY IN THE INSTALLATION. HOWEVER, SPENCER'S IS A VERY PROFESSIONAL AND REPUTABLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH.

REPAIRMAN ON TIME, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND DID WORK QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY.

EXCELLENT, HONEST COMPANY. WAS ON TIME AND ONLY CHARGED ME A SERVICE CALL FEE.

WE WERE ABLE TO PURCHASE A WASHER THAT HAD A FEW SCRATCHES ON IT, DUE TO SHIPPING AND SPENCERS SOLD IT TO US AT A DISCOUNTED PRICE. THEY ALSO TOOK OUR OLD WASHER AWAY FOR US, AT NO CHARGE. WE RECEIVED EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER OF THE LOCATION AND THEY WAIVED THE DELIVERY CHARGE. THEY WERE VERY ACCOMMODATING TO OUR NEEDS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SPENCERS TO ANYONE THAT IS IN THE MARKET FOR HOME APPLIANCES AND ELECTRONICS. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL.
